The Dennis Inn

We just had our daughter’s wedding at the Dennis Inn. They are under new ownership and it was fabulous! Janene and Fred are fantastic! The building is gorgeous. The kids had the whole Inn to themselves. And the grounds. We had the rehearsal dinner there and the food was outstanding. They chose the clam bake and they accommodated those who don’t care for seafood by offering steak. Lobster and steamers, corn on the cob and corn bread. The day of the wedding we had the whole place to ourselves. We had hair and makeup experts come insight and my daughter got ready with all of us in a private suite. It was so well done and planned.
The ceremony took place by the pool. They have an arbor that we had a beautiful floral arrangement on. It was intimate, beautiful and very private.
We had a cocktail hour with hors deurves of lamb, clams casino and chicken artichoke crustini. Wonderful!
The reception took place in the tent in front of the Inn and there was plenty of space for the 108 guests we had. The food, prepared by Treats catering, was excellent. We had an open bar for both the rehearsal dinner and the reception and the cost was very reasonable.
The reception was followed by dancing inside the Inn. It was a great time and we literally danced the night away!
We highly recommend the Dennis Inn for any function.

Cathy and Brad run an amazing event! Our wedding was flawless-​no stress and all the staff was fantastic! From the snowy visit to see The Dennis Inn to our 75 degree August wedding day-​we couldn’t have asked for more. The charm of the Inn, the warmth of the staff and who can’t say no to lobster and steamers for our meal… yes I wore a bib and broke the lobster with my hands… I am from the area and it was WORTH IT :) The staff layered me with napkins… too funny!
We wed prior to the recent (and beautiful) renovations but even then, the place truly felt like a home and being able to walk upstairs with friends after the wedding-​sit and share stories etc. AWESOME! Oh-​and Cathy even brought us some fresh baked cookies the 1^st night we checked in-​nice addition to our kitchen and welcoming for our wedding weekend ahead!

We had our wedding there in October and will continue to use The Dennis Inn for all of our functions. The new owners are amazing and have kept the Inn running just as smooth as Brad & Cathy did. Amazing food, great service, beautiful property. What more could you ask for?

I got married at the Dennis Inn on July 5^th of this year. I called in February and was so fortunate to be able to book the Inn.
A hurricane swept through Cape Cod on July 4^th and I was extremely nervous that my wedding might be effected. Fortunately, there were no signs of a hurricane at the Inn — no branches down — the grounds and pool were beautiful — it was like the hurricane never took place. I could not have been happier with the venue, food, service, vendors and most of all Brad and Kathy.
They gave us their time and attention, and because they have a one event a day policy, you never risk running over, being rushed, or being stuck in a specific time slot.
This place is a gem. If you have always wanted a Cape Cod wedding but felt the prices would be outrageous, check out the Dennis Inn. Brad and Kathy will work with you to give you the wedding of your dreams with a price that will work with your budget.

Just called to inquire about having my rehearsal dinner at the Inn next June. The person I spoke with couldn’t have been more rude. All I got was no. When asked for a reason they asked what day, I told them and then «is that a Friday, if so we’re booked». Nice way to treat a potential customer with $$ to spend. There is no excuse for rudeness.

My husband and I had our reception at the Dennis Inn on 9÷9÷12. Living in LA, my parents, (from NY,) searched for our perfect venue, and my mom knew she found it the minute she walked in the front door and met Brad. Brad and Cathy were incredibly responsive and easy to work with. It rained the day of wedding, putting a bit of a damper on our plan to get married on Crosby Beach. Brad kept in touch throughout the morning and assured me he could have the Inn ready for an indoor ceremony with minimal notice, (we had 50 guests.) We wound up taking our chances on the beach and got lucky with a break in the weather. When we got to the Inn, everything was perfect. I had 4 cousins leaving very early, and Brad and Cathy made sure they got a full plated meal from our buffet selections during the cocktail hour. All the food was amazing, but my guests couldn’t stop talking about the bacon-​wrapped new potatoes with sour cream and chives, the wild mushroom risotto and the baked cod with lobster sauce. Jordana, the bartender/​lead made sure to box up a big meal for my husband and I because we were so busy and nervous, we didn’t get a chance to eat. Oh! The lobster cheesecake! Amazing! They even made it super easy for my DJ to set up early so he could play music at the beach and for my mom’s best friend to come in and do set-​up. I can’t say enough good things about the Dennis Inn/Treat’s Catering, and all their staff.
PS: They do large weddings in a tent on the front lawn and catering to other venues. You should definitely call them when you’re planning your wedding!

