Jiffy Lube

Came here for a inspection done yesterday they filled out the wrong paper all they have to do is copy from one page to another maybe 3 minutes worth of work… and they are going to make me wait because there are other people ahead of me for something totally different such as oil changes etc… just need a paper to be sign off that is all totally unacceptable service… if I have not paid I would have walk away long ago …

Love the service, fast and very helpful. They check brakes for free and go the extra mile with many options thar saves me a trip to my mechanic. Barry is the best!

I went here initially because I found a Groupon for this location that was a pretty good deal. The wait was more than a little long, as I took 1 hr lunch break that quickly expanded to 2.5. I initially determined that it just a busy day and brushed it off…
This past week I decided to give it another try. Fool me once, that’s OK. Fool me twice…
Not only was it busy AGAIN. The majority of the techs were standing around doing NOTHING. The waiting room was standing room only.
When they finally got to my car, I made it a point to watch them. They changed the oil rather fast as I saw no one under the car. Did all of this as I was talking to another tech. So I think the oil is good, based off what I could tell.
When they tried to get to the air filter, they took three screws out and pried the damn thing open. They didn’t take it completely off. In doing so they cracked open another part connected to the engine. Which I now have to replace with money I don’t have.
I didn’t even realize the extent of what happened until that night when the car completely stalled out on a city street. I managed to get it home and to another shop the next day and get the crack sealed (for now…) But by then it was Christmas Eve.
Yes you read that right, Jiffy Lube fucked me right as the Christmas Holiday Weekend was about to begin.
Do yourself a favor. Shop elsewhere. No one at the location knows what they’re doing. They don’t even deserve the one star I was required to give them.

Horrible. Tried this location for the first time as they are near my work place and I was heading out of town that night. I called first with the details– that I wanted to drop it off and have everything completed (signature oil change) over the next couple hours. When I dropped it off the workers were not helpful at all– had to search for someone to assist. The person who did assist had me fill out a form that in no way connected me to the vehicle and they gave no reason for the form– upon pick up they didn’t even have the form and i had to tell them all the info again anyways. When I arrived to pick up the vehicle I was instructed to wait inside but no one came in… I went back out 5 times to request assistance before someone finally came in, then another associate told him to wait and he left without a word. When I was finally checked out the associate mumbled in very poor English and I could not understand him at all. They had me sign the sheet of work performed before giving me my keys– the form included washed windows and a vacuum which I later found were not at all even attempted. I also found some kind of maintenance cap in the car on the dash. Very dissatisfied with this location/​establishment and do NOT recommend this place to anyone. Furthermore– the customer service line had me on hold for over an hour during their recorded hours of operation (this was between 3:30 pm and 5:00 pm), I never was able to get a hold of anyone.

the waiting area can be cramped and hot as it was yesterday, but it is season. that being said… 5 stars for the courteous service!

Went there for the first time. Friendly, courteous new what they were doing! They explained everything great! Will go again!

The warm greeting I received when I arrive was exceptional! I was in and out quickly.

Super friendly staff, especially Sam and Frank. Wait was only 30mins. They even vacuumed and cleaned my windows! I’ll be back!

Service was excellent. Fast and very professional. «Fro» handled our visit, explaining the components of the oil change and the results of the car analysis. We went in worried that we would be annoyed, delayed and taken advantage of. Happily, we were treated respectfully, out in 20 minutes and feel that the service was very professional. We will certainly Go back.

Service is friendly and courteous. The only thing is last time they got like ALL over my engine. Lets see how they do today. ! I watched everything they did and it was done in a very professional way. Thy also recommended a radiator flush and gas additive, let’s see if I notice any difference. I left there paying over $ 300. I hope I needed it and that they were honest !

Im sorry this place makes you wait forever and the waiting room is the size of my closet. I would never send any of my friends or family to this place. Also they are way over priced and rude. If you want bad service go to Jiffy Lude of Delray Beach. Please do not waste your time or money here. They told me i had 6 things wrong with my JEEP when i only came to get an oil change. I told my step dad who was a mechanic when he was in College and there was nothing wrong with my car. One word MOOCHERS save your money and go somewhere else. THIS PLACE SUCKS!!!

