History

Established in 2012.

Four years ago we rented an empty store on beautiful Cape Cod and started filling it with our handmade creations. Inspired by our surroundings, we began making rustic pieces with coastal living in mind. Customers came and some wanted pieces that fit with their color palette or room size, so custom work became a large part of our business. We love creating something beautiful from recycled materials.

After more than 20 years working as a graphic designer, my partner, Mike (now a retired mailman), encouraged me to try something different. I had the design skills and he had the power tool skills and we both loved recycling. It’s been four years since we made our first fish and we haven’t run out of ideas. We wish we had more hands and more hours in the day to create all the things we dream about.