I got married at The Dennis Inn this summer and I have to say it was as good as it gets. The owners, Cathy & Brad, are true professionals who worked with us to customize all of the details to make our day perfect. The site fee (for the weekend) was beyond reasonable. The price per plate was very fair, considering how much food was served and how delicious it was.
I would recommend them in a heartbeat. For example, instead of a Champaign Toast, we asked if we could do a «Milk & Cookie Toast» and Cathy was very supportive of that idea. They were very understanding and sensitive to certain food allergies, which is all you ask.
One of the best parts was that we were able to rent out The Dennis Inn for the weekend (Friday, Saturday, Sunday morning). Our bridal party stayed with us the whole weekend which made it that much more fun. We got there Friday morning and set up all of the tables and decorations so that we could relax on Saturday. They also had free internet which was great for all those last minute details (where’s the Dunkin Donuts?)
We also had our Rehearsal Dinner here outdoors by the pool. It was perfect. The food was so delicious and there was plenty of it. The Mandarin Salad was beyond amazing. Cathy suggested that we rehearse the ceremony at 5pm (the same time as the real ceremony the following day) so that we could see how the lighting would be and make any adjustments as necessary. It was little tips like that along the way that really made our ceremony & reception stand out.
On Saturday morning we invited some of our guests to enjoy the pool at The Dennis Inn — they really loved that! The venue was the perfect size for our wedding (70 people) and our guests loved it. It is very welcoming and all of the architectural details are beautiful. We got married in the back yard of The Dennis Inn, in front of the beautiful blooming hydrangeas and the white arbor.
I can’t say enough how outstanding the staff were. They were able to anticipate anything that needed to happen, and they just did it quickly and quietly. For example, the staff actually helped to coordinate the timing of the wedding with the entrances and the music. It really helped to calm everybody down and be able to just enjoy the moment.
Another example was when we finished our ceremony and were out front taking photos and all of a sudden a ton of bugs decided to fly around my dress. The top few layers were all organza and the bugs were getting stuck! The Bartender (whose name I don’t remember) immediately ran back and came flying out with bug spray! It was a lifesaver!
Tons of people have come up to us and told us that our wedding was one of the best they had ever been to. Our guests are still talking about the sliders during cocktail hour and the bbq chicken and steak tips. I can’t thank The Dennis Inn enough!