Worst experience ever. Please don’t even waste your time there. First, I went to get my oil charged. $ 43 dollars. seems a little expensive, but whatever. So I waited for a while and they called me out to go over my «review» They proceeded to tell me a million things were wrong with my car. Ok cool, but when I asked them any questions in further detail, they couldn’t eve tell me. I could tell they were trying to upsell me so hard. The guy was like, «are you sure? we can take care of it now!» NOT THE PLACE I NEED SALES PITCH ON. So anyawys, I’m completly freaked out and am worried there’s all this stuff wrong with my car but they cant provide me with an explanation. I think it was all complete crap. The complimetary «vacuuming» in your car is a joke. Why bother? I will never go there again.

Completely outraged, called to see how much a oil change was and they told me $ 43. I asked how much labor would be if I brought in my own oil and oil filter they told me I would get a $ 3 credit and would still cost me $ 40. So pretty much they told me labor costs $ 40 to remove a from the bottom of my car!

The staff was polite and attentive. It stops there.
My car has only 36,000 miles and runs perfectly. I brought it in for an oil change. I was promised no more than a 30 minute wait. Took 60. They told me I needed a new battery, the coolant needed to be flushed and the air conditioning system need $ 199 of work. A new gimmick was giving you a choice between semisynthetic oil and synthetic. I usually buy synthetic. The price of synthetic was about $ 100, an outrageously inflated price. I purchased a regular oil change and left, feeling I had smelled a rat. I brought the car to a reputable garage who tested the battery and air conditioning systems: they were normal. The coolant only needed topping. Jiffy Lube had checked off the item that stated they had topped my windshield fluid. They hadn’t. I filled it with ¾ gallon of wiper fluid I had at home. In my opinion, this Jiffy Lube’s mission is to too fraudulentely extract as much money as they can from unsuspecting customers and provide a minimum of service. My nose still works!

I used to dread getting my car serviced because as a female, I always felt like other mechanics were trying to sell me unnecessary services. The technicians here are honest and never pushy. Josh and David are respectful of my budget and time whenever I go in. They work so efficiently and their customer service is fantastic. They remember me when I come back and it really makes getting my car serviced a pleasant experience. I’ll never go anywhere else! Thanks guys!

New employees… new experience! Used to love coming here for oil hanged because the staff was very friendly and efficient! Now it is a whole other story… rude employees who claim no service «takes longer than 20 minutes». That statement couldn’t be further from the truth! Anyways… think I will be visiting their neighbor, firestone, in the future!

First time ever at a Jiffy Lube and was very impressed by the professionalism of the staff.
I was done in less than 40 minutes. Red carpet treatment.

As with everyone, I have had my fair share of crappy experiences with a plethora of mechanic shops. So when you come across one that treats you the way you should be treated, well that’s call for celebration, and word should be spread.
Also, it should be said, I’m not your average customer at a mechanic’s garage. I know every aspect and detail there is to know on how a car works; it is not a mystery to me like your average Joe Schmoe. I simply choose not to do the manual labor myself.
So I can genuinely say that this place is honest and to the point. You will never spend money that you don’t need to at this location because these gentleman are not trying to make a fast buck off of you. They are also intelligent to boot; I have witnessed them taking the time to explain things to people who have no clue as to how a combustion engine works.
And to top it all off, there’s free coffee and tea via a Keurig machine, so it’s fresh and tastes wonderful. I would highly recommend this place to anyone and everyone that needs work done on their car.

I commute to work and wanted to find a local oil change store near my job. I decided to try this Delray Jiffy Lube on my lunch HOUR today and a simple oil change took them a solid hour! It seems once the store manager left for his lunch break at 1:30, break time begins for everyone! What I believe was the Asst. Manager, he finally approaches me at about 1:50 and finally wants to go over what was needed for my car (the «up-​sell»). Come to find out, the oil change was not even completed at this time! I got there at 1:10 sharp and did not leave until 2:10. No «red carpet» service here and I will not be returning. Jiffy is an informal term for any unspecified short period of time, as in «I’ll be back in a jiffy». In my case, I was very late going back to work and was not able to get a quick bite to eat during my lunch hour! They were not busy and had plenty of staff, they failed miserably. Just sayin…

I was kind of surprised that nobody had ever reviewed the place since it is right on West Atlantic.
I got there super late, probably half hour before closing.
Oil change was super quick, service was pleasant and nothing was out of the ordinary.
I didnt allow myself to get sold on all the extras but I did get new wipers that now Scratch Scratch when the old ones never did…
If I still lived in Delray I would continue using them.
