Originally from La Crosse, Wisconsin after being honorable discharged from the Army Patricia learned the plumbing trade at the best Plumbing and Mechanical School in the nation. With 5 years of School 2 nites a week and on the job training Patricia graduated with top honors.

Came out and actually did the job for free. Yes it was a very small job but who does work for free anymore? Awesome people. If the owners read this you probably won’t remember us it’s been a year. Very competent.

I recommend Eco Plumbing without reservation. Tricia, the owner, showed up on time, was careful not to make a mess while repairing a gas line in our kitchen (it was a snowy day and she took her boots off each time she went in or out of the house), and her price was reasonable. She does the work herself, which I appreciate, and her communication was great. I will definitely call her in the future for our plumbing needs.

Over an hour late and was ineffective at best.
Three issues:
1. P-​Trap in shower leaking.
Eco Plumbing Proposed solution– replace all the plumbing under the shower. Estimated cost: $ 700.
Actual Solution from independent plumber– just re-​caulk the drain in the shower. Fixed it right up — the pipes were in perfect condition. Cost: $ 0.10 of caulk and maybe five minutes of work, $ 25 for diagnostic.
2. Heating in one of our two zones not working.
Eco Plumbing Proposed solution– something is probably caught in the pipes to zone two or some other weird thing I can’t remember– it was a very long explanation. Estimated cost: ~$ 1,000, a day of work.
Actual Solution from independent plumber– THE VALVE TO THE OTHER ZONE WAS CLOSED. I don’t know if I should be more embarrassed than Eco Plumbing or what. Wait. Actually I do. Cost: Same $ 25 as above and three seconds of work.
3. Boiler is old as hell.
This wasn’t an issue to us really– the shit works. But to Eco, this was a pending disaster of epic proportions. During the pitch we were given, he explained that he would basically re-​pipe the entire house and replace it with ‘Expensive Brand X’ (which was mentioned verbally about 15 times) for $ 15,000. When we said we didn’t have nearly that kind of money, he had the balls to suggest we take out a second mortgage.
Actual Solution from independent plumber– Yeah, just get it serviced regularly. Jeez.

Tricia was amazing! She was timely, both in arrival time and procedural time. She found the problem quickly and repaired it. She then gave tons of local references for other follow-​up services we will need.

$ 50 to come out and see if they can even do the job? I’ve never heard of such a thing. There are too many good honest plumbers out there who are happy to come talk about your issue and get you a quote without trying to overcharge you up front.

So the major benefit is that they will give you upfront pricing. But, if you don’t know that until the tech is at your house it will still cost you $ 50 for him to come out, refuse to touch the pipes you need fixed (too much liability) and quote you $ 400 to switch out the faucet, not including the cost of the actual faucet. So, yes… if you get an upfront quote, it’s probably a great company. but since I was upfront and told the owner? receptionist? The age of my building and she said it wasn’t a problem I felt a bit scammed.

If you’re a cheapskate, then don’t call these people. Get someone under-​qualified to do crappy work that will likely cost you more in the long run.
If you want to pay about market-​average money for top-​quality work, then do call Eco Plumbing and Boiler. They installed a new swamp cooler central air system for me. They did it quickly, they were very thorough, and the price was great.
I’m an independent service provider (computery stuff) and a research nut. I know when I’m getting great service and great value for the dollar. That’s why Eco will always be my first call in the future. The force is strong with these people.

Terrible, terrible service. I booked an appointment, and they called me at the time they were supposed to arrive to say they were missing a key tool and couldn’t come to my house. We rescheduled; they were 45 minutes late. I called only to find out that they STILL didn’t have the necessary tool. They never bothered to let me know, so, in total, I spent 3 hours waiting for nothing. They were totally disorganized and I will never work with them again.

Called Eco Plumbing last Friday because we had methane gas in our basement. Eco Plumbing setup up an appointment for today from 11a-​1p. Tricia showed up exactly on time and was polite, courteous, and professional. Tricia figured out the problem, went to buy supplies, and installed trap guards in our basement floor drains before 1pm. While Tricia was very efficient, she also took time to explain the situation so I could decide what I wanted to do. I felt very informed throughout the entire process. I would highly recommend Eco Plumbing to anyone looking for a high quality Plumbing company

Shawn came out and replaced a toilet we had in our home. He was very considerate, professional and answered all my questions. I would recommend Eco Plumbing to anyone.
Ironically a couple days later the hot water heater at our practice went out and we called Eco and they came out very timely, (Shawn again) and fixed the problem.

Chris explained everything in lay-​terms so that I could understand exactly what was going on. He was prompt and super friendly. After this one experience, I understand much more about my plumbing than I ever thought I would.
Eco Plumbing will definitely be our go-​to from now on!

The toilet tank in our Boulder condo suddenly cracked and started leaking. I looked around for a plumber and called several companies asking for immediate help. Most were slow to respond or didn’t respond at all! But when I called Eco-​Plumbing, they responded immediately. They came right away and replaced the toilet with one that matched my other bathroom fixtures perfectly. They were prompt and reasonable on the price. My plumber was Shawn and he was awesome. Go with Eco Plumbing!

Leaking sink on New Years day. No problem, they sent Shawn over 2 hours later. He was knowledgable and courteous and fixed the sink quickly. They only charged me 49 bucks to boot as it was an easy fix. No holiday pricing or anything else.
Highly Recommend!

Eco Plumbing did a great job on a clogged toilet for us. Called on a Wednesday and they were here on Thursday. He fixed the toilet and also while he was here I went ahead and asked if he could look at the bathtub drain that we couldn’t get unstopped. He took care of that as well and adjusted the tub drain so that it was holding water better. He explained everything he was doing so that it was understood what was going on. Even offered a discount when I mentioned I found them on Unilocal

It’s hard to find contractors that you like, respect and trust, and I feel that I have that with Eco Plumbing! I first had them come out in late March to look at a repair on my shower. Damon let me know about their pricing structure, and then let me know that I really needed a replacement (which he could guarantee) rather than a repair (which he couldn’t). This shower has been an issue since I bought my place 8 years ago, so I knew he was right. I had to hold off due to financial and time issues, but when it turned into a minor emergency I called him to do it — and the price was exactly what he had quoted 2 months ago. Friendly, clean, and I feel like I now have a shower that I trust will work — and it looks great too! I would totally trust Eco Plumbing to do a great job for a reasonable price.

Ok, i am a real person. In fact, check out my other reviews because I am proud to have written them. So, I called Eco at 6:30 this morning and was shocked (pleasantly) to have a person, presumably Tricia, the owner, pick up and actually talk to me. The not waiting to see if someone would call me back and even be able to help me today was the first reason I am giving them 5 stars. Second, Damon, the technician was running a bit past appointment start time (10am-​12pm, not like 8 hours) because he was picking up a part for MY water heater and called me to tell me. In fact, he called me at 9:30am to tell me this. He was here at like 11:00am and was courteous and polite and told me ALL of my options, in plain english. He didn’t try to hard sell me on replacement, which is what most plumbers do-​he told me the numbers and warranties and guarantees, and let me decide. Then when I did, he got to work and now I can wash my hair and not take another «sponge bath» standing at the kitchen sink with boiled-​on-​the-​stove water. Yay ME!

Tricia came to fix a leaky faucet in the kitchen and unfortunately it turned out the entire faucet needed replacing. She was clear about why and enabled us to get a deeply discounted faucet through her discount. She came back the same day and installed it, leaving everything cleaner behind her (she even puts covers over her shoes when coming in the house).
She said she prefers having her own business so she can take her time to get the job done right, and that was evident in her visit.
