The only reason that the dealer got a high rating is they aggressively push you to rate them before the problems emerge. Bob called me every other few days because I didn’t do it fast enough.
I bought a 2003 Subaru Forester from bob about a year ago. The good impression is they didn’t push you to buy their stuff, and let you see by yourself instead. BUT that also means they hided some serious problem if you can not see it by yourself. In my case, a unacceptable rusty chassis.
I did remember to do mechanic check and the mechanic told me the ball joint is too rusty and loose to drive. I was so inexperienced so I contacted the owner Bob to fix it. They did it for free. So I was happy and think this dealer may be good. I was so WRONG and should return it at that point.
Recently the engine start to make terrible noise so I got it checked again. The new mechanic not only told me the noise comes from a leaking muffler and that is the minor problem of my car. The real problem is the whole car probably will fall apart at some point because its so rusty underneath. I don’t think he is lying because he can not fix it and did all these for free.
So I got a muffler specialist to replace the muffler. Although the sound is gone, the specialist also suggested me to sell the car before it fall apart on the road and kill me.
That is my story. I know used cars have defects and usually sold as it is. But at least it should be safe enough to drive. I was lucky, nothing big happened during the past year, but some day, some one may be killed because of them. They have no excuse because Bob was so sure that their mechanic has examined all their cars and there is no big problem. Even they didn’t know that before hand, after replacing the ball joint, the problem should be obvious to experienced eyes. If you still want to try this dealer, go ahead, just keep your eyes open. Dealer is a dealer, nothing is more important than money, even other ppl’s life.

I went to look at a Car that I saw online. On the online description it said the car was in great condition with nothing wrong, also the online price was $ 8,999. I drove an hour to this car dealership to find out the car was NOT as pictured or described in the online description. The car had so many dents and dings and paint chips. I totally understand its a used car, but at least list all of the things wrong in the description, rather than making me waste my time looking at the car. for example, the front bumper was cracked, back bumper had paint chips which were covered by crappy spray paint, many rusted spots all over the car etc., just not an attractive car overall on the outside, so disappointing since I was very excited and interested to look at this car. I asked the owner if he would take this damage off the asking price. He said no. The price of $ 8999 is how the car comes, nothing else. He said if I paid $ 10,999(which was the sticker price on car) he would fix it all and guarantee inspection. I was really annoyed because the car was not as pictured and then they decide to change the price??? The prices didn’t make sense or match at all To the online price and it was all over the place… very confusing. Turned me off!!! If there were all these dings and things wrong with the outside of the car I can’t even imagine the issues that would of been on the inside. Just not at all satisfied with the whole experience with the place or the car I looked at.

I’ve been researching cars for a month now, and I finally had my heart set on the Honda CR-​V. After scouring the Internet for weeks comparing prices and mileages etc, and reading reviews for all different dealerships, I found that this dealer had by far the best prices with the best selection. I would have came here even if the reviews were terrible! It’s a very comforting and welcoming environment here and the guys are truly here to help you find what you’re looking for.

Went there to look at a Corolla I saw online, and ended up with a 2007 red Camry. Pretty car, decent price, and good customer service. It’s been a few weeks and so far the car feels and runs great (as of course it should). I’ll update this if anything goes awry, but I have full confidence in this vehicle being that it is a Toyota.
***UPDATE ¹⁰⁄₁: Six months later, the engine overheated, no compression. You know what that means? This car was garbage. So now I recommend you DON’T go here. Go to a legit dealership. Don’t believe these high online ratings. They ask people to write these and give them 5 starts. So much for that!

Just bought a 2010 Nissan Altima from this dealership today. I was impressed by their level of customer service! We worked with Doug mainly. He didn’t pressure us, yet knowing our budget, recommended the Altima and we ended up agreeing it was the best fit for us. It’s a family owned business with lots of selection, and they have lots of business connections to ensure that everyone gets approved and gets a car they can be confident in. When the bank pre-​approved us but needed additional paperwork, the owner (Bob) and his son (Chad) overheard, stepped in and made a call on our behalf. Unbelievable how they went above and beyond. They earned our business and we highly recommend them to any of our friends and family.
P. S. They have 3 small Maltese doggies in the office that are so cute and friendly. You immediately get a good vibe when you step in to their office. :-)
Oh, I almost forgot, Bob ensured us a free detailing for the car because we finalized the car purchase after their car detailer left for the day. Yay! :-)

