Private and semi-​private party packages are available for guests wanting to rent out the facility for any special occasion.

Pretend Play Party is now a Melissa & Doug Retailer selling hundreds of educational toys, costumes, puppets, sticker pads, and play accessories.

History

Established in 2012.

Michelle and Zach S. of Hammond founded Pretend Play Party in January 2012 in order to create a family-​friendly play facility.

Patrick and Jessica C. of Baton Rouge, parents of three young children, purchased the business in January 2014 to keep Pretend Play Party in business.

Jessica is a proud owner of Pretend Play Party in Denham Springs, a mother of three young children, and founder of The Mommy Teacher. As a former Kindergarten teacher and stay-​at-​home mom, she has always had a passion for investing in the lives of young children. Jessica’s degree in Early Childhood Education cultivated her love of imaginative play and interested her in the business of providing colorful, imaginative, fun, and secure areas where young children can explore, create, dress-​up, and interact.
