Great but minus one star because the menu promises maple syrup. Honey, that syrup comes from a factory, not from a tree. Stick with the jam and honey butter instead of the flavored corn syrup.

Denver Biscuit Co. is pretty dang good! There is a lot of biscuit, so be a fan ahead of time! They offer many different dishes, and I particularly liked the cinnamon roll with bacon! YUM! It is housed in the Atomic Cowboy off Tennyson, I just wish they were able to serve all day! They only offer during breakfast and lunch hours. Check it out!

Okay so this place is actually 3 places in one, a bar, a breakfast place and a pizza place. A little odd but it works and the food is great. My wife and I went in for lunch and she got a salad, which was decent and a slice of pie. The slice was huge! You pay per topping so be careful here but still worth it. I was in the mood for a sandwich so I explored the Denver biscuit companies menu, which included some great looking sandwiches. I ended up getting a DBC club which does not disappoint! The thing is massive!!! I literally think my jaw dropped and my eyes got huge when the waitress brought it out, a response that has good for a little chuckle from her. I tried to pick it up, I would recommend not even bothering as my attempt didn’t last long. The bacon was nice and fresh, the chicken, though fried was still nice and tender and moist. So enough about the sandwich, this place is located right on Tennyson and has its own parking lot which is a plus if you are driving in the area. The service was decent and the hostess seemed to not want to be there. The food though greatly overshadowed these downfalls so I would say check this place out!

You must eat here if visiting Denver. The biscuit cinnamon roll with bacon is something everyone needs to have at some point in their lives. It’s huge, so def share it. And if you get a biscuit sandwich prob share it as well. The portions are huge which we wished we would have known Bc we didn’t even eat half of everything we ordered. So worth the calories. Also, in a cute neighborhood so you can stroll and walk off the biscuits afterwards.

Are you ready for your carb fix for the month? I saw this place on the Food Network while they were just a mobile biscuit food truck. Boy have they grown, with multiple locations and sister restaurants. Their biscuit dough is made with little bits of frozen butter to ensure its richness and flakiness. We heard about the cinnamon roll and started with that. Whoa. It’s enough for at least 5 people. So sweet and rich, really fresh. Next up, the biscuits. I opted to try it simple, plain with a side of homemade jam and honey butter. The biscuit is huge and flaky. I could feel my blood sugar rising. Well worth it. They also have a cool self serve coffee area, so you can just go up to freshen your cup anytime you want. Service was spot on for all the other things, including to go containers. This place has a full bar and turns into a pizza joint by night. Pretty s-m-r-t.

I love the location in S Denver, but this one I was not impressed with. The food is still awesome here, but the service leaves something to be desired. Most of the wait staff is too busy with their buds to be helpful. After 2 minutes of waiting for our check, we finally asked who I assume was a bus boy or a cook to grab someone so we could pay. Hopefully this isn’t the norm, as I love the food and wished I lived closer to the Broadway location. Really wish they would serve the biscuits all day too…

Oh geez, how do I write this? Hungover? Worn out? Just got off the night shift? Go here. Be free with the self-serve coffee. Be amazed at the atomic cowboy mural and question life. Be overwhelmed with the deliciousness of a warm, savory, gooey, salty, creamy biscuit sandwich. Need I say more? I should say more: they do have a bar and Fat Sully’s Pizza inside as well!

Holy crap. Delicious. Went here for breakfast as I had a very rare hankering for some biscuits. Got a sandwich with bacon, cheese, fried chicken, some other stuff and covered in mushroom gravy. I ate 5 hours ago and I’m still good. Service was awesome, seating options are great whether you’re eating alone or a big group and it’s located in a neat neighborhood(I’m from out of town so don’t put too much weight on that comment). I would definitely return assuming i can consume another delicious biscuit sandwich.

If you’ve ever wanted to know what an orgasm would taste like if it were in breakfast sandwich form… You will taste it here. The Cordon Bleu was perfection and everyone says to get the Franklin

Wow, Holy Glutton overload. It’s just way too many calories crammed between over-sized biscuits(or French Toast substituted for biscuits) for one person. Then, smothered or smeared with gravy, apple butter… I suggest you go in thinking«Share. To Go Container. Never mind, leave behind.»

