Cypress Point Apartments

place sucks. Advertised as newly remodeled which is true. Now the quality of the remodel was horrific missing floor panels, missing doorknobs, paint splatter all over the new floors. Desperately in need of new Windows screens and blinds but only the cheap stuff was redone (cheap paint job, cheap synthetic topping for counters, ect.) I am never able to get ahold of anyone in the office they phone and have waited multiple times over 30 min in person since they do not staff enough people despite raising rent. My car was keyed in front of the leasing office and there are almost always at least one Siren near by every night. Not that great of pricing for the fake amenities you are paying for.

We stayed for 3 months while in between selling and purchasing a house. First impression it looked clean and was in a convenient location. After that it was downhill. The new paint smell was very strong and lingered for the whole time we were there. Running fans and home remedies to rid the smell did not work. Ants living inside the walls throughout, beware do not drop a crumb or they swarm. Dead squirrels every other week in the grass not sure why. Horrible neighbors fighting and screaming in the middle of the night or others cleaning their apartment in the middle of the night, their kids never went to sleep.
Employees were a hit or miss with being friendly depending on who you speak to, some were always ready to throw attitude and on the guard for anything. READ THE FINE PRINT, we did not get our deposit back because it was only a 3 month lease so they repainted and re-​carpeted our unit with our deposit when everything was still perfectly clean and new.
I am so glad we got the hell out of there quickly. I wish there were more options for people to live temporarily in Denver without over spending.

My husband and I just moved in to a top floor renovated apartment after living away from Denver for two years. We were so surprised by the rise in rent when we were looking to move back so we feel so lucky to have found this great apartment at a great price! The apartment itself is renovated (brand new appliances and updated flooring and refinished cabinets and counters). The upgrades are clearly on the cheap end but at least the place looks nice and it’s clean! It’s exactly what we were looking for. Plus the complex has tons of green space, plenty of parking, a beach volleyball court, a nice pool, and a nice office with computers and printer for resident use. But the best part so far has been the staff. We were looking for apartments from Bogota, Colombia and Joe was SUPER helpful and easy to work with. He made the whole process a breeze and he was patient through all my back and forth emails. Bonnie was also very patient with us figuring out our hectic move in day with my brother-​in-​law picking up the keys and issues with signing the lease online. And when we moved in there were a few issues that needed to be addressed by maintenance and they took care of everything the next day! It’s only been a few weeks but so far we feel like we made the perfect decision for our situation and budget. If you’re looking for something not too fancy, reasonably priced, with a great staff, then you should definitely check out Cypress Point Apartments.

Disappointing to say the least. I could probably write for days about reasons not to live in Cypress Point, but I will keep my review brief.
1. If you have any problem/​concern management will not take you seriously. «Maintenance» does not get done even when it is absolutely necessary. Example: for an entire month, all 6 of the washing machines in my building were filled with water and disconnected from the wall, with notes from management on each saying they would be fixed in“2−3 days”. It is now two months later and two of those washers are still filled with water and broken, leaving a musty smell and quite possibly, mold issues.
Additionally, there is a rodent problem that they refuse to address. I noticed a mouse in my apartment so I made a maintenance request and was told an exterminator would come in to take care of the issue. Well, the «exterminator» sealed the mouse’s hole in the wall and left ZERO traps for the event that the mouse is sealed out of his home. As luck would have it, the mouse is still loose in my apartment. When I asked management what more can be done they told me to buy my own traps. Seriously?!
2. This past year the rent has increased from $ 900 to $ 1100+. All this money they charge and they can’t/won’t even maintain the property at a reasonable level. It’s their choice I guess. Good luck finding fools willing to pay so much for receiving nothing in return.
3. The office staff are rude to residents, specifically the male leasing agent. In the two years I’ve lived here I have never had a pleasant interaction with him. His demeanor is very rude and unpleasant.
I am so happy to be leaving!!! I would NOT recommended these apartments to anyone! Save yourself a ton of frustration and find a home somewhere else!

Great price for every amenity you need or want: gym, computer lab, tennis, basketball AND sand-​volleyball courts, pool, hot tub, and grills. Management was always kind, prompt, and helpful. Moving to Denver from Louisiana was exhausting, but Jenny was a friendly face whom worked with my girlfriend and me to help move us into our cozy new home even though we did not have full-​time jobs yet. Tenants are mostly diverse, happy families, and young new transplants excited to explore the city. The complex always had a sense of safety as laughing children kick soccer balls in the grassy fields scattered between the buildings. Never had a dull moment living in these apartments: picking up a B-​Ball game or tennis match is a common evening happenstance, and bouncing across the street for drinks, food, and entertainment was a breeze-​walk. Moved out to get closer to work in the Highlands, if not for my passion for cycling to work, I would’ve stayed. Overall, 4 stars.

Horrible, unorganized management with bad attitude. They spray something and can’t tell you what it is putting your pets and children in danger. Do not live here.

Spacious apartments with balconies, pool & gym on site, reasonable rent, and located near plenty of food & nightlife options. Downside is the pool takes forever to open & there is an overadundance of unsupervised kids running around the complexes

If you want a complex that does STILL not have their pool open, this is the complex for you. They keep saying they hope to have it open in another week or so. They have now closed their rent drop box and have closed their offices on Sundays. When I called this past Saturday to get our total rent, as it always changes due to gas and water, trash, etc.(which by the way is always at least an additional $ 60.00 in addition to Excel Energy) no one answered the phone. After calling about 8 times Jinny answered, kept me on hold for over 10 minutes then hung up on me. When I called back at least twenty times, she answered and told me her hung up on me as she was too busy. What company does that. Then if you are late with your rent you get charged a big penalty. So after the office closed, they called me back. Remember their office is closed on Sundays with no rent drop off box so our rent would have been late due to Cypress lack of responsiveness. Ridiculous. I then left a voice mail for the GM, Tony at 303−758−1742, to express concern to which I have yet to receive a return call. Of course we paid our rent on time, however, just the attitude of I was busy so I hung up on you is not a good business practice.
The maintenance people at Cypress are wonderful, however the office staff and management at corporate have huge issues to address.
