Jill and Colleen are great stylists and are always having fun while doing it! I have been going to them for my regular monthly haircut for about 8 years now and my wife for 10 years and its always a great experience! Highly recommend!

When I moved to Denver a couple of years ago, I went to an Aveda salon because it was very near my home and affordable. As time went on, the price went up, $ 50 plus tip the last time I went – and I decided to look elsewhere. My daughter suggested Botticelli. I went there and had Jill cut my hair – for $ 35 – and I haven’t gone anywhere else since. Jill does an excellent job on my longish, curly and layered hair. She listens carefully to exactly what I want done each time. If you don’t need a high-​end salon look but are happy with funky professional, Botticelli is your answer.

They’re awesome. Low-​key. Not as expensive as other places within the neighborhood. Easy to schedule with and flexible. AND they have no-​ammonia hair color, are warm and kind but get it if you’re in a quiet mood, and serenade you along with the background music in a quiet, only-​slightly-​off-​key way that’s pretty endearing.

I love this place! I refuse to have my hair done anywhere else.
The girl who does my hair (Colleen) is always straight with me about what I can and cannot pull of as far as color and cut. Plus, she is super sweet and keeps me laughing the entire time.

This salon is old school meets warm chabby chic. This is a charming space with only three old fashioned barber shop chairs (two date back to the 40’s when the space was built). Time to wash your hair? No problem! They will simply swivel your barbershop chair around to a sink built in to the console. Jill, the owner, is fabulously svelte with long blond hair and a super soft-​spoken manner. Colleen did my hair and she is a great conversationalist with a decisive sensibility. I kind of gave her some general ideas then she was off and running. I loved my sassy clean cut and had her do a brow wax while I was there.
I think what I liked the most was watching all the regulars come and go and hang out on the re-​upholstered couch in the middle of the salon. It’s kind of like an impromptu cocktail party ranging across all generations. Minus the booze. And it is icing on the cake that I’m able to book online at Boticelli using

This place is absolutely spectacular! I trust my hair to no one else! Jill knows exactly how to work with my curly hair to make it curly but not ridiculous. She’s talkative, sweet, and knows how to make hair look good!
I went there a year and a half ago to chop off my super thick waist-​long hair to donate it, and I walked out even happier with my new short curly hair. It is absolutely worth the price!

When I was young (like 10 yrs old) some chick in a seattle salon decided to do some expirementing with my hair and chopped it to about 4 inches away from my skull! I was horrified being a little girly girl who now looked like a boy! I remember ordering ice cream on the peir in downtown seattle and a kid saying «I’ll have what HE’s having» I wanted to scream at him… BUT I HAVE BOOBS!!! none the less, it was something I never forgot and from then on grew my hair out. So about 3 years ago, I was watching Sex in the City re-​runs and decided I LOVED Sarah Jessica Parkers Sassy hair cut, ladies you know the short do she had after the Aiden break up and she went to work for VOGUE. Anyway, I new Jill personally through my dear friend Debra and always heard about how good of a hair stylist she was, so I decided it was time to face my hair cut fear. I went in there, feeling compfortable anyway, because I already new what a DEAR person Jill is. She was soooooo good with me, I instantly loved my new do. which we’ve changed and had fun with since, but she’s become a fixture in our family, as now my husband goes to her and my mother in law and a few friends. She did my hair for my wedding (which never fell btw) and since I consider her a dear friend it was sooo special to be with her and my family that morning. Anyway, going there really is like hanging out with your girlfriends. I love her attitude on life and the conversation is always fun… Listen Ladies, (and men) Beautiful hair doesn’t just happen, it really does need to be bought and paid for! Anyway, above all your hair will look great as you walk out on Tennyson, however your face might hurt a little from laughing so much while you were there…

The stylists were very helpful and talkative. I got a good hair cut here. My girlfriend needed a cut and they bent over backwards to help her out.
Edit: I came back for a second haircut and it was the best I’ve gotten in Denver so far.

Jill is a great stylist… always sweet and willing to work with both men and women on a friendly and professional level. I really enjoy my visits with her.
