A-Z Picture Framing

My wife and I have used A-​Z (formerly Az the Wizard) many times, and the work is always excellent. A-​Z does first-​class, beautiful framing, and Az is always friendly and willing to work with you to find the perfect option. The only place I’d go for framing in South Florida!

I’ve brought nearly a dozen things in for custom frames and he always does an amazing job. Way above and beyond what you would expect from a chain place like Michael’s and the prices are very fair.

Az isn’t just great at what he does, he’s also a savvy businessman who goes the extra mile. I’d given him a movie poster to frame, and when he wrote down the measurement, he made a mistake that meant he underestimated the price. When I came to pick up the BEAUTIFULLY framed poster and noticed the pricing mistake, he refused to charge me more than he’d originally estimated… and when I asked if he was sure, he said, «I hope you’ll come back.» After being treated that well, I will!

Great quality work, at a fair price. I was very happy with the museum frame I got from Az. It looks so much better than I expected, and it’s evident that he took his time and paid a lot of attention to detail.

I stumbled upon Az The Wizard because it’s in between Papa’s Tapas and Coffee District.
In the past I’ve used places like Michaels or the Rag Shop for framing but Michaels is a complete joke. Their thing is they mark up prices by at least 50−65% if not more and then offer you coupons for 50% to allow the naïve customer (me) in thinking they are getting a deal. They did good work but after pricing out a few places I’ve realized they were about $ 110 over priced on this particular item.
Az, the owner, takes the time to make sure your needs become reality. Besides being very friendly, he was also very honest. For example, he quoted me on a frame a few days prior and the price jumped a little, he still honored it and told me he’ll do his best to get my work done prior to the deadline. He’s very accommodating and his prices are very very reasonable. He is a one man operation so I can rest comfortably in knowing my concerns will be addressed and the project won’t be turned over to several other employees. I wish I knew about this place a long time ago, I would have saved thousands. Az The Wizard is why I prefer to deal with small businesses and they are the definition of a great run business.

I just moved into the area and had to pieces I needed some custom work on. Both signed movie memorabilia. Az, was AWESOME! He went the extra mile to make sure I got the positioning of each one right, the matting matching the piece and the frame to convey the mood of the piece. WOW, I was impressed. The prices were very affordable and for what you get I couldn’t believe how fair he was. He even helped me out a bit since I had multiple pieces. I had priced out a frame before and his price with matting was cheaper than Michael’s big «60% off» sale and you get an expert handling your art rather than some minimum wage person. They turned out incredible and I will DEFINITELY be back for all my pieces in the future. Highly recommend this upstanding small business and this wonderful business owner!
