Pretty damn good to watch the game. Decent prices, no complaints here. I’ll go back when I’m in town.

Come here often to watch any of the games and I’m never disappointed!!! Have tried many different items from appetizers to dinner entrees and the food is absolutely amazing!!! They have an extensive craft beer menu and numerous games and activities to keep everyone happy! The staff is always so friendly and accommodating and the service is impeccable! You can guarantee they will have your game on with so many tvs and watch party rooms! Just make sure to get here early because it’s a popular place and fills up quickly!!!

I came to Blake St today for the Broncos vs Steelers game, and it was my first time here. A group of us showed up early to grab seats for the rest of us. Fair warning for those of you who plan to do the same: you’ll want to get here early. Even showing up two hours before game time is no guarantee of getting a seat. That said, we showed up even earlier, so aside from getting a stern talking-to from one of the wait staff for spreading out too much, we were able to get most of the space we needed. Our server, Jillian, was attentive, and came by regularly to make sure we were fed and watered(or beered, if that’s a thing). Once the game started, it was crowded almost past capacity. Despite that, Jillian continued keeping the beers full and the tables cleaned. I was a bit worried that, with as many people as there were, we’d see her maybe 2 – 3 times over the course of the game. That wasn’t the case. I saw her, not quite as often as before the game, but still enough to make sure we were set up with everything we needed to enjoy ourselves. It isn’t necessarily anywhere I’d go if I were looking for a low-key night, but I’ll keep Blake St in mind whenever I’m looking for a place to watch a game.

Came here for the Patriots/chiefs AFC Divisional Playoff game. To say it was swamped is a great understatement. We still got a seat within the 45 mins they projected, and despite how slammed they were, we got decent service. Beer selection is pretty good if you’re a big fan of Colorado beers. We only had a few apps, but all were pretty good. Guac and salsa were decently flavored, but the after taste was a little over spicy without giving a heads up. TVs everywhere, great place to watch a game, but super loud, which is to be expected for an NFL playoff game.

Good atmosphere RUDE hostesses Terrible service on a mildly busy game day. Waited 25 min for 1 beer! There are too many great places to watch a game in Denver to waste your time on this place!

This is probably my favorite sports bar in Denver. First of all, the owner(s) must hail from the big ten because they love the big ten. Having graduated from Indiana, and BST specifically calling themselves an Indiana bar, that got them a lot of points right there. During the NCAAM Tournament, they section off the entire Tailgate room just for Indiana Fans. They also call themselves a Michigan State bar and give them their own rooms too for big games. I will however point out that’s not the reason I give them a good rating as a bar. It’s just a solid place all around. First off, they have plenty of TVs, so even if you want to watch an obscure sport or not so popular team, you can probably get them to turn it on one of the TVs. Also, not really a bad seat in the house for viewing. They also have pretty solid food. I used to work right next door, so I’ve actually tried a very good portion of their menu. I’m not going to go into a lot of detail here, but simply give you stuff to order if you’re worried about getting screwed ordering food at the sports bar. As far as I can tell, not really any stinkers on the menu, specifically I’m a fan of the green chili, wings, southwest egg rolls, cheese curds, nachos, steak and bleu cheese salad, Thai Ahi Tuna Salad, Black and Bleu Burger, Buffulo Chicken Wrap and Turkey Bacon Wrap. The only thing I wasn’t a huge fan of was the Caesar Wrap, and one time the quesadilla didn’t come out put together very well, but that wasn’t a huge deal. The venue itself is pretty bad ass. When you walk in you have the option to go upstairs or downstairs. Upstairs is more of the restaurant area where you can be seated, or you can go sit in the large bar area up there. The downstairs is more of the game room, and drinking area… not to say that you can’t eat there or get wild upstairs, but that just seems to be the way it goes. Anyway, this is a great choice for getting some food and watching any game you might want to see. It’s fun before Rockies games, and about two blocks from the stadium. The only thing I would put against it is that it can get pretty pricey if you’re not there for happy hour… it’s not terrible, but just ask about the deals when you get there or $ 6 – 8 drinks can add up quickly.

Great atmosphere! Strong drinks, tons of TVs, patio with fire pit(more TVs), split level, lots of space, great crowd… games, games and more games! Would love to try the food, but made it a moment too late. Will be returning soon.

This is a true SPORTS bar. Full sound, every game, basement, patio, extra random room off the side… It is totally packed on game days but they do it right. Awesome beer specials and promos. I have to say, it may have been the hangover talking, but their burgers are bomb! One thing I would say is that the wait staff isn’t always on their game, always super nice but can be pretty absent at times even when the bar isn’t full.

I’ve come here a few times and each time there’s this one employee who is always so mean — I always give people the benefit of the doubt, but the three times I’ve come in she’s been miserable. I don’t need to drop good tips on this lady ever again. And because I can’t tip bad, I just won’t go back. But the food is good, happy hour is a good deal if you eat meat. (the veggie burger is not on that deal… idk why, it’s not gourmet or anything)

Great times and great service. The best nacho’s I’ve ever had — loaded with gooey cheese at every layer. The place was packed for the Michigan State game but we still got great service from the bar. Huge place!

Great spot to watch the games. Nice patio area in back, great big first floor bar and food area and a bottom basement area that’s more bar and games focused. A lot of kickball teams finish here after.

Pretty sweet sports bar. All the games that you could ask for. Was here for something like 6 hours. Chicken tenders and fries were a good version and everyone housed on the green chile cheese fries. Drinks not very expensive. Sit downstairs.

