This place is excellent! The best Brueggers I’ve been to and the best customer service. This store can get busy and often only has one guy(Gonzo!) doing everything from making your breakfast sandwiches to checking you out, and yet he does it with a smile on his face and the most polite attitude you can hope for! The line could be out the door and you wouldn’t know it. A big line never seems to rattle Gonzo! Great customer service and great food!

I guess a leopard never changes its spots. I haven’t been to this location since staff were really rude a few years ago. I normally go to Moe’s Bagels, which are way better if you like tasty authentic bagels, but I had to catch a bus and this location is catty-corner to my stop. All I needed was 2 plain bagels thrown in a bag and rung up. Nothing fancy nothing complex. The guy behind the counter was so busy trying to weigh his salmon, and continue doing whatever he was doing. And of course ignore customers other than hey I’ll be with you in «a little bit»…and ignore some more. After«a little bit» more, not wanted to miss my every-30 minutes bus, I left with no bagels. Not quite sure how this location stays in business with a consistent service and attitude issues over the years. Experiences like this also stick in my mind for any time I have friends visiting or I need something correct for a personal/work event — if you can’t get 2 bagels right, then you won’t be able to get a large order right, will you? Fair or unfair, staffed or understaffed, it’s not my problem as a customer.

I have been going to this place for more than a decade but really think that lately, the quality has gone down. I got a toasted bagel with cream cheese today and the bagel was burnt and they did not include the sprouts I requested. It makes me sad as I went out of my way to go there. The service was excellent, though, I will give them that which is the only reason why I am giving 3 stars instead of 2.

This place is amazing!!! They have a variety of fresh options all year long. Importantly, the staff is always helpful, friendly, and smiling. They seem to really care about the customer and giving them a great experience.

Bomb service have always been pleased and come here often. Love the breakfast Bagel sandwiches and the bagel bites they offer plus they throw in a free sample every know and then! Interesting to see the full set up including watching. Bagels be boiled fresh in front of you I had no idea that was a true bagel, boiled the toasted! MINDBLOWN, lol

OK, I should know better than to get a grilled cheese sandwich at a bagel shop. It was ok, but not great. The tomato soup was ok as well, but they don’t have spoons, which was ok with this soup, but. For over $ 9, it was pricey for just a sandwich and cup of soup. I“ll stick with their bagels, which are fabulous!

The good first: the food is top-notch and the shop has a cool, clean layout. The bad: How does a place like this not have a light roast at 9am? How do staff respond as if asking such a question is blasphemy?

Came in for a quick bagel with veggie cream cheese. I got the everything bagel that was fresh from the oven and very soft inside. It wasn’t overly big, which was nice — just an average size. The garden veggie cream cheese was delicious — crisp veggies in a super fresh plain cream cheese. Would definitely return!

I love Bruegger’s! I grew up in Chicago with«real» bagels(NY style) and these are true bagels. Bagel dough is first cooked in hot water which gives them a classic, smooth and chewy outer crust. So many bagels in Denver are just bread — Einsteins, for example. If it doesn’t shine — it’s not a real bagel, in my book. I can hardly resist stopping in whenever I drive by one — Plus I want to help keep them in business! Bruegger’s also has wonderful flavored cream cheeses. And remember people, cream cheese isn’t butter, so spread it on thick! IMHO!!!

My idea of a bagel. Can get crowded and hot inside there.

You call this a bagel? Please… bagels should be crusty on the outside and soft and fluffy on the inside. It’s a 2 part cooking process, but that is clearly not how they do. Also, don’t get the whipped cream cheese? I don’t need air in my cream cheese, just give me real schmear.

This is a nice place to dip into for a quick lunch. Good food and a nice seating area. My only complaint is that one time they charged me for one of those fancy juices when I order a basic Gatorade.

I spent a lot of time in a Bruegger’s in my college days. Lots of time meaning hours at a time, mostly studying organic chemistry. It was a good spot, not just because they had ample seating, but because you could have them make you a custom bagel sandwich super cheap. I always got a muenster, tomato, lettuce and sprouts on pumpernickle and enjoyed it. I recently went back, assuming this had changed(it was just too good of a deal), but I was wrong. That same sandwich is still only about $ 3. Score!

I was trying the mobile app today and it worked pretty well on the iPhone end. We ran into problems at the store end. They were running some kind of coupon deal and the place was packed. They didn’t have my order ready and after some brief confusion they got my order going. I would imagine that on any other day the app would work out well. They did give me a coupon for a free sandwich because they didn’t have mine ready. So I will post another update when I try the app again, hopefully with better results.

What I had? Turkey Chipotle Club(Turkey, peppered bacon, chipotle mayo, lettuce & tomatoes on honey wheat bread) and a dessert bar Food review: I’ve come to Bruegger’s in the past for their Cuban sandwich which was always a reliable tasty sandwich to go with. They have unfortunately taken it off their menu. YOu can still ask for it if you can find someone to make it but it’s really a shame it’s not a regular item on the menu. Anyway, enough about the Cuban sandwich. Decided to try something new with the Turkey Chipotle Club. It was ok but nothing to ride home about. Also had a dessert bar which also just ok. Service? No complaints

We came to Bruegger’s Coffee on our second day in Denver for breakfast. They have quite a nice selection of breakfast bagels and wraps. All of the bagels are baked in-store that morning. You are guaranteed a freshly baked bagel everyday. And sure they were tasty! I settled for the breakfast wrap with chicken(sorry… it was lunch time for me) and my friend chose the bagel with eggs, melted American cheese and ham. Both were nicely done. My wrap was very tasty and super spicy as it included a jalapeño spread… yum, yum! The bagel was very soft and moist. The coffee was quite good. I have to say, even better than Starbucks. The place has a lot of windows, tables and quite clean. Décor is quite nice with plenty of bright colors. Restrooms were clean although they could have used a touch up. By the way, Bruegger’s Coffee offers the«bottomless» coffee cup. For $ 119.00, receive a stainless steel Bruegger’s Coffee cup with a full year(2009) of free coffee refills. In addition, you will receive $ 40.00 worth of coupons for free food and other drinks. It is estimated that if you buy this«bottomless» cup and drink coffee once a day, 7 times a week, you will save over $ 400.00 a year! A bargain if you have one if these franchises by your neck of the woods.

Thanks to another Unilocaler, I had a great lunch today at Bruegger’s. Their bagels are kettle-cooked, which I didn’t know what that meant until I saw the Hagrid-sized pot of boiling water in the back that could have well been out of a Harry Potter movie. I tried the smoked salmon sandwich on a jalapeño cheddar bagel and the Thai peanut chicken sandwich on a honey wheat bagel; both were delicious. I even bought ½ dozen bagels and cream cheese to go. They tend to run out of some bagels by lunch time, so get there early if you want the coveted jalapeño or jalapeño cheddar bagel. There is also free Wi-Fi, so bring your laptop and camp out. Just stay away from that large pot of boiling water. 1 star off: what kind of bagel place runs out of bagels?! 1 star off: I wish their to-go bagels were pre-cut
