Since 1984, Bartelt. The Remodeling Resource has been committed to building relationships as well as offering quality craftsmanship to homeowners across southeastern Wisconsin.

Whether renovating an existing home or building a new one, our experienced in-​house designers, production staff, and expert carpenters work closely with you to take your ideas for your home, create a workable design, and make it a reality. The Bartelt team has also won many local, regional, and national industry awards, including Regional and National «Contractor of the Year» (CotY) awards presented by the National Association of the Remodeling Industry (NARI).

Business Owner

Rick Bartelt, CGR, CAPS, CCP, MBC, is the owner of Bartelt. The Remodeling Resource. He began in the construction industry over 40 years ago, assisting his father, Ronald Bartelt, on project sites during weekends, holidays, and summer vacations. He continued to learn about carpentry, and in 1984, Rick and his wife Chris started Bartelt. As a longtime member of the Metropolitan Builders Association and Milwaukee/​NARI Home Improvement Council, Rick has served in many leadership roles within the industry.
