Cool old school department store kind of place. Good prices on stuff. Friendly staff. Lots of parking. Nice location off of 28. Everything from fishing gear to toys to house wares. They have everything. Not sure if it is a discount store or just like a large hardware store. Great place anyway without driving to Hyannis.

When you are on the Cape and need that odd item Benny ‘s is the place to go. Fishing gear, minnow traps, bicycle parts, kids toys, household supplies and more. There is always a salesman around to help you out an db while their prices are not always the cheapest they are reasonable for the Cape.

Not much good stuff, not many good prices. OK selection, size.

Lot’s of stuff under one roof. Reasonably priced. Great customer service, and plenty of sales people on the floor, so that you can ask questions, if need be.

This store offers a bit of everything from automotive, to board games, to AC units, even basic tools, hardware, fishing flies and tackle. Forgot the kids’ bikes? Fret not as they have those also. In fact, that seems to be the theme. If you forgot to bring it on vaca, Benny’s has it. Be patient with the crowds. Even with all registers sucking in wallets and a well intentioned staff, it can get like a zoo with all the cage doors open in there. Which is an issue if you are not a zoo keeper.

Benny’s is a southern New England staple. It feels like the slightly classier cousin of Ocean State Job Lot. There are a lot of discount/off-market brands mixed in with the known stuff. No joke though, every regIster had a line. Plus I found and bought two things I needed that I had been been unable to find anywhere else — including Sears and Target. I almost impulse-bought about five other things too. As a bonus you get a quirky staff.

Benny’s is the place to go if you need windshield wipers, inflatable toys for the beach, bicycles, or 100 Grand candy bars. Or to interact with strange assistant managers in short-sleeve dress shirts.

I got a flat tire in Yarmouth. I took the advice of the person at the front desk where I was staying and drove to Benny’s in Dennis. It was a Sunday afternoon, and although the store was really hopping, it took an hour, maybe less, for them to find the leak in my tire, get a new tire, and put it on my car. I was happy to be back on the road, since I was camping in Wellfleet that night. So, kudos to you, Benny’s!