After a day of exploring downtown Denver and sampling wonderful CO craft beer, a greasy meal was calling. I really don’t have any complaints about this place. Service was 5 star worthy but just due to the standard bar food menu, I can’t go much higher than 3.5 for food. Service was incredible and wait staff had a sense of humor. When serving our mozz sticks she exclaims«Here’s your fried cheese!» Food like I said was standard bar food done pretty well. I got the green chili(when in Denver) and ordered it spicy. Almost too spicy and it was hard to appreciate the flavors. I have no green chili to compare to though but this one has won awards! Also got the half order of nachos for good measure. Can’t complain about a delicious, large cheese covered plate of nachos. Cheese sauce tasted homemade and was quite tasty. There was also free wifi! Yay! Great bar vibe, food was done well. I understand why my Denver friends enjoy this place on the weekends.

This was my second time visiting Blake street before a Rockies game. Love the atmosphere of this restaurant it has a great pre-game atmosphere. I had the turkey, bacon wrap with avocado, lettuce, tomato all in a spinach tortilla with mixed green(Side salad) — had mushrooms, cucumbers, tomatoes, leafy lettuce, topped with a balsamic vinaigrette. The wrap was very filling and refreshing to the pallet. I really enjoy the taste of the wrap without the cheese you could taste the flavors of the rest of the ingredients more thoroughly. The wait staff was kind of attentive but never refilled drinks which we could have used other than that great place to grab a bite before a game.

Before heading to a Rockies game we decided, after much deliberation, to try this establishment. I had the Western BBQ Burger, and to my surprise it was actually quiet good, the burger patty itself was thick, juicy and meaty. the toppings were fresh and crisp and the BBQ sauce was tangy, everything about the burger was very tasty and delicious! One the other hand the fries were cold, limp and tasteless.

I love the huge space this tavern occupies. It has plenty of TV’s so you can find your football team playing on any given Sunday… or Monday… or even Thursday! They also have board games which can be a fun way to hang out with friends when you’re looking for a mellow evening. The beer selection here is on point. It is not as big as World of Beers or Yard House but it is a good selection and I’m sure you’ll find something you like. The food here isn’t bad but it’s not amazing either. It’s just good bar/pub food. This is a solid spot for game day, for sure.

Best place in the world to watch the Arizona State Sun Devils Play! They have partnered up with ASUColorado the local alumni chapter and they really make it a fun community for everyone. Even if they can’t get you into the Tailgate room or the Social with all the Sun Devils because you get there late the Blake Street staff gets TV’s by your table set to the game for you. Managers are always trying to improve the experience and want to hear if there is a challenge so they can take care of it right away. Great place for fast business lunches, before the game eats, or just grabbing one of Colorado’s kraft beers. Parking is by far better than most places in Denver.

Blake Street Tavern has been a go to spot for many years but has always been a hit or miss with the atmosphere. I think that going for a social league, sporting event, or group of friends is great. They have a ton of games like corn hole, ping pong, darts, skeeball, the list goes on. But when it isn’t packed for a football game or Play Mile High it can become a bit of a bore fest. Let me also note that is if you are looking to be around a bunch of people. The beer prices are reasonable, the happy hour is often in your favor, and the food is all your looking for in the bar food category. They have countless TV’s and play just about any game you want. One plus and minus though… they have free parking lots in downtown Denver, say what! But check if it’s a Rockies home game because if so you’ll be dinged with a $ 20 parking charge during the game if you park there!

The couple of times I have come here, the bar wasn’t too busy. We were seated right away in a booth near the bar with majority of the channels tuned to the women’s World Cup soccer game. I’ve come in both during a weekday and a weekend. They have happy hour for select drinks and appetizers during the weekday and select drinks during the weekend. We ordered mostly from the appetizer menu as we were here to just watch the game. We ordered, their wings, green chili fries, hummus veggie tray, and nachos. For a bar, their food was fairly good. It was filling but it probably would’ve tasted better if you were drunk. Service-wise, this is a bar setting so do not expect superior service but honestly when watching a game, you don’t want to be disturbed just have your drinks and appetizers be bottomless. I didn’t walk around, but from what I saw they have arcade games, a downstairs and a patio. So it’s a big bar that you could enjoy with a group of friends to drink, eat and catch a game.

Originally I wrote: «The food just isn’t good enough to wait 30 minutes for it’s arrival. Service is on par with the food.» and gave it 2 stars. But just hours after that, the owner wrote to me asking for details so he could address those issues. Very impressed! He also took the time to give me some feedback and offered a gift card(in addition to the comp’ed Pepsis that I forgot to mention in the original message.) That said, I’ve bettered my review and will admit that I’ve eaten there a few times, so the food must be pretty good. Business owners, learn from Chris: unhappy customers mostly just want to be heard and treated with respect. Usually a bad experience can be turned around with the right words. Thanks, Chris!

I enjoy Blake Street thoroughly. I used to work across the street so we always would go for lunch or happy hour. I have gone since I left that job. Miss that Flying Dog used to be brewed there. Expect bar food… but great bar food. Love the pita and hummus, California Chicken Sandwich, Burgers and Mini corn dogs… I did say corn dogs. Bloody Mary bar on the weekend is epic. They give you the booze but the rest is your job. TVs for games, shuffle board table and surprisingly cloth napkins. Service is always fantastic and staff still recognize our faces even those of us who didn’t get plaques on our bar stools. Bring a group down for your favorite game or before or after Rockies game
