American Family Insurance – Matthew Ditzenberger

Matthew Ditzenberger is second to none within the insurance business. I have never dealt with anyone so attentive, knowledgeable, personable, and accommodating as Matthew.
He has earned me as a customer for life. I have been insured through him since 2009 for auto and home policies, and I trust him to no end — I referred my MOTHER to him, and she has also been with him since ’09. You don’t trust any ol’ insurance man with your mom!
In my opinion, the first Unilocal review/​rating for Matthew is undeserved and a rant on AmFam rates, which are dictated by the underwriting department, and 100% beyond Matthew’s control, rather than a deserved good review of Matthew as an agent (in that reviewer’s own words, «Having an agent like Matthew is hard to beat»)
You’d be well suited to go in and have a conversation with Matthew, you’ll find his expertise and vast knowledge of the insurance industry coupled with him being among the nicest guys you’ll ever meet makes him the ideal agent to have.

So we finally made the switch over to Progressive (we’re saving almost $ 1400 a year). As far as car insurance goes, AMFam’s premiums went through the roof. The day our new policy with Progressive took effect we received a letter from AMFAM stating they’re going to raise our premiums $ 240 a year… another $ 20 a month for nothing. We hadn’t made any claims in the past and our monthly payments per month would be around $ 220 a month… I’m very happy now with Progressive paying $ 105 for the exact same coverage.
We did keep our Home Owners Insurance, they ended up being cheaper than Progressive and having an Agent like Matthew is hard to beat… so check them out for Renters or Home Owners insurance.
