Courthouse Collection

There’s a lady by deduction I figured she was the mother of the owner of the store. This lady is mad rude, as soon as I stepped into de store you could feel the bad vibe she exuded. She asked me if I needed help looking me up and down I replied no I was just browsing for a present and she proceeded to follow me around the whole store as if I was gonna steal something. Every time I looked up she was there looking at me. I asked her if she needed something to what she replied she wasn’t talking to me to keep shopping… Seriously lady?!? I ignored her and proceeded to the back of the store which is ridiculously filthy and she followed me to the back asking what I had found and took the stuff I had grabbed away from my hands. At this point I wasn’t gonna put up with it and I left everything I had grabbed for presents and left the store. Lady you are ridiculous and instead of following people around get a swiffer and clean the store. I was there to buy with my money that I earn in my job not to steal cause I’m very decent and no hooligan. Needless to say that this is the first and last time I go into that store or would recommend this place to anyone.

A great place for mom! This cute store has a variety of items you can buy from clothes and accessories to kitchen ware and food; it’s great. The employees are sweet and I definitely will come back again!

The Courthouse Collection on the square in Denton is exactly the kind of store I love. So many things to look at and talk yourself into buying. The front room of the store was full of Christmas ornaments, candles, hand creams, jewelry, etc. The second room was full of ladies apparel including some very festive sparkly Christmas shirts that were 25% off (should have looked at the price tag before I decided to buy that shirt though since it was $ 50 AFTER the discount! Holy shit!)And they had some really fun sparkly belts.
But the most excitement for me was the back room which is deemed the Country Kitchen on the receipt anyway. There’s a full kitchen back there and a lady making samples of food! Yes please, I’ll have some of THAT! She had various cheeseballs back there made with mixes that you can buy if you like them. I liked very much and bought three of these mixes. Who doesn’t love cheesy balls? They also had unique coffee flavors (like blueberry!?), jellies (I got the jalapeño jelly), spiced rum and mulled wine mixes, etc and so forth. Everything looked awesome! They also had cooking utensils and pans back there as well. It was awesome!
