Business Owner

I am a licensed Aesthetician and Massage Practitioner with over 15 years of experience in the medical esthetics industry.

My approach to skin care blends traditional aesthetics, holistic alternatives, and nursing to create a unique transformation for each client. Before opening my own spa I worked with several top plastic surgeons in the La Jolla area as a Patient Coordinator and Aesthetician. I found my true passion for transformative skin care through corrective facials and massage while in nursing school and made the transition from medical offices to the spa industry.

I treat each of my clients with special attention, care, and warmth no matter the service they are receiving. Every one of my clients’ skin care goals is important to me and I find nothing but sincere joy in seeing their skin transform into healthy, glowing, radiant skin.

I was struggling to find a good esthetician for almost 2 and half years after I moved to San dIego and it didn’t help that i had acne all over my face. I tried different places, none of which helped, most of these places were so rough on my sensitive skin that going to these places and getting even a simple clean up facial made it worse. After having a rough experience, I finally **finally** after a lot of careful research on the internet met with Nicole. I was very skeptical initially, but she made me feel very comfortable, listened to me and understood where i was coming from. I’d say that she is the best esthetician in San diego. My acne has cleared up completely and my skin is so much better now. I have been seeing her regularly for more than 12 months now, although it just took one session from her which tremendously cleared my acne. I had a small thing that grew out of nowhere on my face under my right eye and it looked so ugly, and it is now totally gone! like it was never even there! Phew, that was a total relief. All thanks to Nicole! I took my mom as well to see her for a facial and she couldn’t stop talking about her either. I’d highly recommend her.

Used my mothers day gift card to get a facial with Nicole. Absolutely amazing experience. Nice service and what I loved the most is that she always asked you before she went ahead with anything. It was very personal and catered to the customers needs and wants.

Nicole is definitely a skin guru. Her skincare line is superb, by far the best on the market for an affordable price. There are no pore cloggers in her products. Which is important to me, since I once had acne prone skin. I had grade 4 cystic acne all over my face, trauma induced scarring from a previous esthetician (performing poor extractions). Nicole cleared my acne, vanished my scars, and has made my skin smoother, hydrated, and overall better than ever.
What makes her so rad?! She manipulates the skin while using advanced technology. She is one of the few to have the machines she has, and definitely the one one who combines them the way she does. Her goal is to give all her clients succulent radiant skin. I have dry skin by type, and I’m Mexican and White, she takes all things things into consideration to learn my unique skin and address my specific concerns. She knows how to balance your goals with your lifestyle. I’m the type of client who will do whatever is necessary to get the results I want.
The Hydrafacial has transformed my skin! By far my favorite, especially when coupled with LED. Makes my skin smooth, vanishes my scars, and reduces redness and inflammation!
I live over 30 minutes from her spa and she is worth the drive!!!

Nicole gives the Best Facials in San Diego by far for clearing acne!!! My teenage son had bad acne and we saw Nicole after a friend of mine told me about her acne program and how her skincare treatments. Before seeing her we tried everything from the dermatologist, who just prescribed harsh perceptions which just seem to make his skin worse and red. We also tried department store and a chain spas but neither were much help. She starts off with an extensive consultation and I found her to be very upfront and honest about the entire process. The program consists of 3 parts — products, treatments and coaching. My son’s skin quickly cleared up in 6 weeks and we continued working on his scaring. Nicole followed up with us every week to see how my son’s acne was doing and to make sure her skincare was working properly. I highly recommend Nicole’s acne program and you will quickly find she truly cares for all her clients

I found Nicole via Unilocal.I have had bad skin on and off since I was a teen and now at 45, my skin has changed again. I kept getting awful spots, dark red and angry. No matter what I put on my face, they got worse. I had to find a way of dealing with it. On my first meeting with Nicole I was immediately impressed. She really tried to get to know my skin problems and she didn’t pressure me into anything! Being here in San Diego, my ultimate wish was being able to go outside without all my different colored concealers and being able to face my friends without being embarrassed about the amount of makeup I had to wear to cover my spots. I do not have acne, but just a lot of spots and a lot of bad reactions to any type of skincare product. Nicole was amazing. I initially had a brilliant facial and my skin literally glowed afterwards. I followed it up with a course of 5 LED light treatments. After each treatment my skin was better. The redness of the spots was gone after the first treatment and things improved from there. I really enjoyed our sessions.
She recommended products to me to use and gave me samples of things I might like. I certainly think that she treats everyone as an individual with totally different needs. I love the products she recommended I use. And for the first time in months, I have no breakouts. My skin is glowing! I am going back to see Nicole for my LED booster tomorrow. I can’t wait to be in that room again. I can’t tell you how much I love going outside without makeup. It’s priceless and so is Nicole at Savvy Skin Spa.

I’ve been going to Nicole for about a year so far and she has literally saved my skin! Before Nicole, I thought extractions were the most painful thing ever, but she is so gentle… they never hurt when she does them. And my face always feels super clean and fresh when she’s done. I get the hydra-​facial every two months and I always leave happy with a glowing face and feeling very relaxed :)
Nicole is super knowledgable and always answers my random skincare questions too! She really cares about her clients and I would definitely recommend her to anyone looking for an expert esthetician!

I have been going to Nicole for 5 years and I can honestly say that my skin looks better in my 50’s than I did in my 40’s. She really knows my sensitive skin and how best to treat it each month. She adds so much more to the experience than just a facial (heated booties, foot and neck massage, monthly specials, etc!). I have also been using her product line for the past 9 months and find it to as effective as the high end products I had been using. Whenever I have friends and family in town for visits, the first thing they ask is «Can you schedule me with Nicole?!» Even my husband goes every month now and his skin looks great! Definitely see Nicole, you will NOT be disappointed

I had my first brow tint ever from Nicole. It was amazing. I didn’t know that it would make such a big difference in how my brows looked. Nicole’s office is very clean and she is incredibly professional. She knows everything there is to know about skin. She is the skin care guru in Del Mar. I have nothing but love for Nicole’s business. I see her for my sun damaged, 40 year old skin and she works magic (I’ve been getting the HydroGlow with light thingy). The red dermatitis I had around my mouth/​nose has disappeared, which I never thought would happen after trying a million different products without success! I also come here to have my knots worked out by Amithy, who Is simply amazing. Suffice to say I love them both for their expertise and sparkling (super sparkling!) personalities. I’ve never been big on treating myself to facials and massages but these girls have helped me see the error of my ways :)

I have been going to Nicole for 5 years. She is very knowledgable and genuinely cares for each client and their skin care needs. I have «elderly» skin and rosacea, so my treatments usually involve gentle exfoliation, extractions, mild peels and lots of hydration… along with toning and tightening. She works with you to develop a realistic skin care plan using products you already have or makes recommendations from her skin care line … no hard sell. During your treatment she puts lotion and warming booties on you feet, may give you a scalp massage and always massages your neck and shoulders. How could you not relax?
I have strayed to other spas occasionally because of a Groupon offer, but always return to Nicole. She runs monthly specials, too, so be a savvy shopper and try Savvy Skin Spa. You’ll be impressed!

Nicole gives the very best facials i have ever had, in San Diego or anywhere. She is very knowledgeable, perceptive, and soothing. Her aesthetic sense coupled with her medical background make her facials relaxing and very effective. My acne is so much better since i started seeing Nicole several years ago — used to have very bad acne and now i rarely have any breakouts. The best!

Nicole has made my skin the best it’s looked ever. I’ve noticed dramatic results and go to her regularly as part of my anti aging régime. I now wear very minimal makeup because my skin looks so great. On top of it, she is a very sweet and caring person.
