Builder’s Heating & Air Conditioning

These guys are reasonable and friendly. We’ve used them a few times, have been pleased with their work and haven’t felt like they’re trying to nickel and dime. Our heat went out yesterday and they were able to get someone out same day. Give them a try!

Do not buy anything from this business! They knew they sold me a faulty central air conditioning unit but failed to come out and fix it. When I went with another service (Homesmart) to do all of my warranty and service work, Builders furnace and air conditioning said they were no longer responsible for fixing it and I had to pay.
I wonder how many other people who bought central air conditioning units received faulty units?

I’ve been using Builder’s for many years and am always impressed with their incredibly professional and friendly service. I woke up today realizing that my furnace was not working. When I called Builder’s they had someone out within the hour having already had my address up on their computer. Nate showed up and was very friendly and professional. My furnace was up and running in no time. I highly recommend this company!

Eric came to my house today to check my electric furnace. He was extremely professional. He took the time to look over my electric bills and came to the conclusion that there is nothing wrong with my furnace. It was suggested that I should look into new windows. Who does that?! No extra charges. Highly recommend them.

I recently used Builders to install AC into my home. This is probably the most professional company I have worked with in a long time. When I called to inquire about AC installation, an appointment was set up and the owner of the company came to my house to do the inspection himself. Very friendly, helpful, and able to answer all my questions. An appointment was set up a few weeks later for the actually installation of the unit. The workers arrived on time and worked all day (8 – 5) to install the AC. They had to move some of the duct work in my furnace around to accommodate the coil and do some electrical work as well. When they were finished, I was walked through all the work they had done and able to inspect it myself.
A few days later, Builders set up an appointment for city permitters to come to my house and inspect the work. Both mechanical and electrical inspectors came and found that all work was properly installed to code. The AC unit looks and works great and the process could not have gone more smoothly. I was extremely impressed by Builders and would be pleased to work with them in the future.

We live in the Denver area and had an issue with our air conditioning. My husband called Builder’s Heating and Air Conditioning and they came over when he was out of town and I was alone. I felt like I was a target and completely taken advantage of… he quoted me $ 500 to fix a broken bracket. My husband wanted to talk with the technician for an explanation of the quote and no one ever returned his numerous phone calls. We got a second opinion. The first red flag was when I was asked by the new technician if my husband had been messing with the unit, because whoever had touched it did not know what they were doing. He completed the work with manufacture parts, in one visit, for $ 285. NEVER again will we use Builders and would highly advise you to use a different company.

We use Builders for our swamp cooler and furnace maintenance. They are always good and courteous and get the job done well.
We recently had them come out to check on a water heater at our rental property. They attempted to fix the problem, but it did not stay operative for long. It was determined that we needed a part under warranty, and Builder’s gave me partial credit for future services.
