Complete Chimney Cleaning

Excellent company! Josh and his team are top notch! Josh called the night before to confirm our appointment and they arrived right at the time Josh said he would. He looked at my chimney first and told me honestly that it really wasn’t that dirty and that I could wait if I wanted to or he said he could go ahead and clean it if I wanted. I opted to go ahead and have him clean it since he was already here. I’m telling you folks, that kind of honesty and integrity is really hard to come by these days and it is a rare courtesy for sure!
Cindy was probably the nicest receptionist I’ve ever talked to. She’s not just the scheduler, she’s also Josh’s mom and I can tell they really care about their business.
Anyway, bottom line is I highly recommend this company. I will definitely be calling them back for all my future chimney work!

They were able to get the inspection/​cleaning scheduled within 7 days. I called two other companies and they were slammed into mid January. I was a bit nervous, but they let me know the night before it would be morning, rather than afternoon. Since it’s a rental property on acreage out north, I needed a heads-​up so I didn’t sit all morning waiting. Gentleman called 30 min in advance, showed up on time, did a great job being tidy. Could not beat the price. $ 140 for inspection, cleaning and cap replacement.
Forget the franchises. This family operation is the ticket.

We just had these guys out to clean our chimney today. They were punctual, communicative, thorough, and very helpful. I highly recommend them!

They Have cancelled twice… Charge 50 for inspection… But they do have cheaper cleaning than most… Had to find another company who came out even in the snow to test our fireplace and did a free inspection, and didn’t even need to clean the fireplace… So we saved $$ with the other place. This place may be good but we had to go with someone else.

Great family owned business! Was recommended by my home inspector to clean my fireplace. Josh was very prompt and they were true to their word, they cleaned everything up. Also, cheaper than bigger businesses for parts and labor.
Bottom line: I will be a repeat customer.

I called asking about cleaning and repairing my fire place and spoke with there receptionist she was very rude and condescending. She also recommended a person that was not certified. I don’t know about you but I would look somewhere else…

Josh and his team are my heroes! I had a live bird above my fireplace damper. They came out the same day, put a brush down the chimney, scared the bird, he hopped on and voila! He was out. He shook himself off and flew away. I was so grateful. I never thought this was going to work. Josh also saved me money by getting a fireplace cap that was just slightly too small by putting in some sheet metal and glue. They were kind, caring, and efficient. Complete Chimney Cleaning will ALWAYS be my fireplace company from now on.

Chimney sweep:
Not recommended.
Josh and his team were prompt and courteous but seemed to lack knowledge. They had an issue removing my insert to clean the chimney and they seemed stumped. Something was hung up and the insert would not simply slide out. So after 20 minutes and 3 sweepers, they gave up, charged me a trip charge and left. Although after they left I was able to remove the insert myself 10 minutes later. Haven’t heard anything from them since.
I understand that they were fully booked for the day, but that seemed more important to them than trying to resolve my issue.
Customer service was fine, but knowledge was lacking. My advise look somewhere else for your sweep.

This team is extremely professional and great at what they do! They are very knowledgeable and friendly, and offer additional services without any pressure. They work very fast and kept everything very clean, I highly recommend them!

Chimney sweeps:
Rick, Josh and their team are terrific! These guys know their stuff. Rick is a veteran firefighter and therefore he and Josh are extremely safety-​oriented.
When I moved into my home, they inspected and cleaned my old chimney. During the process they were very careful to protect my floors from soot and foot traffic — leaving my home as clean as when they arrived.
They made recommendations about upgrading my chimney cap but were not pushy or sales-​y. They are very professional in that they call to confirm the appointment the night before and communicate the day of the appointment if they are running behind. Rick, in particular, has an excellent «bedside manner».
In addition to cleaning my chimney, I hired these guys to install a wood fireplace insert. This took a small army to complete but, again, they were respectful of my furnishings and generally cleaned up after themselves. Josh provided me with a a full page of instructions about how to burn my first fires in the stove and how to test to ensure the appropriate oxygen levels. This was far more detailed than the owners’ manual and greatly appreciated!
After the installation, I discovered I had failed to order a decorative piece and could not attach it myself due to the weight of the insert. I discussed my situation with the office staff, who were very pleasant and accommodating. During the busy chimney season, it is not very feasible to throw in an extra trip without charging for the time. However, they came back to the house to help me as soon as they had a job in my area — saving me a trip charge for 15 minutes of work.
I intend on using Complete Chimney Cleaning for my yearly chimney cleaning and other fireplace related services. I feel they are trustworthy and worthy of a long term relationship.
