Bella Bridesmaids

Planning a wedding is stressful and I was highly stressed but working with the ladies at Bella Bridesmaids was fantastic and helped alleviate some of the stress. I found a Dessy dress on Pinterest. I called and spoke with Megan she was so friendly, she found the style and we made an appointment. My sister/​maid of honor and I went in and while I knew I was interested in the Dessy dress, Megan took the time to pull dresses that were similar to give me a few options.
I had a bridesmaid in Ohio and Megan went out of her way to ensure the store there could help her with getting fitted for the dress. Another bridesmaid needed a longer dress and we were provided with the option to add to her dress. 30 days before the wedding we had to replace a bridesmaid and Megan helped with options to alter a size 0 dress to a size 4.
My Mother walked me down the aisle and we were able to find a gorgeous dress for her at Bella.
Our wedding theme was Harlem Renaissance and the ladies were so sweet. When I came in for one of my appointments they were playing Ella Fitzgerald. There was a sincere interest in our wedding and our happiness. Megan was phenomenal and made the process easy! I would highly recommend Bella Bridesmaids.

Ok, the first time you go it’s really hard to find because it’s down some stairs and if you don’t know that when you pull up to it you think you’re in the wrong place! Plan to get there early because it takes done time to find it and the appointment times are strict when they have people scheduled back-​to-​back.
I’ve been here about 5 times now to dress my 9 bridesmaids in mismatched dresses. Megan was there to help us for our first visit when I came in some vague ideas about what I wanted and she pulled dress after dress, color after color to hang up next to each other so I could see what they looked like. She helped me find a different color for all 9 that would go together beautifully. She’s been there for each appointment since then, helping each girl find a beautiful dress in their color. 3 of my maids are out of town and were able to go to Bella locations in Saint Louis, Wisconsin and Chicago. Megan has answered every email in detail and with options and proposed solutions to whatever I threw at her.
I can not say enough wonderful things about Megan. The customer service I’ve received, her taking extra time at appointments when we needed more, and coordinating all of my girls to make them feel awesome and beautiful, and the high quality of the dresses makes it totally worth the prices (compared to David’s Bridal where we looked first!) We are supplementing part of the cost for each dress to make them more affordable for my girls.
Great experience — highly recommend. Especially Megan. I didn’t work with any other staff members so I can’t speak for them. Megan was wonderful.

First off I want to thank Liz, she was such a great consultant and helped so much! She really knows her designers and certain aspects and «secrets» of all the dresses … it was really nice to work with someone and a company who takes pride in their cause. My girls all look fabulous in their dresses and I couldn’t be happier! Another thing I really liked as well is they quoted us a time for when they should be in, and they were … I could not thank Bella Bridesmaids more for such wonderful dresses and I am so excited to see it all come together on my BIG day!

The appearance and set up of the store was cute but the service left much to be desired. Struck me as unprofessional and short. Perhaps they saw no room for up-​sale since I came to try on one bridesmaid dress that our bride directed from Atlanta. The funny thing is they only had a medium. The point was to try sizes for a somewhat complex wrap dress so I knew what to order… Furthermore, I was told on the phone that if I didn’t buy from them it was a $ 20 try on fee. I ended up making the purchase bc the fee was the same as the shipping at another place, but I will keep the service in mind for the future though…

Our first appointment at Bella was as expected at any bridesmaids shop. They did have a good amount of dresses and styles to choose from but that’s about where my positivity ends. Once our dresses were ordered, the staff showed just how unprofessional they are.
First, after the consultant assured the bride that the 3 styles she chose were available in the same color, 2 bridesmaids had to change their dress style last minute because in fact, their chosen dress was not available in the same color. Strike 1.
After receiving the notice that our dresses were available about a month before the wedding, I drove down there and arrived promptly at 10 am on a Friday before the 4^th of July (a 45 minute trip for me) to find that the store was closed, with no notice in the email or on the website when I checked.
Strike 2.
And the most abysmal part of this experience was that the dress that my sister and I choose (maids of honor) showed up in a size 12… when I ordered a size 4. I didn’t notice the mistake at first so we sent pictures to the store of just how ridiculous this dress looked on me hoping they could figure out what was wrong. After I examined the tags and dress I discovered that they in fact had given me a size triple what I ordered… I was swimming in a dress when the wedding is 3 weeks away. So, the bride and myself called the store immediately to get it fixed and after they called back they assured us they will do rush delivery and it would be here on Friday midday. When she called me back she also jokingly said, «Oh, I guess we only looked at the tags on the outside ha.» Really funny. Here it is 4 pm on that same Friday and there is no sight of the dress. Let alone any professionalism from the store. I called midday to check and she said she doesn’t know why it’s not there and she would call me back when she had an answer. Well that didn’t happen, so around 330 I had to call back and see what the problem was and she said that she had not heard anything yet, but PROMISED this time she would call me back.
At 4 pm I receive a call that the dress will not be delivered today as promised. Since they are closed Sunday and Monday it looks like I will be getting my dress at the earliest Tuesday… which leaves me 18 days to expedite my alterations.
I would NEVER suggest this store to anyone. I am lenient to those who try to make it right, and Bella bridesmaids did not act like they really wanted to help fix the problem.
Customer service does not exist, and I forbid anyone I know to be involved with this business.