First of all –its a used car dealer — so you need to understand that. They are not going to know every thing about every car. And their mechanics may not know everything about every car either. That said, there are things they should know as well. And that was my experience. I saw a really decent looking Mercedes S500 yr 2000 online and in the lot. Looked what I can look at — brakes, fuse box, undercarriage, battery, the whole exterior /​interior. Tested the heat, the AC, defrost, radio etc. Door and trunks and for the spare. Took a short test drive. Hard to the left, Hard to the right, a good stiff step on the brakes. Lights. Great carfax. OK. Bought it. That was a smooth process. They took care of all of that. Went as they said it would.
Took it home and drove it for a day, noticed one problem with the windshield wiper fluid. So, took it to my mechanic asap. Should have taken it to him BEFORE I bought it but that is almost impossible to arrange I think. Anyway… he checked it all out 2 hours — full computer diagnostic. Hard road test. TWO problems with the car —
1 — the windshield wiper fluid was leaking out immediately due to a problem with the headlight washer connection. No mechanic who knows anything, would have seen this right away.
2 — the major air strut was cracked — this is something someone not familiar with a Mercedes of this class could miss. It is a very expensive repair about $ 1200 for the Mercedes Original Part. You cannot replace this part with OEM crap — its too integral to the automobile.
I told Bob this (he is the owner). I explained to him how I felt, that on #1 — his guys should have caught that and hey number 2, I’m not sure so pay me for the repair to the windshield wiper connection and we call it even, since the rest of the car is in fabulous condition. ((I fixed the inside trim myself.))
About ten days later, I got my check from Bob. From that, I have to say — Bob is a man of his word. Is he a little too busy, does he have a few too many cars, yes. But, these are not flaws in his character, more just a little over enthusiasm.
At the end of the day, my advice is buy the top end stuff here with a good carfax. Take it to a mechanic you trust and know and have them tear it down and do the full monty on it. Even if you have to put a few bucks into the car, you are putting money into a much better car. Yeah so I had to put $ 1200 into the car after already shelling out $ 10,000, but when this Mercedes was new it was $ 85,000.
PS — got my first speeding ticket yesterday in Upsate NY. The speed that this car can go comfortably. Wow. No wonder the Germans have an auotbahn.

This was my first time buying my very own car. After driving about 2 hours away to look at a 2005 Mini Cooper, just to find out that the dealer was showing me an already sold car; and after going to a second dealer to look at another Mini Cooper that was listed online and calling to see if it was still available only to find out that they had sold the one I was interested in AGAIN, car shopping was becoming very aggravating to me. Then I came across Auto Direct online, they had a 2006 red Mini Cooper for about $ 10,000 with a little less than 80,000 miles on it. I called to see if it was still available and spoke to Bob who was very friendly from the beginning. He advised me of his two locations close by and gave me a heads up on the paper work that I would need to take if I wished to drive off the lot with it. I arrived at their location right off the Tacony bridge early and was welcomed by Doug. The Mini Cooper was just as it looked online, leather was intact it was very clean, no scratches or bumps just what I was looking for! After test driving it to their second location I was in love! It drove so smoothly, every window worked, AC was cold, seat warmers heated up fast. I was greeted by Bob and Chad who couldn’t have made the buying process more easier for me. They got me a great interest rate, for a first time buyer I couldn’t have asked for anything more. No one was pushy, you could tell it was a family owned business. I would highly recommend them to anyone looking to buy a car. They even offered a free oil change once a year, to all of the people there, including myself. 2 weeks later and I still love my Mini Cooper it drives great, couldn’t have asked for anything more for a great price. I was in without a car about 3 hours later I was driving it off the lot, just what I wanted.

I completely agree with the previous reviewer however I was smart enough after the third time to realize this whole place is a Sham. I went on 2009 to look at an Acura CL: reason I didn’t buy it, sketchy sales. Broken window regulator which they wouldn’t agree to repair if paying for asking cost. Just to think a 150.00 could’ve shielded them from a poor customer service review. Ok four years later I’m looking for a new car, I hit their brand new Palmyra location where there’s no salesman, and nobody knows anything. Test drive gold 2003 Acura TL, oh wait first we have to go get gas (how professional. And it wasn’t the guy who let me drive it who paid for gas, it goes on the poorly run business again). Mind you he got regular gas for a car that takes premium, good to see that matters none. Oh, broken sunroof in it, don’t advertise a sunroof if it isn’t working, broken key battery; for whatever it’s worth. No big deal I came to drive a Lexus anyway. It was in Delran. So I went there. Shady as shady can be I check it out, cars still wet from detailing. No gripe with the car, just nothing special. Guy lets me test drive it for up the block around the corner and on the highway for maybe a quarter mile. Anyone who wants to buy a car wants to at least leave the general area to see it perform. Or if it performs. Or maybe they were worried about paying for the gas! Got back to the shop and the owners son basically walked back inside and I just left. Poor poor poor customer service. I will never go back and never recommend anyone go here. The vehicles all have a catch. The lot is a rented portion of another car service lot. I strongly suggest buyer beware. Thumbs down.
