Everything started out ok. I got my wedding dress cheaper than I would have at another shop I had previously been to. If you buy you’re wedding dress with Amanda’s you get discounts on bridesmaid’s dresses and accessories, which is great.
Where it all started to go downhill was when my maid of honor got her dress altered. The bust was too big and the straps needed to be shortened. The seamstress did a quick and sloppy fix by sewing cups in. The cups were in the wrong spot and just looked ridiculous. We asked them to cut out the cups and take in the bust. The next time my maid of honor went in, the seamstress was 20 minutes late and didn’t even care that she was tardy. Also the dress was wrinkly and dirty. When asked if the seamstress noticed the dress was dirty she didn’t apologize or offer to clean it. We expressed our concerns to the manager and all she did was have the dress steamed and cleaned. I was going to have my wedding dress altered her, but they lost my business. YOU’D THINK AFTER PURCHASING FOUR DRESSES WITH THIS PLACE THEY COULD OFFER BETTER CUSTOMER SERVICE THAN THAT.

The staff was incredibly helpful and wasn’t pushy at all. I didn’t feel rushed and I did feel like the staff focused on our needs. My wife and I both bought gowns there, and the staff was professional about us being together. The staff remembered us and said hi and checked in on our lives every time we came back (for alterations, pick up, etc). I highly recommend Amanda’s for a great overall dress shopping experience.

I came to Amanda’s the day after thinking that I found «the» dress, but wanting to be a responsible shopper decided it would be a good idea to try another place before pulling the trigger. Let me start out by saying that both me and my bank account are so happy that I did.
I had the pleasure of working with Heather and I absolutely could not have been paired with someone more perfect. She was super thoughtful, helpful, knowledgeable and extremely supportive given that I had a moment on the pedestal not feeling particularly great about my body. Heather reassured me and helped me find a dress that complimented every curve.
Not only would I recommend Amanda’s but I would highly encourage you to specifically request an appointment with Heather. She is amazing! And Heather if you read this thank you from the bottom of my heart, your kind words were exactly what I needed last Friday!

I went here to get my bridesmaid’s dress for Shea S and Kim B’s. wedding and I’m so glad Kim picked this place. The prices were very reasonable and the staff was friendly and accommodating with each visit. The alterations were also really affordable, considering how much she had to take in/​lop off to get it to fit me (I don’t have giant shoulders like apparently the rest of the women in the world do and I’m not 7 feet tall, which is what I believe is who the dress was designed for: a giantess).
Yes, it’s smaller than a giant warehouse retailer, but I think they really up the customer service game, and when you’re trying on gowns, that’s really what matters.

I came into Amanda’s to shop for a wedding dress after coming in last year as a bridesmaid. Both shopping experiences were great! No pressure, friendly staff, reasonable selection and prices… My consultant Brittany was very sweet and really listened to what I liked and disliked, and pulled dresses accordingly. Then she pulled a couple just for fun, because how many times do you get to try on wedding dresses? The whole shopping experience was fun and stress free and not at all what I was prepared for! All in all a great experience!

The service here is night and day better than David’s Bridal. I was told by many people to go to Amanda’s, so I made an appointment. They had great customer service and dresses for everyone’s price range. Although I didn’t end up getting my dress from Amanda’s, I had a great experience shopping for one there. My only complaint is that almost every dress I tried on was way too small and they didn’t have options to try on a larger size. It really doesn’t give you a good idea of what the dress would look like on you. Other than that, I would say Amanda’s is a great place to shop for your wedding dress.

I have nothing but great things to say about Amanda’s Bridal! My cousins and I showed up to my appointment with a list of Maggie Sottero (because I’m OBSESSED with Maggie) dresses that I had picked out online ahead of time. They had 2 of the 5 dresses that I picked on their racks, so my consultant, Heather, chose a few of her own off of what she noticed I liked… strapless, lace, fit & flare and sweetheart. I loved one of the ones that I had picked, but I didn’t want to stop after trying on only 2 dresses, so I moved on to the ones that Heather had chosen. One of them didn’t tickle my fancy just by looking at it on the hanger, but I gave it a go anyways… and it ended up being THE dress (Maggie Sottero-​Britannia). The look on my cousins faces just sealed the deal… Heather had found the perfect dress for me! I made an appointment for the following weekend so my Mom could see the dress while she was in town. Heather was off on that day, so Leah helped us and she was just as amazing as Heather! I had received 3 thank you/​follow-​up notes from Amanda’s Bridal within 3 months and one of them was from Heather, apologizing that she couldn’t be there for that 2^nd appointment… that was such a nice, personal touch. The customer service was wonderful from my 1^st appointment until the time I picked up my dress after alterations and steaming. Thanks for helping me find my dream dress, ladies!

