Burger was Top 3 I’ve ever tried. Great Service! Cook even came out and tried fried cheese on our burgers. Complimentary mushrooms, fried onion and condiments was a plus. DELICIOUS.

Went to lunch on Tuesday with a couple of friends. Can t say enough about the place. Ordered the spring roll appetizer with peanut sauce. Very good. But the star of the show was my 7 oz burger. Amazing. Also the topping bar was great. Sauteed mushrooms and onions made my day. If you go try the teriyaki mayo. Just excellent. Hamburger was perfectly medium. Everything was perfect. Good job Grill Junkies!!!

Coming from Chicago to meet our daughter who left some «stuff» at home, we met in Delafield. Looking for a place to eat, we stopped at Grill Junkies. The service was outstanding, the burger and chicken sandwich we had were awesome. They have a nice little condiment bar to fix your sandwiches however you’d like. Will definitely stop back next time we are headed up to Madison!

I couldn’t agree more with Andrew H. This place is a respite in an otherwise dull and uninspired food landscape around these parts. The shear number of Noodle & Co, Qdoba’s or (insert clever name) Americanized Mexican food places in Waukesha Co is really depressing. FINALLY, some noodles I can get down with. When I walked in the nice woman behind the counter said.“Your first time here”. Mind you not as a question, as a statement. You have to love an establishment that recognizes their patrons. I ordered the Thai noodles for take out. They were delicious, and a generous portion to boot. I will be back for sure to try something else on the menu. I have a feeling this place will earn a 5 star before long.

Food is fresh and delicious! Service is friendly and fast. The pulled pork is highly recommended.

My wife and I decided to check out Grill Junkies mainly due to the many great reviews here on Unilocal.We were not disappointed by any means. I enjoyed the Steak Burger and my wife the Turkey Burger, both were very very good. We also enjoyed the «Cheesy Wontons» as an appetizer and furthermore took home a to-​go of the Pad Thai Noodles.
Prices were reasonable and the service was quick, though this was a Tuesday night and we were one of only five or six occupied tables (another plus in my book).
No further need to go into detail as the many reviews have already mentioned the truth; we can only reiterate what most of the other reviewers have stated.

Love this family friendly restaurant. Excellent mix of health food. Love the burgers and Pad Thai. Have been coming here since they were in oconomowoc but glad they moved closer. The owners are wonderful people and make it a comfortable place for the family.

The best burger I have ever had! The chocolate shake was delicious and the sweet potato fries were crunchy and soft. YUM!

Great place! This is the cozy, unique type of place you find everywhere in big city neighborhoods but is rare around here.
Thai noodles, and black bean burger both great. We’ll be back.

Great burgers and great service. Make sure you try the Teriyaki mayo. They pay a lot of attention to details. She even gave my 4 yr old a quarter for the large gumball machine by the door. (After asking us first of course).

If you’re looking for a great burger in Delafield, Grill Junkies is the place to go. A big, juicy burger, Angus beef is the star of the menu, but other menu selections include grilled chicken, pulled pork, a couple of salads, some Asian dishes and several appetizers. I’ve been there twice. First time I had a burger which was one of the better burgers I’ve had in a long while. Today I had eggrolls and lettuce wraps… both were outstanding. Service is friendly and efficient, food quality excellent. All in all, a very good place to eat lunch or dinner in Delafield.

Perfect service, so-​so food.
I ordered a 7 ounce burger with blue cheese, bacon, fried egg and calamari fries. Burger was overcooked to my liking, egg was extra runny so I needed a few extra napkins. Calamari fries tasted very poor quality but was at least cooked properly.
Be sure to ask how you would like everything cooked so it isn’t a surprise.
Now onto the thing that promoted this rating from 3 stars to 4. We were greeted and seated immediately. Gave a quick run down of the menu. Drink and food ordered within 2 minutes of being seated. The waitress (who I think was the owner) kept on top of us with making sure our drinks were refilled, food tasted good and suggested a good dipping sauce for the calamari fries. She gave us a punch card and coupons to return when we got our check.
I will return to order food to my specifications and hopefully add another star to my review.

