Delray Beach Marriott

Awesome Marriott property, I travel weekly and this hotel might beat out some JW and Ritz beach properties. Rooms are modern, nice pools and great concierge lounge all with direct beach access. Dawn K. The front office manager is amazing and went above and beyond for our stay. A must visit if you are a fan of the beach and Marriott properties.

Nothing compares to the personable service you receive at the Delray Marriott from the front desk to Tom at the pool and especially the lobby bartender Rod and Charles at the concierge this staff goes above and beyond. We stayed here over the weekend and can’t wait to see all the staff members who made us feel this was our home away from home. Thank you so much rod tom and Charles you make this place special.

Had Issues with the parking garage entry pass, failed to work. Bellman are rude and arrogant.
Maid did it have room cleaned until 5:15 P.M.
Two Star Hotel, Five Star Prices

Staying here for several days with a friend. So far, this place is great as Marriott typically is. We were upgraded to a partial ocean view because we used Marriott points for the full stay. Room is fine, hotel is beautiful and located directly across from a beautiful beach. Location is walking distance to all bars and restaurants of which there are many!

The little courtyard on the main floor was my favorite spot to sit w a cup of coffee w my husband in he morning. The hotel is very well maintained. The floors and he rooms were clean. We had a suite and he space was quite large w an ocean front view. The terrace wasn’t large enough to really sit out and enjoy but you could still sit out and enjoy the great view. We didn’t use the pool area for it looked busy and a little loud. And we like music but it was a bit much. Really a three star hotel because the road divides the hotel from the beach but it’s really not so bad. Maybe if we didn’t have a top floor ocean front view it would be. Also didn’t love that the lounge area of the suite was dark. The only window had to have its shade down for it faces the hallway. You can hear housekeeping /​guests in the hallway if you are in that part of the room. But four stars for the view while having great access into Delray. We were able to walk into the main restaurant area which was ideal. So four stars for location between Delray and being on the beach, clean large rooms, lovely hotel — and a very attentive staff. Would stay again.

Avoid the Sunday brunch. The food was cold and of poor quality. Management was more interested in marketing for Mother’s Day instead of celebrating the event today, Easter. The staff was pleasant but the food was dry, overlooked and salty. Most unpleasant. They also put too many tables in the banquet room making it impossible for you to return to your table. Better to reserve a table at one of downtown Delray’s fine establishments on Atlantic Avenue.

Beautiful hotel! My boyfriend Nick and I came here for a wedding and it was really lovely. It was during the holiday season so everything was decorated with Christmas items and it was fantastic. I have never stayed in the rooms but the venue for a wedding is really nice. We had a great time. Maybe Nick and I will consider this for our future wedding :-P

Really poorly managed and maintained hotel. Moldy shower, sticky carpets, crowded pool, and terrible food. Avoid like the plague.

Dont stay here. The management is unresponsive and ignorant. Check your bill. Tried to charge me for items included in my package, then tried to pull a fast one on the bill by trying to hide the same charge calling it something else. Horrible experience with housekeeping and front desk. Avoid at all costs.

Stayed at this Marriott for a conference. Forgot to check-​in on Unilocal but I’m back home and have time to review.
The location is good and easy to find. To get to the beach you have to cross the street. My view was semi-​ocean. I’ll attach a pic so you can see the distance.
The hotel is old and the rooms and facilities aren’t updated.
There is a Keurig in the room, but no mini-​bar. They don’t have AC on in the lobby. I realize it’s January but it was near 80 outside and humid as hell so it would have been nice to not sweat inside.
I stayed on the 5^th floor. In the morning you could hear housekeeping talking and cleaning and about through the walls/​door. I was up by 7:30 each morning so, I don’t know what one would experience if they tried to sleep in.
There’s a door-​hanger they offer as an option to earn points and forego housekeeping. I put that on my door straight away but still had knocks on the door from housekeeping nonetheless so I put the do not disturb sign out as well.
The bathroom/​closet area smelled like BO so badly that I didn’t even ha g my clothes up. I laid them out on the chair in the room. It was a horrific smell and I couldn’t tell where it was coming from– curtain, floor mat? There was no carpet there.
Had to keep the AC on 64 in the room always to keep the smell at bay and to keep the room temperate.
For the price, find another place. I won’t be back.
Also, asked for no onions– no pickles on my room service order and it arrived with both.