Amanda’s Bridal is heaven on earth. I went to David’s Bridal before I came here, and although i should NEVER compate ANYTHING (McDonalds even) to David’s Bridal (park meadows location, if you are wondering) Amanda’s blew me out of the water.
I walked in with my bridesmaids, and was immediately greeted by Heather. She walked us around the store and explained the dress layout for us. She was very helpful and made sure we had everything we needed. She was able to accomodate 8 of us girls, and made us all feel at home.
Heather, and Desiree measured my girls, and we were in and out in an hour! It was fantastic, fast, friendly, efficient, and great prices!
Amanda’s is also able to get you a killer deal on men’s tuxes when you buy with them! All in all, it was the best experience ever. I am definetly going to keep getting all my wedding needs here! thank you Amanda’s Bridal!

Pretentiousness to the max! Yes, I am planning a short notice wedding and I understand that looking for bridesmaid dresses is going to be difficult with only 3 months but there is no need for the attitudes I received from the girls. After the little amount of guidance I received it was impossible to get anyone to help me even though there was one other customer in the store and at least 7 employees (who were just standing behind the counter talking). Very upset that I was brushed off like I was nothing. I will spend my money where they know how to respect customers.

Great experience!
I spent around 2 hours trying on dresses. When I walked in, I had a few dresses in mind, and I pulled a few off the rack. One that I pulled off the rack ended up being the one!
Lucy was great to work with, and never made me feel self conscious. So, if you are plus size like me, she is an awesome person to work with (the other employees are awesome too!) She did everything she could to make sure I felt gorgeous in everything I put on. She quickly figured out what my style was in order to pick out dresses and accessories efficiently.
Fantastic customer service all around!

I couldn’t be happier with my experience at Amanda’s Bridal. From the moment we walked in (myself and my 8 person entourage) we were welcomed with smiling faces. Heather came over and greeted us and I could tell she truly wanted to hear what I was looking for. This was the first time I was trying on wedding dresses and I felt so comfortable. My best friend and maid of honor was in the dressing room and put me in each dress so I was never uncomfortable having someone I didn’t know in the room. Heather was there waiting for me in each dress to clip and give me her honest opinion. I found my dress with the 3^rd one I put on but had to keep going– just to be sure! I had another appointment that day at a different bridal store so I had her write down my dress and told her I would let her know.
We went to the other bridal store and had an awful experience. I never once felt comfortable and didn’t find one dress that I liked. As we were leaving I decided I wanted to go back to Amanda’s just to see my dress again. Thinking I would need to make another appointment if I wanted to try it on again. I walked in and Heather welcomed us in, pulled my dress, along with a few others, and I was felt so much better. I put my dress on and I knew I wouldn’t find anything else I loved more. We were the only ones left in the store after a long day and Heather stayed late to make sure I was measured and take care of all the details in ordering my dress.
Amanda’s is the only place I will recommend to all of the future brides I talk to. We will also be going there to get the men’s tuxes. My mom and I went back last week to try on Mother of the Bride dresses with Heather and again, had the best experience. I’m sure there are other amazing ladies in the store to work with but if you get the opportunity, schedule your appointment with Heather! With all the stress and craziness that goes along with planning a wedding, Amanda’s will make finding your dress an amazing part of the process! Thank you, thank you, thank you!!!

Walked in without a dress, and out without one. I was bummed but Tina was such a big help and listened to what I was looking for. She also took the time to see if the designers had my size on their self. Great place. Will go back if I can’t find my dress elsewhere and likely for bridesmaids dresses too

I absolutely LOVE this bridal shop! We spent most the day in David’s Bridal hated it and didn’t care for any of the dresses and the lady that helped us wasn’t very helpful at all and kept leaving us. We came here to Amanda’s and had the most AMAZING experience! We found the dress we wanted in about an hour and at a very reasonable price. We also loved how large the dressing rooms are; very accommodating. The girl that helped us was Brittany and she was so very sweet, extremely helpful, attentive, and patient! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

My number was picked by my best-​friends, I was drawn to be the bridesmaid. I have been here a few times for dresses. From all the outrageously over-​priced places we looked at, this place was one of the best.
My most recent dress was $ 199, luckily something I’ll be able to wear on a different occasion. The staff here were all very friendly and attentive. They measured and sized all of us. It’s quite comical to watch all the bridezillas that are stressing out about their big day, and some get a little obnoxious to the poor staff. Please be courteous to them when in here, it’s probably stressful to be them too.

