Joseph’s is a great place to eat and relax. The food is great and the service is even better. Me and my girlfriend sat down to have a bottle of wine and were treated great. We had the caprese and some pinot noir and they were both spectacular. I strongly recommend Josephs for any person in the Delray area. 5 stars.

Stopped in for lunch today, so glad we did ! Joseph served us up the best turkey club sandwich and Greek salad we have ever had. Really fresh ingredients and lovingly prepared by his wife. We sat outside, which was nice. We will return again soon ! Took one star, just cause it could use a little updating in the décor, but so what! The food is terrific and so was the service !!

Top notch. Had an issue with our reservation at the restaurant across the street so we walked into Josephs and sat at the bar. Best meal we had in Delray. Cheese plate app was great. Both meals were amazing. Tuna and a filet special. Probably the best meal I have had in Delray. Tiny restaurant but not cramped. Wine list is great. Owner very visible and making sure things are running smooth.

I love the atmosphere. Tiny but elegant. This is a great place to stop and hang out with friends or relax after a long day at work. I’ve been visiting a few times a month for a few months now. Everyone is really nice, professional and helpful.

Mixed review for this tiny place.(Tiny, tiny) reservations are a must. Extensive wine list, fabulous cheese plate, and great hummus. That’s where it went a bit downhill. The owner, Joseph, and his daughter(our waitress) are lovely and personable, but it is hard to get their attention when you need them — so plan for a lengthy dinner. Seasoning is something they need to study. Of the four of us, three had lamb, and one had filet with the special peppercorn sauce. The lamb was perfectly cooked; however, the sauce was WAY too salty. Combine that with the mashed potatoes and broccoli had NO salt. The filet was beautiful, but the peppercorn sauce was done with BLACk pepper(ever heard of pink?!?), and was so spicy it could hardly be consumed. Not sure if we will be back. Their son owns the restaurant across the street(241?), and it was empty — so probably not great. DaDa and Brûlée were hopping, so that would be a wiser choice. This place you want to love, but execution was just not there.

We were seated an served by Joseph himself! Sat outside on a nice night. Pizza was great. The ladies got duck and salmon which they thought was a little dry but still very good. Great date place for those wine lovers. Only four stars because it wasn’t epic great.

Very nice romantic setting love the owners company as well good times before work! A menu I need to explore some on my to real time off, can’t wait to check out the flavors of the menu! Have tried their sister store bistro 241 if it’s anything like that I’m truly excited to have more than just a expresso! See you soon

Hidden gem! I ordered the lamb chops and they were spot on perfect. They also have a great wine selection too. This is a great date night spot and we’ll be back again. Thanks Joseph!

In a word, EXQUISITE! In another word, DIVINE! In other words… PERFECTION! Our good man Joseph and his more than able bodied crew have expertly mastered a fine art so sadly lacking in other, similar estabs: BALANCE! We were warmly and promptly greeted by the man himself one early Wednesday eve, who quickly led us to a MOST romantic table, commanding a cozy view of both the room’s pristine interior and the ever present passers-by along Delray’s northerly 2nd Street(AH! what’s that word again? «PERFECT»!!) Having suggested a bottle of red that matched our palettes(broken record sufficiently in heavy rotation here) PERFECTLY, our host then discreetly slipped into the sidelines, graciously granting us the cozy, intimate experience we’d been craving. Food selections were delivered and wine flasks were refilled with nary a whisper of intrusion, MUCH to our delight! And THAT, fellow Unilocalers and Unilocalettes, is why we have deemed our beloved Joseph most worthy of Unilocal’s maximum utmost… FIVE heavenly and highly coveted orbs! Well done, good brother… your candor, your expertise, and MOST importantly, your unparalleled discretion will certainly assure our timely return. Just one request if you please… keep that cozy table by the window open for your new best friends! What’s that word again??? ;)

I hate to give this place the review it deserves because I enjoy being able to walk right in. This restaurant is the place I have always been looking for — great wine by the glass or bottle, impeccable advice and service, a small menu with only top selections, and fair prices. So yeah, it is Delray’s best kept secret and my favorite place in town right now.