This was a lovely store although a bit small and in a weird location! My friends and I went to try on bridesmaids dresses last Saturday and were taken on but a darling and informative girl Autumn. Autumn made the experience exactly what it should be! She was kind, sincere, very willing to accommodate our somewhat needy demands, and very sweet! You can tell right away that she loves what she does and has an awesome sense of fashion and what looks good on every body type! I would recommend this place hands down to any others! Only drawback is we only had an hour to try on dresses but honestly, Autumn showed us immediately what fit us best when it came to style, colors, and budget-​we didn’t need more than an hour anyway!

This was a weird experience. My best friend is getting married, so we made an appointment at Bella weeks in advance. When we got there none of the employees were communicative. We awkwardly stood by one of the racks and one of the women said «sorry, there is so much going on in Denver, so we’re behind». Which does not make sense because 1) nothing is going on in Denver and 2) how would that effect an appointment-​only place? Their sample dresses were in pretty bad shape (buttons falling off, sashes torn). The girl who was supposed to be working with us seemed stressed and awkward and it took her a long time to get into it– not very enthusiastic.
Then she said we needed to make a whole other appointment to get our measurements, but she said «don’t worry, it only takes about a minute a person»… so why didn’t she just take our measurements right then? We still had time left in our session, and they made us wait 25 minutes for our appointment to start…
We will be ordering from the designers website and not from their shop.

I would actually give this store 0 stars. The most pretentious, rude, unhelpful store. The girl that helped me, Megan, was so useless. I felt rushed and utterly unimportant. I wasted my time going in there, only to be told that I would have 5 minutes to look at one style of dresses. Mind you, I had an appointment. If the appointment was supposed to only last ten minutes, I wish this would have been explained on the phone when I made the appointment. I picked out a few dresses on my own (which negated the point of me going in there – when I called they said the would help find what looked best on my body style), and when I asked to try on a different designer, she said that she would need me to give my dressing room away to another group of girls (who were already using one dressing room). I picked out one dress that I thought needed to be one size larger, she flatly said, no two sizes bigger. The entire experience left me feeling unwelcome, undervalued, and down right ugly. I will never go back, and would highly recommend that bridesmaids STAY AWAY from this store in Cherry Creek!

Completely unimpressed by the staff at Bella Bridesmaid. They were rude, unhelpful and short with us as we searched for a dress. No one took time to ask what I was looking for nor help pull more dresses as we went along. They rushed us out even though no one was there and even rolled their eyes as we tried on dresses, attempting to make a decision. Completely and utterly disappointed and unimpressed.
Would not recommend a visit here. If you want a helpful, patient and kind staff, this is not where you need to be.

The girls at Bella Bridesmaid are wonderful — seriously each one of them is so helpful! We worked with Liz, Rae Anne (owner) and Megan (manager)… and they are all equally helpful and great!
They spent a lot of time helping me find the perfect dresses for all nine of my girls (no pressure at all — I went in 3 separate times). Finally we decided on the Two Birds dresses which are fairly complicated to learn how to twist and tie and they suggested I bring in a few of my bridesmaids and my mom (two separate occasions) just so everyone would be confident in tying their own dresses and not worrying about it on our wedding day. When the dress arrived (about a month before the wedding) a few were a tad short for my taller bridesmaids and the team at the store worked together to fix the problem immediately (and reminding me not to worry they would take care of it!) and they did… dresses looked gorgeous and I never had to worry about it.
The staff is knowledgeable and friendly and they have a great selection. I have already recommended Bella Bridesmaid to several of my engaged friends and my sister who is getting married next year :).

