Corridor 44 is a bar, not a restaurant. The champagne(and champagne selection) and other beverages were very good, the food was Not. Possibly an appetizer would be OK while having a drink, but this is not a place for a meal. The food was tasteless, very small in portions and prepared like a diner. Plus, many dining tables are in the hallway in the back, easy to be forgotten by waitresses, which we were along with our 2nd round of drinks. Go for a drink in the main bar area, very nice atmosphere, other than that, Meh.

Spent NYE and had a great time with my wife! The bar specializes in champagne cocktails and my wife loved the Italian Twist. The front door guys were very nice and welcoming and Jeff behind the bar is awesome. We will be back

Great cocktails in a classy environment. Good place for a date or girls night out(especially if you go when their cocktails are only $ 5!)

It’s a champagne bar, people. If you want a wide variety of champagne choices, come here. If you want restaurant attention with 5-star food, don’t. Simple as that. Swanky feel. Service was good, just quick and to the point(not attentive). Too bad their charcuterie and cheese plate was more sweet(fig jam, dried fruit, candied nuts, 2 cheeses with fruit incorporated…) than savory. Enough with the sweet already.

Took my out-of-town folks to Corridor 44 and we had a lovely evening. Arrived on time for $ 4 happy hour champagne cocktails and then sat down at a table for dinner. Calamari appetizer was nothing special. A little bland in my opinion. My step dad had the lollipop lamb dish and loved it. Mom had the beet salad. My boyfriend had the chicken entrée and it was great. I just had the salmon salad which I enjoyed. Our waitress was attentive but a little too pushy on selling the most expensive dishes and drinks. The restaurant is unique and I loved the decoration. It’s meant to have a low light ambiance but wish they would lit it up more for those dining.

Classy and yummy! It was great for a small group of girls going out. It can be a bit pricey though.

The funny thing is that I didn’t know the name of this place until just now when I Unilocaled it. What I do you is that I loved this place and now I will not forget where it was! Upon walking in I already liked the ambiance and the classy feel of this place. But it was the bartender who really made the impression. Drew might have been the best bartender I’ve had. Super polite, remember our names, very personable and just great to chat with. It’s very seldom that I’d come back to a place solely based on a personality but this might be an exception. Of course there has to also be great drinks in addition to the service and that was there too. I ordered the classic Champagne cocktail, which is essentially a take on an Old Fashioned, and I probably could have drank those all night. Very well made and probably what I’d order again.

Great food, relaxing ambiance and good quality wine! In my opinion, I like this place more than the other French places in the City. Not someplace where you can just show up though and even with a reservation expect to wait a while sometimes. Worth every penny!

Loved this place. So classy. So chic and modern. Great menu with options for everyone. Full bar and great snacks. Wish there was one of these in Orange County.

Good: The food was good. Not mind-altering and small portions, but good. Okay: The drinks were delicious, but not strong and expensive. Bad: The service was terrible. The hostess was rude and our server acted like she was busy all night, but the restaurant was mostly empty. She ignored our group of 6 people. She rarely checked in on us for refills on water, drinks, or ordering food. She would drop off food and plates at the table without saying a word. We asked multiple times for more drinks, only to wait for over 20 minutes or never get them. God forbid we ask our server or hostess to take a photo of our birthday party group! We were told by the hostess that she was too busy to take a photo. I have never felt more ignored at a restaurant.

Martinis for sure. Oh, and CHAMPAGNECOCKTAILS! Very hip little place with an elegant and romantic vibe. The dim lighting is perfect for a cozy night out. Oh, and it’s haunted. Cheers!

Went last night with my boyfriend for our anniversary. Seated immediately, and given a complimentary glass of champagne… awesome! The truffle fries were amazing as always, as well as the champagne cocktails(the cucumber fizz is the business). Then we had the filet mignon with veal demi-out of this world. The service was immaculate… she was always one step ahead, and had great recommendations. Long story short, this place has great service, atmosphere, food, and drinks. Definitely a must-visit. We will be back before our second anniversary for sure!