What an exceptional experience at Joseph’s today! Hubby and I dined here for a late breakfast/early lunch, and as it was our first visit, our only perception of what to expect was what we read on Unilocal in advance. Joseph greeted us, sat us, made wonderful conversation with us, and sincerely thanked us for our business as we left. We really felt appreciated by him. Something to note is that the menu you will find online is somewhat outdated. When I mentioned that(after receiving the actual menu) Joseph told me that everything is made to order so I could easily order anything not on the menu as long as they had the ingredients. YAY for me! I ordered the Mediterranean Frittata, but added brie to it, and asked that the onions be red onions. No problem! The baked, hot, and bubbly frittata came out a bit later and was oooooh so flavorful! AND, the portion was MUCH more than I expected for a $ 10 menu item in Delray Beach. My husband loved his Mahi Mahi wrap, and also said it was very flavorful. A tip for future patrons: Allow plenty of time while dining here. This is not a, «Pop in for a quick meal» type of place. Walk in, relax, have good conversation, eat, drink, have more conversation, and make it an experience. Service is attentive, but not really quick, but that is by design. If you want«quick», this is probably not the right type of restaurant for you. We’ll easily go back and will try dinner next time.

Food is great. I especially like the grape leaves. This is a really cute, small, quiet place nice for a date. Dim lighting and a very large wine selection. The lamb chops are phenomenal. The entire Mediterranean platter we had was fresh and tasted homemade. No complaints. I didn’t give this place 5 stars because it was so quiet I felt uncomfortable. The waitress kept chiming into our conversation because she could hear everything we were saying.

It’s hard not to be kind and give four stars to people in your neighborhood. However Josephs really earns the rating. A delightful little restaurant in Pineapple Grove, Josephs has a small but elegant inside and a tablecloth covered curbside seating area. We always sit outside. Tonight I shared a crab cake appetizer with my friend. The crab cake was small, moist and tasty with no filler. Our accompanied Ceasar salad was ample. The sea bass looked more like the Bronzino variety. It was a thin piece of fish that was cooked moist, browned and deliciously seasoned. The basmati rice, asparagus and broccoli complementary to the fish. My husband ordered the duck which was just perfectly crispy, not dry and quite good. The waiter was Joseph, himself, who could not be more charming. His beautiful daughter is alway there and so sweet to chat with. He remembered us from prior visits and sincerely thanked us for our patronage. What more could one ask?

We ended up at Joseph’s by accident one day and it was been our favorite restaurant since. Atmosphere: dim lights, great wine selection, outside or inside seating, bar seating, cozy and comfortable. Service: Joseph himself approaches the table and his daughter also. They are both wonderful, attentive, professional and courteous. Joseph can suggest wines out of his large selection and nail it. They take their time and don’t rush you through meals, so if you are looking to catch a movie in a rush, you might want to go elsewhere. In my opinion, not being rushed is best for an overall pleasant dinner experience. Food: perfect and consistent… We’ve been here many times and have never been disappointed with quality, presentation or taste. Steamed veggies are on point, any dish is great depending on whether you like fish, filet, lamb, chicken, etc. Appetizers are excellent, I would recommend the baked Brie! They also give you a loaf of warm crunchy bread with I olive oil that is to die for and fresh. Tiramisu made by Joseph’s wife is the best I’ve ever tried in any place, many people that have been here with us agree… Perfect amount of sweetness, not overbearing and very fresh! Great presentation… Price: it’s worth every penny. If you are looking to spend 10 $ a dish, you’re better off at a chain restaurant, this is definitely worth the 15 – 25 $ price range per dish and you won’t regret it when you pay the bill. Overall a great place to have a date, a couples night or just meet with friends for some wine and appetizers! Will continue coming here to enjoy :)! We love Joseph and his family we have become frequent ‘clients’ thanks to the great attention they provide.

Joseph’s is a fantastic dining experience in south florida. Worthy of a trip from surrounding areas, Joseph and his wife shine in the deliciousness category and unbelievable service. Joseph is happy to choose a wine for you while you peruse the menu, just give him a taste profile and budget, he will not dissapoint. Atmosphere is low key, lots of marble and low lights, i’d suggest for a 2nd date through a group of 3 – 4 couples. Food very delicious and each dish is carefully prepared for beautiful presentation. A few highlights from our visit on Tuesday 1÷20÷15. Hummus starter, smooth and yummy homemade hummus topped with just the right amount of EVOO. Baked brie was also a nice plate, gooey brie with fresh apple slices and grapes. Salads were fresh and perfectly seasoned, no need for fresh pepper or salt here, they’ve nailed it. Tuna entrée is stellar and again presented beautifully. Finally, we tried the duck l’orange which was a special and it came out great, crispy skin and tender duck. Dessert was homemade tiramisu which was lucious and also presented impeccably. Not my first visit to joseph’s but the first time back in over 5 years. Once again, did not dissapoint, and exceeded expectations from my memories.
