Denver Inside and Out

Lots of fun and a great way to explore Denver. The actors are very entertaining and were patient as my friends and I roamed aimlessly around Denver. Great way to learn something about Denver!

My husband, five year old son, and I did this tour on our recent vacation to Denver. It was one of the high points of our week! My son actually picked the tour when I told him what our options were. He was super excited about it and I was a bit concerned it would be over his head. While it was slightly over his head he did LOVE it and loved how excited all of us were to go from stop to stop.
The tour is run so well and all if the «players» involved are on their A game. From the moment we started the tour I was excited about each and every clue we received. We found ourselves working with another family and enjoying their company very much.
The greatest thing is that we were able to see all of downtown Denver. I wished we had the opportunity to do the tour earlier in our trip so we could spend more time downtown exploring.
If you get the chance, do this tour! You won’t regret it — I promise!

I’ve lived in Denver for almost 40 years and never knew this piece of history. This was a fun way to spend a beautiful fall morning. Although you walk quite a distance, the walking is very easy and enjoyable. This would be fun to do with friends and relatives from out of town, or just to get a new perspective on the Mile High City. All the people involved make it fun. Highly recommend!

This was an absolutely wonderful tour; I’ve traveled a lot, and rarely do you find such a well put together tour with guides/​employees that feel passionate about what they’re sharing. We had an awesome time going from place to place, and even found some shops we didn’t know about when we made a wrong guess. The whole process, from reservation to completion, was very smooth. We had a blast, and I would strongly recommend this to anyone who wants to enjoy a little intrigue!

Wow! This was a blast. My wife and I did the tour last week, and we are still talking about it. We saw things the guidebooks wouldn’t know about and learned a lot while having fun exploring the city. Great fun and a must-​do whether you’re a local or a tourist. Begins near the Wynkoop Brewery, so you can go taste some local beer before starting the tour. Or, at least, that’s what we did!

The second I read the 5 star Jenny S review, I knew the Hubby and I just had to participate !!
Unfortunately this walking tour is not up and running during the Winter, so we have to wait to be apart of the Denver Mint Robbery.

Doesn’t the Weather get nice way earlier — maybe I heard wrong.
In the meantime, we took advantage of the 60 degree day, and did our own Lodo Walking tour — It was 3 stars at best, so I hope Denver Inside and Out gets going again soon !!!

One of the best ways to be a tourist in Denver!
You know when you live in a city long enough, you stop doing the things that other people that visit do? Well I have not been a «tourist» in Denver in a long time. Then I joined a group on
and one of the activities was a walking tour of Denver through Denver Inside and Out.

Part street theater, part interactive scavenger hunt, part city walking tour, and part Denver history education, this tour was one of the best weekend morning experiences I have had in a long time. I would recommend this in a heartbeat to families, people looking for things to do with their out of town friends, people going on first dates, and anyone just looking to get out in the city and learn more about the great places we have here. We started at Union Station and a series of clues took us all the way to the mint, the capitol and then back to 16^th street where it ended. While finding clues we also learned about all the landmarks we visited as well. (Did you know that the Denver mint produced 187 million coins in the early 1900s?)
Just under two hours long, the tour revolves around the mint robbery in the 1920s, and the story is fascinating! If you’re looking for a way to see the city and to learn a bit more about its history, this is the thing for you! A true gem, and I cannot wait to see what they come up with next!