This place has an awesome happy hour with great champagne cocktails. Their champagne flights are also great in order to figure out what you like. The food is great and the service is OK. This place can get really packed and crowded at times, so go on a Tuesday/Wednesday evening and hang at the bar for a more relaxed atmosphere.

We visited Corridor 44 recently expecting a sort of «urban hip» type of ambiance and menu. What we got can only be described as strange. We were seated in a real corridor… a long, narrow, ill-lit, and kind of creepy hallway with wooden floors. Servers hurried by(in high heels), clicking and clacking the whole while. My wife’s roasted chicken was very dry and my filet was blue and cold(ordered medium rare). The server was indifferent and never checked to see how our meals were. All in all a disappointing experience. Perhaps millennials and wanna-be foodies might go for this, but, unless you like champagne, you may want to consider other options.

Just stopped in a for a few champagne cocktails, and wow! The bartenders know their stuff, very impressive. The atmosphere is wonderful, I very much recommend a stop at this little place. A great way to end a classy evening out on the town!

Amazing selection of champagne, lack luster service. Bartender has zero personality and doesn’t own a smile. He made a cocktail incorrectly and blamed it on a change in menu. He told the snooty British hostess about it and she looked at me and gave the longest eye roll I’ve ever seen in my life. I had the scallops. There were 3 scallops sprinkled with bacon bits. The Parmesan risotto was gluey and flavorless. It came with a pile of onions, red peppers and zucchini. Very disappointing. My friend had the fillet which came with 2 sprigs of asparagus and 2 fitters of potato and goat cheese. Not amazing. We also had calamari, the salmon chips and truffle fries. We had one of each dessert which were ok but not spectacular. The cookies were warm but salty. Champagne cocktails were decent for $ 4 during happy hour. The Italian and pomegranate were the best. Overall: meh.

Ok, to be fair, this isn’t really my kind of place. I am much more of a «gimme a big hunk of cooked meat and no frills» type of guy. I brought my wife here for our anniversary. This is TOTALLY her type of place. She loved the flights of champagne. We had the truffle fries which were good, and I had the chipotle shrimp skewers which were really tasty. For dinner she had the roasted chicken with risotto which she really liked and I thought was really good as well. I had the short rib sammich which I enjoyed. The service was a little pretentious, but friendly. The one thing which really bugged me about this place, and I can’t believe I haven’t seen this on anyone else’s review, but it was really really dark. I had to hold a candle up to the menu to read it! I really have great eyesight, honest! But I couldn’t tell if my shrimp were grilled or battered when they brought them to the table. That’s how dark it was.

The filet was good and of course the cocktails are excellent. I had the Guinness and champagne(Black Velvet I think?) and being a huge Guinness fan I absolutely loved this concoction. With the proximity to the Performing Arts Complex you can’t beat Corridor 44 as a place to have a nice pre or post performance meal or drink.

I’ve only been here a handful of times. I enjoy champagne, therefore I really enjoyed coming here when I was in my early twenties, even though I felt incredibly young compared to the rest of the crowd. Nonetheless, if you’re in search of a great champagne bar, this is your place. If you’re looking for a dinner experience, it’s not bad. The man & I both chose the filet, ordered medium which is good because it came out on the rare side. As in the middle wasn’t exactly aware the outer protein had experienced any heat. That being said, it was a delicious piece of meat and had perfectly cooked asparagus and surprisingly large but yummy goat cheese croquettes. The lights were dimmed as our plates were brought out. It almost seemed like they didn’t want us to notice how under done the steak was. We were on a time constraint & the steak was still delicious so we didn’t say anything. But we did notice. We also got the molten chocolate cake to end our meal on a sweet note. Yummy also, but not yummy enough to warrant the price, which again may just speak to our evolving tastes. Or maybe it just speaks to the expectations that should accompany certain prices.
