Del Taco

The food itself was very good. The service was a little to be desired. They were not very busy in the restaurant but it took nearly 15 minutes to get a few tacos. It is cheap fast food. For the price and quality of food this place is awesome!!!

I like the staff, though it does seem that they get overwhelmed, at times. I know that this isn’t their fault, and I see how frenetically they work to get things done when they’re busy and overwhelmed. I work retail, and I know the feeling. But, as far as the people I see working there regularly, they are always friendly and I know that if I’m waiting for food or to order, it isn’t because they’re slacking, just a few hands short.

Worst lunch of my life. I ordered two chicken tacos, and they gave me one, which I bit into to discover that there was ground beef in with the chicken. I can’t have beef, so I look forward to that imminent stomach ache. When I told the person working (I think he was a manager?) about it and showed him the taco, he said, «What do you want me to do about it?» Never going back again.

This place is terrible. Everytime you go, you will be asked to park. 9 out of 10 times they will forget about you and you will end up walking in. They are supposed to be open late yet turn off all their building lights so you think they are closed. Food 90% of the time is wrong or ice cold…

Its a Del Taco, and Its in Aurora. The People who come in, let you know your in Aurora sadly enough.
I ordered a Number 5 and she gave me a Number 2.
How they sound alike is beyond me.
I was hungry and didn’t put up a fuss and ate it.
That is all.

I love a good fast food Del Taco… sadly, this one was not.
The bf and I stopped in on our way home from the airport and ordered 2 bean & cheese red burritos, deluxe chili cheese fries and 2 tacos.
Not a ton… and the place looked empty, although maybe the drive thru was full, I have no idea.
I gave her my card, she handed me a receipt and we sat down and waited… and waited… and waited… it was like 15 – 20 minutes until we got our food, which is kind of long in fast food terms, and we didn’t order anything crazy.
As we grab the food she’s like «You didn’t pay…» & I’m like «I have a receipt…» and she’s was like «yeah, but that’s not the right receipt. It’s this other one and the card had an error.» … …
We sat there waiting for our food for 15 MINUTES… you couldn’t maybe mention that or tell me that during that whole time??? It wasn’t crazy busy or anything… So… after we FINALLY get our food I have to stand up there and wait to pay for it… again. And during that time my food gets cold and gross because she’s taking her time even helping me… it took like another 5 – 6 minutes just to pay.
So yeah, by that time my food is gross and cold and I end up only half eating it. Also, their red sauce is weird… it tasted kind of funky.
So… never going to this Del Taco again.

The fries were fresh but lemons for the tea was dry and brown. Plus burrito was quite small to go with a meal.

OK, green burritos. Do you want anything to drink with —
I’m NOT finished yet, brosef! Also, two chicken soft tacos. One Macho Nachos with steak. And one big-​ass fries with every topping you got. One handful of ketchup and two giant handfuls of the black Del Scorcho sauce. NOW I’m done. And no, I don’t want a drink.‘
This is literally the exact conversation Optimus has in the drive-​thru at this location every week. But I loves me some Del Taco, especially the Del Scorcho sauce. MMMMM-​Mmmmmmm!!!
Perhaps I will amend this review at a later time to resolve the age-​old dispute within myself: I got Taco Bell near home and Del Taco near work, so which one do I prefer?
