We make new wood look like vintage reclaimed wood. Our wood is clean and sanitary while old reclaimed wood (usually taken out of old barns) can contain years of exposure to insects, lead paint, pesticides/​other chemicals, and is generally dirty. You can feel confident in using our wood to build in retail and restaurant, home or office knowing that your family, friends and customers are not being exposed to any of the above mentioned harms.

History

Established in 2015.

We started our business in April 2015. We started because we built some furniture for ourselves that was posted on Facebook. We had multiple inquiries from friends, family and friends of both asking us to build them furniture. While we didn’t want to get into the furniture business, we could tell there was a need for the materials to make furniture, counters, desks, retail buildouts etc. And from that need… The Reclaimed Wood Store was born!

Ryan O.

Business Owner

Ryan comes from a background in the surf, skate, fashion and snow industries. He spent over 15 years as a buyer/​manager at retail, briefly owned an indoor skatepark in Seattle, and ended up in Florida to be the international sales manager for a marine navigation company. Follow his 4 years in the marine industry; Ryan started his own rep agency representing manufacturers in the industry he started in. Surf, skate, and fashion. Now Utilizing his years in retail, personal love of remodeling and a flair for design… The Reclaimed Wood Store is born.