I am so grateful to the staff at Bella Bridesmaids, who spent a long time with me to ensure that I had the perfect dresses for my bridal party. I wanted all of the girls to wear a different dress in a different color, but didn’t have the styles or colors picked out ahead of time. I was afraid they would clash horribly but was determined to find a solution that would be beautiful and unique. Unfortunately, my bridesmaids live all over the country so it is impossible for us to get together and try everything on at once.
The young woman helping me, Liz, walked around the store with me and listened to the types of things I like and dislike; then, she had me pull every dress in the store that I liked the style of (probably about 20 dresses) and put them in a pile. From that stack she somehow pulled 5 of them that went well together but that looked completely distinct at the same time. She knew the colors available for each one off the top of her head, and she even helped me choose a few alternate dresses in case the girls didn’t like one or the other. I don’t know what I would have done without her help! She was really awesome.
Since then, Rae Ann has helped me numerous times with getting the details figured out for one dress or another– she even walked around the store and looked online for a color substitute when no one in my bridal party could manage the peach color that I had planned for one of the dresses. Neither she, nor Liz, has ever rushed me or expressed impatience– they both have exceeded my expectations in every way.

I don’t normally give a bad review but this is an exception. First of all I selected Alfred Sung as my designer for the bridesmaid dresses for my wedding. I was going to have the girls order the dresses off of Weddington Way but when I looked up Alfred Sung in the Denver area I saw that Bella Bridesmaid carried them. I currently live in DC but when I was home visiting my sister and I decided to stop into Bella Bridesmaid so that I could see the color in person and feel the two different fabrics. I understand that when you go into try on dresses that it is by appointment only but I was just looking and thought it would be ok for a potential customer to come in and look. When I walked in I was made to feel totally unwelcome, my sister works at a wedding dress shop so I just used her expertise and didn’t really get any help from the women there who seemed put out and angry that we didn’t immediately turn around and walk out. My bridesmaids all made an appointment and went in and once again they informed me that the women there were really unfriendly and snotty. Several of them told the girls what size they wanted to order but these women INSISTED that they were picking too small of a size and ordered them larger sizes against their wishes. As I mentioned before my sister works in a wedding dress store and is familiar with dress measurements, she told them what size to order her and they refused, they ordered her a dress 2 sizes larger then she wanted. The dresses came in a few weeks ago and the store told them they needed to pick them up ASAP. When the girls tried them on EVERY SINGLE DRESS WAS HUGE! Not one of the girls has a dress that fits, in most cases they are 2 sizes too large. In fact one of the girls has a strapless dress and when she put it on and zipped it, it fell off her to the floor. I understand that when ordering dresses it’s better to have them be a little too big then two small but this is a case where none of the girls dresses even came close to fitting. To me this signals bad practices on the stores part. Now every one of the girls needs to have major alterations done except for one, my friend who lives in New York and ordered her dress on Weddington Way. Her dress came in on time in the right size AND she paid nearly 80 dollars less than the girls paid at the store. My recommendation is to get your bridesmaids dresses online and don’t waste your time.

I am in a friend’s wedding next March, and she and I went with another bridesmaid to try dresses on. The woman helping us was nice, and they seemed to have a large selection of dresses. The set up for trying on dresses wasn’t ideal — there were two appointments happening at the same time in their limited space. I also found it weird that my friend, who is much more petite and quite a bit shorter than I am, and I were trying on the exact same dresses. I know it’s typical to have samples, but other places we visited would have two sizes of the dress (a smaller and a larger) so that we would be able to try on dresses close to our size. Based on this experience, I don’t know that I would have it in my top places to look for dresses. For the price range of the dresses we were looking at, I expected a different experience.

A welcome staple to the Denver Bridal community!, I cannot say enough good things about Rae Ann and Bella Bridesmaid not only in Denver, but as a franchise. I ordered my 12 Bridesmaid dresses from Bella back in 2008 when I got married, but the dresses offered were so great that I ended up ordering my rehearsal dinner and two wedding shower dresses from Bella in other lines!
I have recommended them and will continue to send all of my friends, brides and event designers there. I have since been in a number of weddings and they have gone above and beyond to help out every one of my wonderful friends and brides.
Make sure to make an appointment because the adorable store is a boutique, so you do not want to be overwhelmed when there are other large groups looking for their dresses. I love that they operate by appointment only as they like to provide individualized attention.
A note to all brides that mentioned negative comments or frustration by not being able to walk-​in — PLEASE review your Peggy Post Etiquette book and remember that in the bridal world, appointments are not only encouraged, it is the way the store operates and how they can best serve you — so make an appointment, be on time and don’t be a diva… You are starting out the rest of your life, don’t you want it to be on a good foot?

