R.C. Hill Mitsubishi

My wife were looking to trade in our car. All was well at first. Test drive was great. Low pressure sales tactics from Jeff at the dealership. We were set on a vehicle, but needed to get a duck or 2 in a row in order to opimize our deal. Jeff gave us his card and told us to call later that day or the next and he’d get it done over the phone so we would only have to come back to sign and drive. Well, we never spoke to him again. Between my wife and I, we must’ve called 30 times. So we said ‘F it’ and went to our usual dealer at the auto mall. 90 min from the time we got there until we signed and drove away at Daytona Nissan. We got a great deal and a much nicer vehicle.

I bought a Yukon Denali in 2013. It was a good price I thought. A few days after I got it home I realized the cruise control didn’t work, the back window switches were broken, the dome light was broken. I also noticed all the switches on the dash had a stickiness to them. I really didn’t want to drive to hours to Deland again, I lived with it for a while then had them all fixed. I had meant to write this review then mainly because they new about these issues as it had gone through their so called point check. I keep my truck clean always vacuum and wipe down the seats and have it cleaned in and out twice per month. I took to a professional detail and he couldn’t do it as he told me all the seats and carpet had been dyed and the dye would come out if he washed and shampooed. He said its a practice dealers use sometimes to hide a lot of stains. He said it was probably a service car as its the Yukon xl Denali, that would explain the stickiness on the buttons. So yes RC Hill could be deceptive, very disappointing indeed. Took me a while to write it, but people need to know.

The service repair man in charge or so called manager (Christian) was very unprofessional and actually yelled at me over the phone because I had another repair man fix my vehicle in the past and for not bringing it in to Mitsubishi. I would not bring my Eclipse here for repairs again. In my opinion this Manager needs a little more training on Customer Service and Anger Management skills.

This dealership has very deceptive practices. I purchased a vehicle through their sales person Jeff. I felt that I could trust this sales associate as he had sold my mother a car before. I found a 2012 Jeep Patriot that I really liked and wanted. Jeff told me that there was a second key which I was very happy about. He said that he would have to get it for me. I finalized my deal an went home. Three weeks went by and nothing from Jeff so I contacted him and he said he was still working on it. Ok, waited another 3 weeks and still the same thing. Then after 4 months was told to come into to service and they would do the key for me. I showed up and they said they had no idea what he was talking about. So I tried to meet up with him at the dealership and everytime he always seemed to be at lunch. I then demanded to speak to the general manager or someone in charge and explained the situation to them. They said well it wasn’t written in the contract so there was nothing he could do. When I showed him my text between Jeff and I he said best he could do was half the key with me. That’s still $ 200 buck out of my pocket. No you need to give it to me your sales man lied. I meet someone one craigslist who said they experienced the same thing. I told the manager that I will never buy from them again and will tell everyone I know not to as well. I serve in the military as well as a large government agency so I tell everyone I know not to shop here. Unilocal really needs to allow zero star ratings as that is what this dealership needs. The only reason they are getting a 1 star from me is that the service department is great and does an amazing job but on the sales side never again. This review is for a purchase I made on August 9, 2013 I never got around to the review at that time because I was too angry and frustrated dealing with the dealership.

In my life, I have bought two cars, this being my third. In all those experiences, never before had I had somebody so down to earth try to get me into a car. Jeff listened to our needs, he didn’t push us to get a new or used car, even though we originally went there for a used car, Everybody we worked with put real time and effort into getting us a loan and supported each other as a team.
Everybody came off as trustworthy, supportive, and had a great attitude.
Jeff went above and beyond, meeting with us on his day off, even offering to drive the car to Orlando, almost an hour away. They even offered to tow our trade-​in, because it wasn’t in good enough shape to drive that far! The process was far faster than I had ever experienced, and I never felt rushed or forced.
Me and my fiancé left with a new Mitsubishi Mirage, and couldn’t be happier! (Except if it had come in blue, maybe haha). We would definitely be going back there again for our next car, and I would recommend it to anyone in the market! :)

Worst car dealership. I bought a car February 2013, shortly after started having transmission problems, brought it back to the dealer while it was still under warranty, they said nothing was wrong with it. Problem has gotten significantly worse, brought it back to the dealer to see if they could help because I did bring it back to them the first time and they were very rude and passed me along from one person to the next. Do not go here, you will be treated poorly.

I think I have car ADD. I like one. I get it. I hate it. I trade it. Then I end up in some flashy car that doesn’t work for me. I have found the cure for my issue.
I knew I wanted to trade my sedan — 2013 Ford Focus — for something that was. well bigger and could accommodate my kids and all of their stuff. I found out about RC Hill while at work because my company participates in the Mitsubishi VIP Program. I checked out their website and found the Outlander Sport. It was just what I needed for me and my kiddos. (and. their crap).
I spoke with Anthony and Bob and they were nice and did what was necessary to get me where I wanted to be price wise. I left and the next day I called my credit union (who I had already secured financing through) to find out the terms for the price that had been negotiated. I thought it was great, my credit union did too so we had Bob send the Purchase Order to the credit union.
I got my awesome ride, and even though I had drive home in a crazy rain storm the kids and I loved the extra room, the moon roof, and the RF sound system haha.
The experience here was nice. I really have no complaints and would do business there again if the need arose.
Did I mention I freaking love my new Outlander???

Very friendly, and not at all pushy! Jeff Welcheck and his manager (I’m sorry, I don’t remember his name) really listened to me and I feel they took the time and effort to help me find just the right car for my needs. After I had already committed to buying the car, they continued to shop banks to find me an even better deal. When I was called into the office to sign the final paperwork, I found out that my payments had been reduced $ 60/​month from what I was originally quoted, and at a much better interest rate. Not only would I recommend this dealership, I took a stack of their business cards and have already started passing them out! This may be the only honest car dealership in existence.

This place is a joke, seems like they do not even want to make a sale… I went in and test drove a vehicle, told them I planned on trading in 2 cars for it and asked them to run the numbers during the test drive, so as not to waist my time. Get back and spent 2 hours for them to say they couldn’t do it for a used vehicle and asked if I would be interested in a new one, I said no and left. Decided to give them anopther chance since I liked the vehicle, called first time and spoke with a sales manager and told him I would be willing to do only one of the vehicles for a trade in, he said he would call back in 45 mins, never called back! I called a few days later, spoke to another salesman and he rushed me off the phone, said he would call back in 15 mins. He called me back an hour later and gave me a set price and made no attempt to sell the vehicle. Unless you are buying a new vehicle they do not want your business. I have bought many cars in my time this by far was the worst experience I have had.
