AfterOurs Urgent Care

This is the worst case of customer service I have ever seen. Opened at 8am but the person who registers patients is missing in action and they have no way of contacting that person so the lady who is doing nothing at the front desk nor the physician can help anyone. How can this be??? You don’t know how to contact an employee? What the hell is wrong with common sense?

I went here for the first time last week after I had a fall. I had to call twice because I could not find the office– it is on the second floor across from Comfort Dental and does not have a visibly illuminated sign. While I was there the staff were nice except for expecting me to sign paperwork with what I thought might be a broken arm which was causing me significant pain.
I had X-​Rays taken of my arm and a little while later was told I had no broken bones and should ice, elevate and take ibuprofen. I was told that I could buy myself a sling at Walgreen’s if I wanted one. I remarked that I was surprised by the amount of pain that there was no break.
FOUR DAYS LATER I receive a phone call saying I have a fracture and should not be using my arm.
Unbelievable.

Place is fantastic if you are really into waiting. Clearly massively understaffed. The folks who are working aren’t super worried about moving people through. When you’re sick, spending two hours (and counting) in a lobby isn’t how you want to spend your time.
Tldr; clown show

They say they’re open till 11pm. Get here at 10:35 and they are closed and sent their providers home.

Showed up 10 minutes before they closed with a soft tissue injury and they refused treatment because the doctor wanted to go home early. Could not afford ER, so Had to deal with pain all night long. Will never go back. Do not recommend.

Saw the ‘physician’ who is actually a PA. He told my wife there was little he could do about her headache due to her being pregnant.
Two weeks later we get a bill. It says ‘New Patient Level 3′ with a total of $ 232.
Don’t know what a Level 3 is? Neither did we. They don’t tell you, they just bill you. But the bill seemed high to me, even after adjustments and insurance paying. I found out a Level 3 is when there is a serious intervention such as stiches or other treatment.
SO we attempt to call billing. Good luck, they give you the runaround and then won’t ever return your calls in the future. I had to make a serious stink to get someone to call me back.
I finally got a hold of the CEO, who had to explain to me the way they bill. He was straightforward with me, but be wary of these after hours clinics, it seems to be a business that is so complicated, there is no way to know what kind of billing you will receive. My advice. wait for the Docs office to open on Monday if you can. Stay faaaar away from this scandalous new emergency care industry.

These guys have saved my butt several times. I always end up having some sort of ailment or injury on weekends or after 5 pm, and I am so thankful to have After Hours so close by. They are always nice and take great care of me. Thanks!

We called ahead to see how long the wait was and were told only 1 person was waiting and we would be seen right away. It took them 2 hours to see us. Too long!

I called to see if I could come in late on a Wednesday. The customer service representative said she would call the office and let them know I would be coming. I was in and out in 30 minutes! They called in my Rx so it was waiting for me when I arrived at the pharmacy. Then, days later, the urgent care office called to follow up with me to see how I was doing. Great customer service from start to finish!

As far as fast healthcare goes these guys rock. My longest wait was me doing the paperwork. It was wonderful! The students were very professional, the provider was amazing and all the girls at the front desk were so funny and kind. They helped me with a 24 hour pharmacy and were very efficient.

I really can’t figure out why the bad reviews, as everyone, including the receptionists and nurses, were absolutely wonderful. Everyone was extremely attentive, patient and empathic. Would definitely recommend to anyone needing urgent care.

I had a pleasant experience, in and out with the provider being so sweet and answering all my questions. Great fast and friendly place to get seen. Jessica was so helpful with everything also ***** loved the fast and friendly staff… I would highly recommend this location to any one, that needs urgent care.

The doctors are excellent. The two star is for the people who work up front. They are the dumbest humans I have ever seen. Should you need to go here I wish you luck with these clowns

First thing: The staff were very friendly and very quick with taking my information. Nicole and the student she was training were awesome! Dr. Corey Siebe, I think he’s an MD was very proficient with helping me with my situation. Overall I was in and out within 30 – 45 minutes. Thank you everyone at AfterOurs.

I was dubious after finding their ratings on Mac Maps app and not finding them on
, but I was pleasantly surprised and will recommend this place for urgent care. Front desk staff was able to multitask without being rude, persisted in finding my out of state health insurance provider after two fails, and despite the distraction forced on the entire medical care community to enter every last detail into a clunky electronic data system, managed to look me in the eyes once in a while and work diligently until I was called in reasonably quickly to attend to my needs. The med student who took my vitals was pleasant and professional, and the doctor was empathetic, knowledge sharing and confidence inspiring.

I’m going to give this place a 2 solely based on the front staff. The doctor on call was beyond caring now and thorough. Although it was a bit of a wait time, that’s to be expected when visiting an urgent care. But the lady at the front desk was beyond unprofessional. She was constantly yapping about her place of work and how terrible they were to work for. All she did was complain the ENTIRE time and then she was on her phone talking about snapchat loud enough for the whole room to hear. Especially when people are in pain or not feeling well, this is a great way to leave patients pissed and upset. I highly recommend some changes in staff.

I wanted to give this place the benefit of the doubt, but sadly I was disappointed more than once with my experience here. When I arrived there was only one person in front of me so I didn’t think it would take very long. However, I was there for over an hour and a half for an issue that got me about 1.5 minutes with the doctor. Had they been busier I would have understood it, but the staff was often just chit chatting back by my room instead of taking care of business which was a stressor.
After I got my prescription, it wasn’t sent to the pharmacy directly which was a bit frustrating so it took me two days to have time to get to place to have the prescription filled. Then the pharmacy couldn’t fill the prescription because my birthday was written down wrong, the doctor’s name was illegible, the prescription was not for the right dose or number of days, and the prescribing number wasn’t registered in the state system. I tried to call but the place doesn’t open until 5 and they have no one answering the phone during regular business hours which is hard when there is an issue with the pharmacy. This is where it got bad enough for me to write a review, because this made the situation even more drawn out.
That said the staff was very nice, but it just isn’t cutting the poor customer service and follow through.

I had the worst migraine I ever experienced the other night, and with the advice from the doctor’s office, went in to get something prescribed for the pain. The PA was extremely unsympathetic, rude, and treated me as if I were a complete dummy or just trying to get my hands on some pills.

I hesitate to leave a review for a medical facility since I obviously have no medical training and couldn’t tell one way or another if they did things right.
But! Here’s what I do know. Their website and what I was told on the phone about their hours conflicted. The exam room felt small and dim and cramped. I had to pee in a cup (fun!) and I didn’t really good instructions for like… am I supposed to write my name on this cup? Where am I supposed to put it when I’m done? The bathroom counter needed a wipe down, and I just overall didn’t feel awesome.
Then again, I didn’t feel awesome in general. Which is why I was there!
