Loop 288 Shell Sta

Why someone calls this Loop 288 Shell gas station is beyond me. It is a Travel Centers of America travel center and full service truckstop with Valero branded gas for cars. It was born about 45 years ago as one of the as we called Union 76 Orange Balls. It has seen many changes through years. Some good, some bad but near Dallas Fort Worth area a SAFE place to stop. It has as of this posting still Bonnie’s Kitchen full serve café. Taco Bell and Pizza Hut express removed in ¹¹⁄₂₀₁₅. Replaced with a Florida based franchise Perky’s Pizza and Naughty Chile. Really good. Stil utilizes the former kitchen equipment. A chicken place similar to Chester Chicken coming soon. A bus stop is also in here now too. Eating places are 6 – 11 now. TA travel store has lots of food choices and selection of lots also. Showers not bad still place I will frequent when heading to Dallas area on I35 from Oklahoma.