I went there with my future sister-​in-​law to try on dresses for her upcoming wedding. We were greeted with a friendly smile, given a tour, and told to pick out a few dresses that we liked. From that, we went to the dressing room and she tried on the dresses. Based on those gowns, our helper, Britney, brought in more suggestions, which we liked even more! Britney was honest and helpful and didn’t rush us at all. She was also extremely knowledgable on the products — she knew the various laces, construction styles, and color options. We didn’t end up buying, as it was the first place we had gone, but we will likely be returning. The gowns were high quality, well priced, and the store was expertly staffed. I would definitely recommend.

First let me start by saying that as soon as I walked in I felt so calm, it’s like I knew I would find THE ONE. Heather was my consultant and after introduced herself to me and we got to looking at dresses right away. Between Heather, my Nana and I we found about 7 dresses for me to try on. We found so many that we all liked that it was hard to narrow down our choices! Since I came into town from AZ to go dress shopping with my Nana, Heather took pictures of me in each dress. She was so patient and let me send the pictures to the important people in my life. After deciding on my top two, I tried them on with a veil, took a picture in each dress then used a collage app on my phone to put the pictures side by side. Instantly we knew which one was «THE one!» I can’t get over how great of an experience I had and how I felt 0 pressure to purchase!
Also, Since I am from out of town, they will ship the dress to me as soon as it comes in.

Compared to the nightmare that is David’s Bridal, this place is champagne and diamonds of the bridal stores. I came here looking for a bridesmaid dress. My consultant was very helpful pulling dresses and asking what I like in a dress. They have shoes and accessories to use in store to get ideas. They have a really large selection of Alfred Angelo, the designer my bride requested we wear. The private dressing rooms set up for us was nice too. I really appreciated that the curtain door closed all the way leaving no gaps for outsiders to accidentally (?) peak in.
My only negative was that there weren’t a lot of sizes to try on. Most dresses she only had one size, and luckily I fit in most of them because I’m an average size woman. But the friend with me is larger and couldn’t get most of the dresses on. If you’re only going to carry one size, make sure it’s a larger one. I did find one dress that I really liked. I may like it more than the one I picked out. But it was a size 6, and we all know bridesmaid dresses run stupid small, so I couldn’t even pull it down over my hips.
Once it’s time to order, I’ll definitely be ordering from here. They filled out a sheet with my measurements and dress info, so I should be good to go. I liked that.
One last thing. I asked for estimated pricing on alterations. She talked around and around the question. I have no idea.

The process of shopping for my wedding dress was completely pleasant. There were no tears, no frustration, no worries. Amanda’s Bridal & Tux is the sole reason for this.
I came in when I first started the planning process for my upcomming wedding. Toby was my consultant and she was amazing! I felt so welcomed and I knew I was in good hands with her. After getting my budget, my likes, and my dislikes, Toby set off and came back to my fitting room with a handful of dresses.
Their fitting rooms are HUGE which is a very important thing when trying on layers and layers of fabric. My dress ended up being the second one I tried on. I fell in love and ordered that day.
Fast forward about 5 months and my dress was in. When I went in for my first fitting, I told the seamstress what I would like done to the dress. A month later, I came back in and my dream dress was ready. I literally had on the dress I was envisioning for my wedding and I could not be happier.
Amanda’s is a true gem and I will recommend them to every person I know that is getting married. We love them so much that we are also getting our tuxes for the guys here. I can’t wait for my wedding.

We came here on a Sunday for my friend to try on some wedding dresses. My friend set up an appointment at 3pm. When we got there, it took a few minutes for them to find my friend’s appointment, and then told us to look around and that her consultant will be with us shortly. She came to us about 10 minutes later. I don’t know how it usually goes when you start wedding dress shopping, but shouldn’t the consultant introduce herself right off the bat when you arrive and tell you what to do or where to go?
The dresses were very pretty there, and I think the fabric and designs are better quality than other stores. This shows in the price though, because the dresses here were more than double the cost of the other stores my friend looked at later. Also, if you want to get a dress here, make sure to look way in advance. We were told that if my friend wanted to get a dress here, she’d have to order it within the next week for it to come in May.

I could not recommend this place more! My experience was amazing and I now have a stunning dress that came in under budget. My best friend found her dress here a few months ago and I was so impressed with her experience that I booked an appointment with the same consultant so I could have a similar experience. I just love Heather! She is so sweet, helpful and fun. She was actually the one to pick the dress I ended up buying so she really knows her stuff, plus she was so genuinely happy to help me. Seriously cannot say enough good things about her :)
Amanda’s also has a really great collection of what I think are really affordable dresses. We went to Little White Dress right before and while my consultant there was great and the place is really nice, their dresses are definitely priced higher. The selection at Amanda’s was so much better for me. They happened to be having a December deal — 10% of the cost of the dress as a gift card that can be used towards any other accessories — so my veil came out to be something like $ 35. I’ll take it! If you are in the market for a beautiful wedding dress, an affordable price and an amazing experience, go to Amanda’s and ask for Heather!
