Just had a very basic pant hem done but she did a fantastic job. Will continue to bring my clothing here for basic alterations.

She is wonderful! I had my dress for my sister’s wedding altered there last fall. The top of the dress was too big. She tried to figure out the best way to do it and the only way she could was to take the whole top apart at the seams and put all back together. It came out beautifully and the price was very fair.

Late review from May. Last minute alterations to my daughter’s prom dress and they were able to get them done. Very nice and easy to work with!

She did an amazing job tailoring a very structured/​complex dress from a size 8 down to a size 2. The dress was completed earlier than I asked for it and she asked a reasonable price given the amount of work. I have a feeling that she’s on the higher price range for simpler projects, based on what I heard from other customers in the store– but she’s great for more difficult items or projects such as bridesmaid, prom, or wedding dresses.

Walked in to see if they could take a look at a small tear on the seam of the pocket of my pants and the lady wouldn’t even turn around and talk to me. She just kept saying I’m too busy, too busy to help you. Glad business is good because you’ll never get mine.

I’ve been to A+ Tailoring about 3 times now and have been happy with my experience all 3 times. The lady is hilarious and really nice. She is very helpful and is not interested in ripping you off. She wants your clothes to fit plain and simple. She has helped me out with a couple things for suits and done a great job.
Definitely great tailor and would recommend to others.

I experienced rude service at A+ Tailor. The lady was unwilling to alter worn jeans. Also, I had a bridesmaid dress that needed minimal adjustments and she said the lead time would be 2 months. I decided to go to Wichita’s Alterations and they were able to turn both alterations in one week. I will not go back to A+ Tailor!

They will get my repeat business! I took three pair of speciality jeans and wanted the original hem. The seamstress did an awesome job. You would never know I had them altered and at a reasonable price.

I was so impressed with this business today! The owner was so kind and patient with me, and knowledgable about the style of all of my clothes. I am petite and have to get many clothes tailored to fit correctly, so I brought in a work skirt and some shirts. She is very outgoing and made me feel so comfortable, and knew exactly what to do to make my clothes fit just right and work together. She even told me how to care for the clothes after and recommended a specific dry cleaners that would correctly clean my skirts for me so they wouldn’t shrink! I will always use her from now on!

The seamstress is pleasant and professional. Her price to hem jeans (without specialty stitching) is $ 13, which I find to be very reasonable.

Not cheap, but done right.
I have had jackets taken in a full size and they look like new. The quality of the work is unsurpassed. Time is taken to measure *properly* what needs to be done for alterations. After purchasing a suit, the in-​house tailor measured one arm and said «usually making each sleeve the same length is about right.» My arms (and most people’s) are not the same length, and «about right» is not «right.» A+ does NOT cut corners like that. Each alteration is measured and pinned so you can see how it will look *before* paying to get it done. If it will look bad, the tailor will tell you; she has steady business and wants to do it right rather than just do more.
A+ is likely to be a little more expensive than the seamstress at the local dry cleaner, but its worth it. Even simple pant hems are superior. With non-​cuffed bottoms, not only can you not see the stitching on the outside, but also the stitching on the inside *looks* professionally done and of high quality. I had A+ hem the new tux pants that I bought; the satin stripe was taken apart and individually stitched on the inside to hold it in place in the hem. I looked at the old pants (tailored elsewhere) and it looked like a person in a hurry had just zipped over the whole thing hastily with a sewing machine.
Turn around time is flexible, though there is usually a queue. Don’t wait until the last minute.

Really reasonable rates and she’s really quick. Dillards recommended that I take my suit to her, and Sung had it done in a few days — which is saying a lot, considering that I bought the suit on clearance and she basically had to make me a tailor-​made suit out of the original. Dillards says that they send all their customers to her and she even gave me 20% off. Can’t say enough good things about A+ tailor.
Oh, just a note, this is the A+ tailor across the street from the mall and next door to the Eyemasters. I accidentally took it to the other A+ Tailor (one that was inside a dry cleaners) — but the guy was so rude and the place was dirty and cramped. A lot of people think that it’s owned by the same people, but they’re owned by completely separate people and have no affiliation.
