Perkins Restaurant & Bakery

Went to this location for a bit of breakfast for my work lunch. I had been hankering a slice or two of French Toast all day, the anticipation was palpable. We were promptly greeted and seated, our drink orders collected, and were left to peruse the menu. Our waitress arrived a few minutes later with our beverages, and we placed our food order (myself ordering the brioche french toast platter with eggs and bacon).
Then the wait began.
The clock ticked away, no food arrived. Our waitress came by several times to ask if we’re ok, in a passive manner, as she walked on. We were, but admittedly I would’ve been much better with a belly filled with french toast.
The wait continued.
With a dining room only about 20% filled, now we’re getting antsy about the affair. We asked when our food would be arriving, and were assured our items would be out promptly.
The wait finally hit 30 minutes, and that was it. With a lunch period of an hour, we had used the vast majority of it waiting on food that never developed. We approached the hostess, let her know that we hadn’t been served our order and had to leave, and left the premises with stomachs grumbling.
I’ve been a longtime customer at this location. Never again after this experience.
I’ll also have to make sure my fellow coworkers are fully aware of the dismal performance at this location.

Food alright. Service from staff much better. The only thing about this restaurant I don’t like is a PR and treatment of employees. A staff member told me that the manager is a huge Vickings fan and refuses the staff from wearing Green and Gold even during the football season.

I am one of those people who place a lot of weight on service. The staff here always seems to be friendly. A bit slow at times but I guess I usually go here to enjoy time with my family for a good, no-​dishes-​for-​me breakfast. Restaurant and bathrooms are clean. Food is cooked well. I love their new, healthy egg, spinach, sun-​dried tomato and mushroom scramble. Comes with turkey sausage, fruit and dry wheat toast and egg beaters. Yummy and guilt-​free!

Disinterested staff and mediocre food. The service is a bit slow. It’s really not up to the level of the other choices in the area.

Our family gathered at this restaurant a few times over the weekend. Service was good, but getting our food was rather slow.
The pancakes and hash browns were on the greasy side, like they had been saturated in butter. Other than that, the food was decent.