Great biscuits! The jams are to die for and I’m not a big jam person. You also can’t leave with out checking out the cinnamon biscuit, but bring your friends it’s rich and big. For those of you with kids — I have to say without question a great place to take your kids the staff is very accommodating. We’ve been multiple times with our one year old and anyone with kids knows their not neatest eaters! The staff has said on multiple occasions

I came here over the weekend with my in laws husband and 3 month old. it was my first time and I had heard great things about this place. my husband and I split a pizza which was so good. and the slices were HUGE. we only ate half and took the other half home with us. our waiter gave us two free cinnamon rolls because our pizza was a little crispy. which we didn’t even mind that it was but it was nice of him to give it to us anyways. I would of given this place 5 stars except the waitress who was waiting on the table in front of us kept shooting us dirty looks cause my son was in his car seat sitting in a sling. our waiter nor did the other staff mind that he was sitting there. I understand the place is small as it is but if it were such a problem they could of moved us. all that being said I won’t be coming back. the food may be great and all but if I can’t bring my son for a little family lunch, then I can take my business elsewhere.

That Strawberry Shortcake though… Everybody knows their sandwiches are bomb but you HAVE to try this drool-worthy dish! Fresh strawberry preserves soak into a split biscuit, layered and topped with a mound of fresh whip cream. Do yourself a favor, don’t leave without it.

Cool atmosphere, good service, 30 minute wait in a Saturday morning– not too bad. What we ate: Mom’s iced coffee– amazing The DBC club– huge, delicious, requires knife & fork The Franklin– good, but I could have done without the gravy. Cinnamon roll– ENORMOUS and yummy

If you want a huge unhealthy brunch, you’d come here. That being said, I actually enjoyed my Vegetarian Biscuit Pot Pie. Probably the«healthiest» looking plate in the table. My boyfriend got The Dahlia but he wasn’t a fan — he would rate this place 2 stars but since others in the table would give it a 4, we concluded 3 is appropriate rating: p The service was great tho, very nice gals. Another friends got the Cordon Blue and he loved it

I’m soo glad they opened one of these in this location. Great street, great atmosphere. We had a fabulous brunch here — great service and great food! We’ll be back. Ordered: Bloody Mary and the Biscuit French Toast — both were great.

Just as amazing as the first two locations. Started with the standard sweet potato fries and cinnamon roll. Both cooked to perfection: fries had great crisp, crunch and cinnamon roll was oooey, gooey deliciousness. Tried the new Colfax A sandwich with fried chicken on it. Great choice! The hot sauce and chicken combo complemented the ham and greens very nicely. The Elmer and Franklin were amazing as always. Have to be part of your go-to choices!

Really really good biscuit sandwiches. Worth the long wait for a table on a weekend morning, but very pricey. Almost $ 20 bucks a person with non– alcoholic drink. A nice splurge.

I really wanted to love Denver Biscuit Co. but I just didn’t. What I did love was the space and the fun vibe and the friendly staff. Plus how fun is it to go pick out your own coffee mug from the eclectic collection they have?! Aside from all that however, I think these biscuits are just way too over the top. I’m all for indulging but my idea of indulging is a big ol’ biscuit sandwich with scrambled eggs, bacon and cheese, not fried chicken and obscene amounts of honey. I had a hard time choosing a sandwich and the one I got was disappointingly sweet. For a breakfast/brunch place, I couldn’t believe only one or two of the options included eggs. I will say that the biscuit itself was amazing. If I find myself here again, I’ll probably just order that.

Great food, atmosphere, location. Not the greatest biscuits though. They certainly have interesting sandwich options, though. I had the Franklin, which was the chicken biscuit sandwich. I thought it tasted good but it does not compare to Seattle biscuit. This place felt like a Denver biscuit which clearly many people enjoy. However the chicken biscuit sandwiches I’ve had elsewhere tasted more like the south. It’s a preference thing. I would definitely go back to try the cinnamon bun and to enjoy drinks at the bar. The atmosphere is lively and the restaurant set up is big. I did street parking a couple blocks away. It’s free for two hours.

