I just recently had Intacs put in both eyes to treat keratoconus from Dr. Lewis and everything went perfectly. If you have keratoconus please call them and make an appointment here right away. He won’t give you any BS, he’ll tell you exactly what he thinks the outcome will be. With me it was spot on what he said. I hesitated for a while because I really didn’t understand the procedure, I just knew I couldn’t see anything! The procedure was done in about 30ish minutes total for both eyes. It’s 2 little rounded crescent shaped pieces for each eye that get slid under the cornea from just 1 teeny incision. Dr. Lewis uses a laser to create the channels the discs get slid into. Its not even close to what I had let my imagination think of. The discs are like tent poles for your corneas. Anyway, I’m writing this to get people to make an appointment and stop messing around! I didn’t do anything the day off but the next day I was going about my day like normal. My vision changed over a month and now I see ²⁰⁄₂₀ with soft contacts I can have in for a month straight. Big life change me I hope for you too!

I have been going to Cherry Creek Eye Physicians and Surgeons for 3 years since moving to Denver for regular optometry visits. Recently I decided to have LASIK

I would not recommend this opthamologist to anyone. If i could give them 0 stars, I absolutely would. Early in 2014 I was diagnosed with keratoconus. I looked a specialist and found that Cherry Creek Eye Physicians and Surgeons specialized in this. I was delighted to find someone that could help with this disease.
Things started out ok but have now taken a turn for the worse.
I made the decision to get the INTACS procedure done. This was going to require that I be out of my glasses for two weeks. There were two problems I ran into here.
1. I could not use my glasses benefit because Cherry Creek Eye Physicians and Surgeons had already billed for medically necessary contacts (which are about $ 1500). I never used these contacts, I tried but was unable to tolerate them.
2. The second problem was that the prescription they gave me for glasses was WRONG. I got glasses two days after the eye exam and the glasses made me sick to my stomach. I called and asked if they could recheck me and was told this was as good as it was going to get. Unfortunately for them I went to Americas Best and received a prescription that I could wear. So cherry creek eye was just unwilling to help of incompetent.
After this i decided to go somewhere else for my INTAC surgery. I asked them to refund my contacts benefit for the year and have been getting the run around for 2 weeks. I also found out from the other doctor that I did not need to wear glasses for two weeks so I was out another $ 200. This place is a scam and is just trying to milk all of its patients for every penny they can.