We loved it! The hotel was amazing, and Delray was the perfect place to spend christmas! It’s such a clean nice, refreshing place to spend your vacation! (Miami was miserable!) we stayed 3 nights in each place and I recommend delray and we stayed at the Marriott Delray and really enjoyed our stay!

Hotel is very nice! Amazingly comfortable bed and pillows with good service. Cost was very reasonable as well for beachfront property! Car parking was about 20 a day even for guests who stay there so that’s unfortunate but it’s great location to all yours needs

It depends what time of year you go. During the season the service is better but the prices are jacked way up. The off season is cheaper but the service is terrible. This hotel stays busy with tourists because of its location but you’re better staying at a smaller better run hotel close by

Beautiful Marriott. Great location. Valet service was courteous and helpful. however the housekeeping had a lot to be desired. Slow slow slow. Our room was not cleaned by 5:30 P.m. on two out of our 4 nite stay. We were then told on the last night we could have requested early room cleaning. Not acceptable for the prices charged for off season!

Food was horrible: appetizers at the pool bar all tasted like they were frozen for too long and microwaved too long — definitely recommend redoing the entire food service
Front desk help was a little too immature for me, I prefer more experienced and polite help at the front desk
They billed our credit cards incorrectly so had to call back to get it corrected, inconvenient
For a Marriott I would just hope that there standards would be a little higher or better on the Cons I mentioned above especially since there are so many competing hotels in the area, which we may check out next time.

My family of four spent a few days here as a quick vacation.
Rooms were comfortable and well maintained. The lobby is modern and attractive.
The pools were very clean and busy. Poolside drink service is always a nice plus in a place where you can spend the entire day in the pool.
There is also beach access across the street.
I found the staff to be friendly and helpful. It was definitely a kid-​friendly experience, as well.
Location-​wise, there is easy access to much of what Delray has to offer. Restaurants and nightlife are within a short distance.
Minor drawbacks: On site parking seemed a little pricy relative to the valet option. I also found the one meal we had on site to be disappointing.
These are not major issues, but keep it from being a top notch experience.

Really nice place. Very close to the beach and lots of bars and restaurants. Looks like an older building that they renovated. Lobby is very plush and the service is great, especially at the bar. We’re here for a wedding but the prices are still a little high but you get what you pay for. We are in a suite with a nice sized front room and bathroom. The atrium very pretty and a nice place to meet up with a group so you’re not disturbing other guests.

Before checking in, I went to the pool bar for a daiquiri. After not being ackbowledged for 15 minutes, I waved at a waiter who took my order. By paying $ 600 per night for a room with a «beach view» which included a massage, you’d expect for the view and service to be somewhat decent. It wasn’t. The room (316) was tucked away in a corner. Being that it was on the 3^rd floor, the «beach view» that was across the street, was blocked by trees. The balcony that I didn’t even bother to open the door to, was a joke. You could probably fit two people on it (God forbid if you are even slightly overweight).
The front desk staff were all pleasant. Tammy went above and beyond to sort out a mistake that was made at the spa. The entire spa area is very nice and comfortable. Fabiola from Spa was very nice and accommodating. The massage received on the first day was VERY mediocre. I specifically asked for a male masseur so that if have adequate amount of pressure applied… Didn’t happen. It seemed as though it was his first day as a masseur. I went back the following day for a facial. Hady was amazing, I even added an additional tip to the already included gratuity.
I doubt that I’ll be staying at this Marriott again.

We had a lovely room overlooking the water with an amazing balcony.
The lobby was clean as well as our suite.
Our bathroom was a little small for the size of our room. But the view made everything better.
Check in doesn’t seem to before 4pm so try not to get there early like we did.
Good thing Delray has a nice strip of store to walk by.

I recently stayed here for a wedding since a room block was reserved by the bride/​groom for guests. The hotel location was great since it was right on a popular street full of many boutiques and restaurants. Also, the beach was right across the street. The wedding rehearsal, ceremony, and reception were off the property but we did have a good Sunday brunch at the hotel. The pool was also decent and it was nice that the hotel allowed dogs since a friend was able to bring his.
The biggest downside was that it’s an old hotel so there were plumbing /​smell issues and several of the guests requested to move rooms. All in all, the hotel was fine but would benefit from a renovation.
