Very well organized yard. Relatively fair, no-​haggle prices. They nickle-​and-​dimed me a bit on the small bits but overall reasonable. Will be coming back here the next time my girlfriend breaks her car.

Frigging love this place and they are so nice in person. Don’t expect much help on the phone if you call on a Saturday but they have new model location coming soon. Mark and Robert helped me out and gave me a free soda. It was 100 degrees out and I had searched 5 cars for random part. Found what I needed and was on my way for just $ 1 for the part and $ 2 to get in! Best place ever…

Doug’s the man when it comes to selling your car as salvage for the best price. Like others here on Unilocal,I contacted everyone I could find to get the car out of impound as quickly as possible. Doug beat everyone’s prices by a long shot and also took the time to ask about my family members who were involved in the accident. That’s a great personal touch in what looks to be a cutthroat business.
The tow truck driver he sent to get the car was fantastic, as well. He called when Doug said he would, was patient on the phone while I made sure he knew where the lot was (it’s hard to find if you’ve never been there), and then met me at the lot exactly when he said he’d be there. He made sure the check was right before having me sign over the title and then took the time to go over the title to show me exactly where to sign.
All in all this was the best I could’ve made of a bad situation. So if you have a wrecked car you need to move fast, call Doug.

I work with almost a thousand automotive recyclers, and this is the first time I’ve ever taken the time to post a review for one of them. I have been working with this company for a couple of years now, and I have nothign but good things to say.
These guys are professionals in this industry, and consistently do a fantastic job each and every day. They have a process that runs like a well oiled machine, and are a pleasure to work with. If you are unhappy with anything I recommend asking to speak with someone in charge because they have integrity and will do their best to remedy the problem.

This is by far the most well kept and organized salvage yard that I have ever been to. They make it super easy to find vehicles. When checking in, they ask you what you’re looking for. Then they print you an itemized list of cross matched vehicles on their lot. Not only are they kept in specific sections, each row is clearly marked on both sides. The printout shows the year, make, model, color row number and sticker number. Much better than wandering the whole make section! Staff is friendly and helpful, which isn’t the case with most others. Their selection is the best in Austin, and their prices are very reasonable.

Horrible customer service. I will never do business with these people ever again. Everyone from the asshole cashier to the idiots that answer the phone. Never again.

This place is awesome! So many vehicles too choose from so I always find what I’m looking for and some stuff I was not looking for but was just too awesome to pass up especially with the super cheap prices!

Great experience. My 2000 Mazda MPV blew a head gasket and was not worth fixing. I started calling around and had trouble finding anyone to take my call. I tried Wrench-​A-​Part and I was promptly serviced and given and very reasonable $ figure for my van. They showed up the same day to pick it up and we both got a fair deal. They do business the way I would do it myself. Fast, straight-​forward and painless.
If you need good parts for a 2000 MPV van give them a call…

This place is great. I’ve been here three times now — to get a seatbelt, to get a complete door, and then to return the parts I didn’t use. A great experience every time. The place is very organized, they had six or seven cars of my make and model to choose from (same year or close to), people were helpful, wheelbarrows provided, huge selection, easily navigable, and returns on items (if you buy the warranty for $ 7) are easy breezy. The Old Geezer will even tell you jokes while you wait :) it’s worth the drive, and prices are reasonable.

The only place I go to get my parts. Well organized, cheap and friendly staff. I have even sold them 2 cars. Check em out!

What others are saying is true: this is the most organized junkyard I’ve ever seen. You can check inventory online, or staff will gladly show you where the cars you want to pick from are in the lot.
Either bring your tools, or bring someone who knows how to disassemble things and your tools. You have to pick things off yourself, but prices are super cheap once you do.

I’ve been to a few pick/​pull places, this is the updated version. why this is different
website: you can check the inventory of cars online. most importantly, they feature the new arrivals on the website, including row number. fresh meat (junk)
friendly staff: I’m used to cranky, greasy and shady sort of types operating these type of places. everybody here was friendly and smiled and seemed to want to help
organization: as I paid my $ 2 entrance, the girl at the register asked what I was looking for. she checked inventory on her computer and gave me a map after she highlighted the area I expressed interest in. vehicles are organized by type and make (dodge trucks, asian cars, euro cars etc)
prices: the prices are posted on the website, and they stick to them (and they are very reasonable). I’ve been to pick/​part places before where they tell you one price before you pull the part, then after you do all the work, they come up with a different price as you pay with some lame excuse like «you didn’t ask about CHROME bumpers, those are chrome, you just asked the price for a regular bumper» or «you didn’t ask me the price of a BMW radiator, the price I was talkin’ bout was for domestic radiator»
free carts: the pick/​part place I used to go to in Monterey CA charged if you wanted to use one of their carts to haul your parts. this place has big wheeled table carts for free!
don’t discount the fact that this place is NINETEEN acres. I made the mistake of hauling all my tools in with me to set off on a gold seeking adventure. I was looking at several different types of cars/​items. I should’ve left my tools in the truck until I found what I was looking for. I got a good workout hauling my 50 lb bucket of tools on a hike through 19 acres of junk cars.
I found what I came for, two newish condition seats to install in my vintage hotrod van, about $ 20 each!

True story: My truck recently failed inspection because of a worn down seatbelt. I called a Toyota dealership and the conversation went like this:
Me: I need a seatbelt for the driver’s side Toyota 4-​Runner LTD.
David: Front or back?
Me: *Pause* Em, front.
David: Oh, yes, right. One second… that’ll run you $ 260; we can order it and have it here for you tomorrow.
How much did it cost at Wrench-​A-​Part, you ask? TEN BUCKS. With the only downside being you have to take your own tools, stomp through the lot and tear what you want on your own. I’d definitely call before heading over there to make sure the vehicle you are looking for is available. And I’d wear comfortable shoes that you aren’t afraid to get mud on.
The lot is 19 acres but extremely organized. There’s a section for Asian, European, US brands, and then the trucks are in a different section.
All in all, this is a great place if you want to find replacement parts for your vehicle!
