I used to hate going here, but gave it another chance, as it’s much closer to my house than the wads location and I love my retro systems. To my surprise I found out that the whole staff from before is no longer there! The gm of this location now is super friendly, helpful and genuine! He truly knows the meaning of customer service and has completely won me back as a customer! Now I have convenience and quality in my old school video game store.

The staff here is always cold and DONOT give you the right information. They gave us false information on a WII that we owed so they could sell one of there systems. When we took apart our own WII(Which did not take a soldering iron like they said.). We fixed the problem fairly easy(Also unlike they said.). When we went back into the store four days after with our original purchase with the receipt they gave attitude and didn’t own up to the false information they gave before. Overall I’m very disappointed, I expect this nonsense from a horrible corporation like GameStop(That gave us the some information.). So much for running an honest company. They also have a horrible overpriced selection.

Here’s the deal, I’d like to think of myself as a pretty patient person. That being said, when I can see an employee sitting in the back playing Call of Duty and staring at his phone after making eye contact with me and not moving a muscle to help the 10 or so people in the store while one guy attempts to take care of them all, is a little frustrating. I came here because it’s one of the few places left that has(or at one point in time had) a decent back catalogue, and I’m always looking for games I want for older consoles. The selection here, however, is lackluster at best. Add to that one employee trying to help 3 different people with trades, and me looking interested in some PS1 games, he was pretty busy. But then again I didn’t even get so much as a nod of acknowledgement from the guy. Here’s the deal, Buy-Back Games. I probably would have bought that Final Fantasy collection I was looking longingly at, but the guy in the back who refused to tear himself away from the television screen long enough to at least say«Hello» made me walk out of the place immediately. Get your shit together, because as it stands, I’m surprised this place still exists. If you’re looking for older games, do yourself a favor and drive down the street to Game Force. Or just buy them online. It’s hard to support local businesses over GameStop when they seem so disinterested in helping themselves or their customers.

The selection on used isn’t always the greatest here. The few times I’ve dropped in, I was rarely ever greeted. Otherwise only drop in if there’s something older they might possibly have.
