Established in 1990.

Bill DeBerry, Sr. has been evolved in the funeral industry in Denton since 1958 and still is very active in the business. His son Bill DeBerry, Jr. has been active in the funeral industry in Denton since 1983. Together Bill and Bill Jr. opened Bill DeBerry Funeral Directors in 1990. In the last few years Andrew DeBerry (Bill Sr.‘s youngest son) has joined the family business along with his son, Justin DeBerry brining in three generations in to the family business.

My father used DeBerry when my grandfather died in the 80’s. When my brother died in 2009, Mr DeBerry senior remembered my parents and was very kind and thoughtful towards us, as was everyone else there. We also used them when my mom died in 2011. Both times, we needed special caskets due to size issues, and they helped us without trying to pressure us toward higher priced choices. They were honest and open about what they thought we needed and didn’t need. Don’t want to use them again, but will when the time comes.

This is the 3rd time my family has used DeBerry funeral home. 13 years ago, 4 years ago and right now. They have always been very gracious, kind, and professional. They have helped guide us toward everything that we need to do for a proper burial of loved ones. I am grateful for all their staff. Over the past 14 years that we’ve worked with DeBerry, we have always been pleased with the compassion and understanding. Thank you for all that you do, all that you’ve done for the Denton community.
