Mor Property Management

OMG when reading the previous review of MOR Management, I felt this person had nailed it on the head in describing the SAME experience I’ve witnessed when dealing with this company, ESPECIALLY their description of «bob» in particular. This is the worst property management company I have ever encountered, and with personally having an extensive commercial and residential real estate management background, that says A LOT. Describing this company as unprofessional with a complete lack of customer service would be a compliment. From wasting HOA money, encouraging animosity within the community, completely disregarding HOA covenants in favor of carrying out their own personal vendettas, screaming and insulting residents in board meetings, insisting on hiring contractors that are more expensive and lower quality because they have a relationship. I’ve never met such awful and personally harassing people, let alone from someone who should consider me their client. This company does not respect their profession nor the communities they are supposed to serve. Truly horrible people who have no respect whatsoever. Former prison guard is a perfect description. Definitely someone so unhappy with their life he gets some sort of sick pleasure in harassing and hurting others. Not the kind of people you want looking out for your most valuable asset or having in your life in any capacity. Do NOT hire this company.

No matter what words I use to title this review the words don’t seem strong enough to describe the disgust I have for MOR Properties/​Skylofts Condo Association. I dealt with them for longer than expected due to their wonderful ability to break any possible law that governs associations and use little power they have to torture people as if they get some kind of sick pleasure out of it.
I mainly dealt with a low life creature, an ex-​prison guard, whose mama and/​or papa did not love him, I call him ‘awful bob’. I have so little respect for this thing ‘bob’ that I refuse to capitalize his name as by doing so, I would give him too much respect. Whenever I think about him and the company he works for, a river of verbal turrets like diarrhea of words comes to mind and I have to restrain myself from writing it all down here.
As an ex-​prison guard, awful bob while interacting with you, puts you in a jail cell, pushes all your buttons, creates an aura of greatness around himself, as if passing one week of CAM course places him above human kind.
Now a little explanation as of why I am so angry disgusted with MOR properties/​Sky lofts. I will have to summarize it although the anguish they put me through has lasted about 2 months so far:
I wanted to move in to Skyloft in Miami Gardens. When applying for condo association I was told that in order for awful bob to look at my application, along with the $ 100 application fee I will have to submit: non-​refundable pet deposit of $ 250, plus $ 500 security deposit, the only thing that is refundable, plus $ 175 non-​refundable move in monitoring fee (for someone possibly awful bob to be in the building while I move in). Keep in mind that I already placed first month rent, last month rent and security deposit as well as pet deposit to the landlord was due once I move in, which I know is a separate thing. Wanting to speed up the process I sent all the checks and they were quickly cashed by MOR Properties/​Skylofts Condo Association. I thought it was a bit of a stretch to cash all the non-​refundable, refundable fees, move in fees before my application gets approved. Long story short I never moved in to this place. A month and a half later and I still don’t have all the deposits back. Awful bob has been playing games with me. After over a month of torture: not answering calls, not responding to emails, I finally contacted a couple of attorneys, attorney general, DBPR and Florida Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services a portion of the deposits has been returned only after I threaten awful bob that I will pursue legal action. I am still waiting for the rest of the deposits as they decided to play even more awful-​bob-​ex-​prison-​guard games. The checks should have never been cashed before the approval. The only check they had a right to was $ 100 application fee. I was told by everybody to sue them and write complains with all the departments mentioned above. I have no more time and energy to waste on low life mo@#@*%$ers as I have already wasted close to 2 months trying to get back what was mine in a first place.
Perhaps all this does not seem as terrible as it was in real life. I’ve experienced nastiness from people, but this time it was completely unearned and extremely prolonged.
Well…I always like to learn from bad experiences and mistakes I make and try to be grateful for unpleasant experiences as they prepare me and teach me smarter reactions for the future. The lesson here is simple: stay away from MOR Properties/​Skylofts Association and awful bob.
What I am grateful for is freedom of speech; bob cannot take that away from me. I am also grateful for Unilocal,because… NOW… I FEEL BETTER!
