All Copy Products

We have worked with All Copy for years, 2 different installations. Both ended in disaster, service department is less than acceptable, employees seem very unhappy. The majority of our business went to Pro Copy. Huge difference in the companies, I would never recommend All Copy Products.

Very ethical company and customer service oriented. I couldn’t disagree more with these other 2 reviews. Been with them for 15 years and love them!

THE WORST COMPANY TO WORK WITH EVER. Do not depend on them to help your own business. When their IT can’t figure out a solution to a problem, for example not being able to scan documents to your computer without turning off the firewall, they suggest simply leaving your computer exposed to viruses and leaving the firewall off. It is astonishing to me that they are still in business; there business practices are criminal. I wish I could give them negative stars.

Unethical representation of contract buy-​out terms. Contracts are onerous and excessive — terms and conditions are inconsistent based on spend and relationships.

Out of all my experiences with businesses this was by far the worst experience my company has ever had. The management at All Copy Products was interested in extracting as much money out of us as possible. If we had the resources to take legal action we would immediately.
It all started when we were assigned a woman named Jamie to help us decide what printer would best meet our needs. Jamie seemed to have expert knowledge of her products and sold us a machine that would supposedly work for our business (we needed a machine that could duplex print on card stock as well as print on 11X17 paper). After we paid the $ 860 deposit and received the machine we found out that it could not support our needs. By this time Jamie had already left the company and we were assigned a new manager named Alex. Our business was in full swing and we could not afford spending the time to fix this mistake so we felt pressured to work with what we had, under the impression that as soon as the season ended we would be made whole again.
We were wrong. Alex offered us a different machine for a substantial price increase, which we were forced to refuse. This is where I made the biggest mistake in business to date — I didn’t turn and run! I decided that the $ 860 deposit was worth dealing with All Copy until our lease was over. Even though I felt that they broke the contract I did not feel that we had the resources to take them to court. We felt trapped, and the management at All Copy did not care in the slightest.
Then there was the accounting problems! Every few months we would receive a bill that made our hearts stop, only to find out that All Copy had an incompetent accounting department. On several occasions I was forced to email them copies of checks that they had already cashed to prove my payments. They never minded imposing these costs on us.
Months went by and we used their machine and paid every bill, swallowing the internal costs of having to work around their mistakes. After we had invested a few thousand dollars into their company it felt like a good time to renegotiate with them. I talked to a member of upper management named Dean. We had a very emotional conversation where I attempted to share our customer experience with him. He continued to ask me the same questions even though I felt like I had answered him. To be specific, he would ask «how do you feel we have violated the contract» and «which line in the contract was being violated». I would tell him about the initial manager who duped us, the internal costs we had to occur due to their accounting mistakes, the inaccurate maintenance guarantee, and our overall dissatisfaction with his company. He would repeat his questions, belittling me and making fun of my issues. Let me back up for a second. At the time of this conversation All Copy had sent us (yet again) another Bill that did not reflect reality. They claimed that we owed several payments when we were in fact up to date besides the most recent payment (which we intended to pay as soon as the bill was updated). Dean promised me that if I sent him copies of the check stubs that his company had already cashed he would adjust our bill. I sent these check stubs to his accounting department and never heard back from him. While we were waiting for our revised bill we received a call from a collection agency claiming that we owed $ 9,000 to All Copy, which is nearly 4 times the market value of the machine we were using! Dean lied to me and never upheld his end of the bargain. Now we are being pursued by a collection agency and this is the last thing we need as a new small business. We have built dozens of healthy relationships with other businesses and we know that we are in the right in this situation.
If you are looking for an ethical company to deal with, avoid this company at all costs. I hope my story will save you the headache and heartache that is All Copy Products. Best of luck to you.