I stopped here for lunch with a colleague on March 24^th, 2016. I ordered their 7 oz burger, fries and a coke. The drink had free refills. The burger was very good — pink in the middle, juicy and rather tasty. The fries were also quite good, reminiscent of the fries you get at greek restaurants — crispy on the outside and hot on the inside. You added your own toppings and condiments which was just find by me. Overall, I would rate this as a very good burger up there with In&Out burger and Culvers.

Grill Junkies is a funky burger/​Asian place, located in a strip mall. They serve the burger naked (or with cheese), and then it is build your own — sauces, fixings, including fried onions and mushrooms.
Burgers are good, but not awesome awesome. Cooked to medium — well, although they state they cook to medium and will cook as requested. Plenty of fried side items including fries, calamari, mozzarella, onion wrings, etc. Bonus — a couple of wines and bottle beers are available.
Interesting side is there Asian items — not a lot of them, but they are there — Pad Thai, Red Curry noodles, etc.
Good food, clean restaurant, nice staff. Far better burgers than Five Guys, etc. Although the fries at five guys are better.

Wow, rarely would I agree with so many of other Unilocal reviews of a restaurant! We stopped here on the way back to Madison from a swim meet in Waukesha and agree it was great. The service was attentive, the burgers were cooked perfectly and tasted great. My wife had the black bean burger and said it was tasty as well. The ordering is similar to AJ Bombers where you mark the menu for what you want, but then you have the topping bar to add on condiments. For a couple tips get the fried pickles, they were wonderful, lightly breaded and not at all greasy. Also, recommended by our waitress was the teriyaki mayo for dipping our fries; this was amazing and I’m not a teriyaki fan. I’ll be doing this again the next time we visit. Highly recommend and will certainly be back!

I have to update my review to a HUGE WOW! Not only did they cook our food PERFECTLY but the service was top notch. We are always looking for a great burger and I’d say we are done looking, we found it! Thank you Grill Junkies for a wonderful meal. And for making my son’s night with a free gum ball!

We were on our way home from Milwaukee and pulled off the Interstate to eat at a different establishment in town. Driving past there, we noticed they were really busy and we didn’t want to wait. Thankfully we caught a glimpse of this place out of the corner of our eye and checked Unilocal for some quick reviews. The result, glowing reviews and ratings plus a nearly empty parking lot!!! Weren’t sure what to expect but we were more than pleasantly surprised! Food was fantastic and the service matched! Prices may be a tad high but the quality of food was great so I didn’t mind paying a bit more. Will definitely return!

This is the type of place you go to having no idea what to expect. First of all, the food is great! Burgers are very flavorful and cooked perfectly and it’s fun to be able to choose from a good selection of toppings at the toppings bar. We also tried the fried pickles with the $ 5 off coupon and they were very good. Crunchy and just the right amount of salty.
Now, I had to take off 1 star because the atmosphere is just a little bit… different. It’s a burger place but there are no beers on tap, only bottles. We were the only ones in there at 7:30 on a Thursday night, which was surprising because the food is so good! The tables all have different art on them which I guess I just failed to appreciate because it sort of reminds me of a 90’s skating rink. The place seemed clean and our server was kind. My husband and I appreciated the quietness to enjoy our conversation, but if you’re looking to blend in or be a part of an atmosphere of any kind, look elsewhere.
But, just as we were finishing our meal, another couple walked in and picked up a bag full of food at the front, then walked out… turns out they do carry-​out! So that is a great idea if you want to avoid the «different» atmosphere.
Bottom line, great food will always keep us coming back.

Didn’t want a burger, so I got the Thai garlic noodles with shrimp, and calamari fries to go. The place wasn’t busy, but was clean and bright and smelled great. The owners were friendly and out making sure everyone was satisfied. The noodles had a very good texture and taste, and all the debris in there with them made it even better. There was enough that I it took 2 meals to eat. The highlight was the calamari fries, and would have gotten a 5 if the batter on them would have been lighter. Nice and tender with a good taste.

I love the laid back menu and vibe. They give you markers and you check off the menu items you wanna order. They have something for everyone — burgers, bean burger, turkey burger, Asian inspired foods as well. They toast your buns, which is a nice touch. They have a bar of condiments you can go up to and use when you order burgers and such. The bar has many vegetables and sauces !
We’ve ordered a couple different things from here and have never been disappointed !