I have been to the San Antonio location and loved the service I received. However, since a few of my bridesmaids live near Denver I decided to take a trip into Bella Bridesmaid with them so we could order the dresses locally. Big Mistake.
There were two other bridal parties trying on dresses in a very small room, and for some reason we were almost completely ignored the entire time. The people «helping» didn’t ask me any questions about the wedding, instead they just handed me a computer so I could fill out a questionnaire.
One of my bridesmaids is plus size (size 14 – 16). They didn’t have a single dress she could try on, it was heartbreaking. We explained this to the women after we began looking at the samples, yet 20 mins later she asked my plus sized bridesmaid «why aren’t you trying on dresses»? It was terrible and embarrassing for everyone.
When we began looking at dresses the women told us that any of the long dresses could be ordered short. One of my bridesmaid’s fell in love with a long dress, but when we asked about ordering… the women told us it didn’t come short! This happened 3 more times before we decided to just stop trying on the long ones.
The employees all acted like it was their first day, none of them could answer any questions about the dresses. I had to look in the designers order book to answer the questions I had.
Save yourself the headache, go somewhere that will treat you with respect and actually cares about their customers.

The women who own this store are quite possibly the MOST disorganized individuals I have ever had to deal with on a professional level. They lost TWO out of FIVE order forms, both containing sensitive credit card information. They also let phone calls and emails go unanswered for weeks or more, and sometimes failed to respond to questions at all! If you are looking for any kind of customer service whatsoever, DO NOT go to Bella Bridesmaids in Cherry Creek!

Working with Bella Bridesmaids manager, Megan, was without a doubt the WORST experience I had throughout my entire 6 months of wedding planning. The first time I visited, she made me feel rushed like she had more important people to help, even though I had scheduled an appointment. Shopping for dresses with my maids should be a happy and memorable experience, instead I was apologizing for Megan’s rude and snotty attitude when we left the shop. Not only were there inappropriate comments made about the different shapes and sizes of my maids, she again acted as if we weren’t worth her time.
Bella Bridesmaid was unfortunately the only store that carried the Alfred Sung dresses I wanted and was located in the cities of all of my maids. Would there have been another option, I would not have given them our business.

I still love the dresses I chose for my bridesmaids (Alfred Sung) and I’m happy Bella Bridesmaid carried a lot of his styles.
I do have to downgrade them.
All of my bridesmaids live in different cities across the country. This means they all had to order dresses separately. Apparently 3.5 months prior to the wedding is «crunch time» even though I think that is plenty of time to order a dress especially when they all have to be altered anyway.
Well a week after my Denver bridesmaid ordered her dress (after they told me how I procrastinated too long and should have ordered sooner) Bella Bridesmaid called me and asked if she wanted to place the order. UMM YES! She had already paid in full for everything. They were supposed to send in the order the day we went in! Now the dress was going to come in 8 days later than expected.
So she got her dress before the wedding, but had to rush alterations (which=$$)… why they waited 8 days to put the order in, who knows.
Also, when you call the store, no one answers. They ask you to leave a message and they call you back. So it’s an endless game of phone tag if something is wrong.

I had a terrible experience here and I would absolutely NOT recommend this shop to anyone in the market for a wedding dress/​bridesmaid dress.
I had fallen in love with the look of Saja wedding dresses online and Bella Bridesmaids happens to be the only store in Denver that I could find that carried the line. While the shop is predominiately dedicated to bridesmaids dresses, there is a small corner of the store with a selection of wedding dresses.
I made an appointment two weeks in advance for a Saturday afternoon. When I arrived at the already cramped boutique with my future sister-​in-​law, who had taken the day off of work just to accomponay me on this appointment, mind you, I found two sales women completely occupied by a large bridal party that had run over their appointment time. Without being greeted, I approached one of the women who pointed me to the corner with dresses and then left me be. I mean, she completely left me be, as in she didn’t offer to help ANY further.
After scrounging through the racks, I found a few dresses that I wanted to try on. Unfortunately, I once again had to track down someone for a fitting room and they seemed completely irritated that I had bothered them despite the fact that I made AN APPOINTMENT. We had to flag someone down each time I needed help zipping or anything. No one offered shipping or alterations information and all of my questions were addressed rudely.
It was apparent that the women «working» couldn’t have cared less about customer service. They obviously need to manage their appointments better or schedule them further apart and if for whatever reason an earlier appointment runs late or is hard to deal with, don’t take it out on your next! It was a complete waste of our afternoon and it’s unfortunate that this was the sort of treatment we received on my first outing shopping for «the dress.»

Nice addition to the Denver bridal shop scene. While I did not order my bridesmaids’ dresses from here, we did go in to check it out. It’s open by appointment only (at least, it used to be), and we did consider going with a collection that allows you to choose your fabric/​color, and each of the girls could choose their own styles– so they are coordinating but not «matchy-​matchy». I liked that a lot. The girls that worked there were nice, too, and were helpful in trying to set up appointments at other Bella locations for out-​of-​town bridesmaids to try dresses on.
I ended up getting my girls’ dresses at Anne Be, but we were actually one of their last bridesmaid dress orders before they stopped carrying them, so…
This looks to be the place to go now, so if I have a friend/​family member in the Denver area, I’ll definitely recommend this shop to them.