1. Parking lot sucks. Good thing there was a spot by the dumpster. 2. Place is nice inside. Very hipster-ish. Cartoon network was playing on a flatscreen TV. 3. Food is MEH and overpriced. If you specialize in biscuits, they better be damn good. However, they were dry and not flaky. Pillsbury canned ones are better! I sampled dishes from my amigos and amigas. Not worth $ 10 bucks in my opinion. Oh, and if you want an extra dish to share with someone, they charge you $ 1! The sides of cheesy grits and fried chicken were awful as well. No flavor, and the chicken was 1 piece of country fried chicken patty. REALFRIEDCHICKENINCLUDESDABONE! DABONEEEE. Please read my Church’s review if you want delicious biscuits for a fraction of the price: $ 0.60. Thank you and peace be with you.

Love love love this place. Service is always friendly and enjoyable. I like the adult breakfast drinks, the cinnamon roll is a must try with a group of friends, or hell if you think you can smash it alone. I’ve had a few dishes here. The Ellsworth is delish, as well as the shrimp and grits. So so good. The atmosphere is chill, I like how they have an assortment of coffee cups. Defiantly a must try when in west highlands. Cheers !

Easily the best biscuit I’ve ever bitten into. I ordered the Cordon Bleu after finding out it recently was placed in the top 10 sandwiches for Food Network. The combination was SOGOOD. Not to mention the cheese, fried chicken, and thin slices of ham could stand alone as their own commodity. My boyfriend chose The Elmer and our traveling amigo selected the Franklin. The food battle ended in a pleasant tie. You can do no wrong at DBC. Also– the slightly pricey Bloody Mary is well worth the splurge and I consider myself quite the hangover drink connoisseur. Couldn’t rate this place high enough!

Clearly, this is a hometown favorite. We initially intended to have brunch at the E Colfax location but the line was spilling out the door, so we drove here and were seated promptly. The service was great as was their coffee. The server must have seen the starving looks on our faces and offered to bring us the cinnamon we’d ordered as a dessert as an appetizer instead. This pretty much made her the most brilliant and awesome server I’ve ever met. And that biscuit cinnamon roll — it was warm, it was buttery, it was cinnamony. It was everything! Maybe we shouldn’t have started with it because our main dishes seemed to really pale in comparison after tasting the cinnamon roll. I had the biscuits and gravy while Jason ordered The Franklin. I didn’t care for the gravy that came with each and I felt like there were too many flavors competing on that Franklin. But the biscuits were still stellar. I walked away with half a cinnamon roll still left to eat and happily nibbled on it the next morning with my English breakfast tea. All was right with the world.

Awesome, awesome, awesome! I’d been to the other two locations of the Denver Biscuit Company and this new branch definitely did not disappoint! Super friendly staff and quick service! The new location on Tennyson stays true to the Atomic Cowboy feel, but is super bright and open too — and the abundant outdoor seating is great too! The biscuits, as always, are completely indulgent and to die for. Denver Biscuit Company is consistently incredible! Not a bad option to order! And the fact that they have a parking lot in this neighborhood is just an added bonus ;)

Ok, just to get it out of the way, the service and staff were amazing and so friendly. The décor was very cool! Bathroom décor was really cool too. Now the important part. The food was out of this world! We are visiting from Chicago and went with our friends who are recent transplants to the area. We were all very impressed! I had the Dahlia with French toast biscuit, a side of bacon and side of sausage gravy.(That’s way too much food by the way!) I added some gravy to my sandwich and that was delicious! Our table split the cinnamon roll which was ok. A little harder than I expect from a cinnamon roll but worth a try. The sausage on the biscuit was great. It had a little spice to it. My friend had the elsworth which is a biscuit with fried chicken, Dijon mustard, and sweet pickles. I would have never tried this but thanks to my buddy I tried a bite and though I am not a Dijon fan the mix in the taste of the chicken, Dijon and sweet pickle with the biscuit is beyond words. So basically the food was amazing, the staff was amazing, the restaurant décor and atmosphere was amazing! One last touch that I LOVED was the self serve coffee. For $ 3.00 you get to get your own coffee by the front doors. You walk up and pick out your mug from a mix of mugs where not one mug matches another. It is kind of fun picking the mug that matches you. I loved it. So thanks Denver Biscuit Co. for a great breakfast experience. Can’t wait to visit you and the Denver area again!
