History
Established in 2012.
Owner Christie DuChateau began her bookkeeping career working as an accounting assistant in her family’s accounting & tax practice outside of San Francisco, CA in 2002. After gaining valuable bookkeeping and tax preparation experience, Christie began to take on clients of her own and her interest in accounting grew. In 2007, Christie moved to San Diego to pursue a degree from San Diego State University. In 2010, she received a Bachelor’s of Science in Business Administration with specialization in Entrepreneurship and emphasis in Accounting.
While studying in San Diego, Christie was employed as an administrative/accounting manager for a top-rated construction firm. During her time there, the company grew and expanded, and Christie assisted in the business development process. She created an accounting system, administrative and HR procedures, contract documents, and all other administrative tasks.

With experience in companies of different sizes and industries, I understand the many goals and aspirations of business owners, as well as the challenges they may face in their accounting and human resources needs. I am able to adapt to an ever changing schedule and adjust and prioritize tasks accordingly.
My previous experience allowed me to act as a liaison between potential clients and the company to convey the ways in which we were the best choice to meet their needs. I often travel to our customers’ offices to work with them in organizing new accounting and filing systems, and to help create more efficient record keeping procedures.
I have expertise with all forms of clerical work including answering phones, screening calls, transcribing calls, writing clear and concise emails and memos, maintaining up-to-date filing systems, report generation and summation.
