When artist’s die and go artist heaven, I am sure it looks a lot like EvB Studio. This is a truly special, magical place. Marie has carved out *no pun intended* a unique and nurturing creative space.
Marie is a natural teacher who wishes nothing more than visitors to her studio to leave with fantastic creations and the knowledge that there is an artist inside of them. There is no better bargain in town than her mini workshops. Seriously, trust me.
There is a very special place in whatever heaven Marie believes in just for her because she creates joy and happiness from just little lumps of clay. You will be a better person for getting to know her and her work.

the E.v.B. Studio is the place to be for this gal. I’ve been attending workshops there for many years and have learned a great deal from Marie. My hand building skills have improved immensely with her instruction. I can buy a bag of clay, work at my own pace and she fires my finished pieces for me, included in the price of the clay.
In most of her workshops, the result is a finished piece which results in feeling like I’ve accomplished something plus I feel inspired to do more. I’m a stay at home mom. For me my time at MudClub or other workshops is some welcome «me» time!
Marie’s own personal work is inspiring in itself. It is wonderful to be surrounded by such beautiful work while working on my own creations.
I highly recommend that you stop in for a First Friday MiniShop or check her website for other workshops. From beginners to seasoned artists, this is the place to be!

EvB Studio is the greatest place to be on First Fridays. The public studio of artist Marie EvB Gibbons offers a variety of workshops and on First Fridays what she calls MiniShops. Each month has a specific item that you can make that you pick up after being fired.
I also know that the studio offers private parties — which would be a great thing for birthdays or just a monthly get together with friends.
Always a best bet… Marie also has a variety of her own works available for sale throughout the week.

This is one of my absolute favorite places to go on First Friday! I am getting excited just thinking about it!
Marie opens her studio up and has a «project» to participate it. For $ 10 buckaroos you too can create an EvB miniature art piece. It is so awesome. Each month Marie picks a item… for instance for June she did June bugs. She made basic clay June bugs that you can embellish to make it your own. Using a variety of tools to poke, roll, stab, implant, scratch, etc into and onto your piece. She then fires them and puts a beautiful wash on and then you pick it up and add it to your growing art collection.
I can’t wait till first Friday!!!
