History
Established in 1975.
The 11th Avenue Hotel and Hostel was built in 1904 on the edge of town when Denver was still just a small speck on the map.
As Denver grew, the cable car line was installed right outside the hotel and brought in a slew of new travelers. Things continued to grow and advance in Denver and the 11th Avenue Hotel (as it was called at the time) saw immense success. The hotel changed hands many times in the last 100+ years, but always remained in sync with the heart of Denver.
Fast forward to present day and the 11th Avenue Hotel and Hostel still remains and operates in the heart of Denver. We are within one block of the Denver Art Museum, Colorado History Museum, Colorado State Capitol, Civic Center Park and many other attractions. Our hotel is within walking distance of enough restaurants, pubs, stores and museums to keep you busy for your entire stay.