I cannot say enough about The Dennis Inn. We had our wedding ceremony and reception there this past weekend and from the time we first visited it in December until the moment we checked out on Sunday, we could not have imagined a better venue or better service. The setting is beautiful but relaxed and comfortable without an ounce of pretentiousness. Brad and Cathy are genuinely such nice people, so easy to work with and laid back, yet responsive any time we had questions. They absolutely cater to your specific requests and are so accommodating to help you make your day special. Our ceremony was in the back yard and just enough chairs were arranged for our guests so it created a very intimate feel (we had 114 guests). For our reception, since we were doing a Cape/​beach themed wedding, we opted to use their centerpieces of sand, shells and starfish with candles and any other general supplies we needed were provided at no extra charge. There were no hidden fees and the bar bill was right in the range that they told us it would likely be. We opted for the deluxe package, which included full exclusive use of the Inn from Friday morning through Sunday. The suite upstairs is so nice, very comfortable and a great place to enjoy some time with your girls and get hair & make-​up done for the big day. If you can, take advantage of this option, it is totally worth it!!!
In addition to the five star service of Brad, Cathy and all the staff of the Dennis Inn, the food is phenomenal! We had the pleasure of attending the open house that they held in February for all booked couples and tasted a lot of the food. It was all so good, we had a hard time deciding which passed hors d’oeuvres we wanted for our day. But we sat down with Cathy, who had great suggestions, and came up with a menu that we loved! We got so many compliments from friends and family about the food and yes, even WE ate — A LOT! We had ordered cupcakes from a bakery for our cake, but had also selected the warm chocolate chip cookies that came with the meal charge and had them handed out about 10:30. Guests were thrilled and were raving about them the next day. Speaking of the next day, we wanted to do a simple continental brunch to say goodbye to our guests and thank them so they put together a fantastic spread of fresh pastries, bagels and fresh fruit poolside. It was just as delicious as all of the other food and the setting was perfect! They also used our flowers from the night before to decorate the tables, which was a great touch! All in all, I highly, highly recommend The Dennis Inn for your upcoming wedding. The setting is charming, relaxing and comfortable, the staff all incredibly friendly and accommodating and the food is top notch. I hope that someone I know gets married there in the future so I can go back as a guest!

Treat yourself and your guests to a delightful wedding at the Dennis Inn. My daughter got married here last weekend and it was perfect. The wedding party took over the top floor of the Dennis Inn and they were able to relax and have fun over the entire wedding weekend. Kathy did an amazing job with the food for both the rehearsal dinner and the wedding! There were a number of small items we forgot and Kathy stepped in like a friendly aunt to help out. The whole weekend was just so much fun! Thank you Kathy and the team from the Dennis Inn!

Having our wedding at the Dennis Inn was one of the best decisions we made. Brad and Cathy were so terrific to work with. They made the whole process easy and stress free. Above all they are incredibly nice people! Their positive attitude rubbed off on the entire experience in a great way. The upstairs suite where we stayed was spacious and well appointed. It couldn’t have worked out better. The food was delicious and just what we had hoped for. Brad and Cathy take a lot of pride in The Inn and their commitment shined for our wedding. We highly recommend the Dennis Inn and are so happy that we chose to have our wedding here.

The food is incredible. So much better than any other wedding I’ve attended. We were treated to many fresh, local ingredients, all elegantly prepared and delicious.
I can’t say enough about the entire experience at the Dennis Inn. The location and Inn are gorgeous, and it lent itself perfectly to our wedding. Guests were wowed by the beautiful spot; professional yet caring staff members; scrumptious food; and ultimately that it was a wonderful place for a celebration and party!
I would, and do, recommend the Dennis Inn to everyone. If for no other reason that I’d love to go back again as a guest!

Can I give them ten stars?! I can’t imagine a better wedding venue — it was perfect in my estimation.
We were married here last September, and it was such a wonderful place to have a wedding reception. The food was fantastic, the atmosphere was totally relaxed, yet classy and beautiful. Brad and Cathy were very easy to work with. They took care of all the little last minute details we forgot, and they and their staff went out of their way to make sure everyone enjoyed themselves. At the end of the weekend, we really didn’t want to leave.

This place is the real deal in terms of venues. Got married here this past weekend and everything was absolutely perfect.
By far the best element of the Dennis Inn (DI) is the service. Brad and Cathy are easy and fun to work with… and incredibly accommodating. Their staff was on top of everything. They were not just attentive to us, but to our guests as well. Everything that we asked for (things to be displayed a certain way, or for songs to be played at a certain time) were done flawlessly. And these guys are fun too… we spent time after the event hanging with them and everyone was very pleasant.
The food… is f-​ing phenomemal. It’s by far the best wedding food I have ever had. Friday night we had steak tips, swordfish kabobs (yum!) and the homemade veggie burgers (which we asked Cathy to make specially for the rehearsal dinner) were wonderful… full of flavor (a little kick) and very filling.
It was an honor and a pleasure working with the DI. I highly recommend checking this out for your next event.
