History
Established in 2007.
EcoSystems Inc. was founded in 2007 by Jim Dunning. It was from his 20 years of experience in the industry that Mr. Dunning saw a gap in the market. Unfortunately all too often we saw houses, homeowners and tenants being neglected, and their properties slipping into disrepair. Thus the idea was born, providing top notch maintenance services in addition to the typical management duties of filling vacancies and collecting rents. By doing maintenance in house, doing little extras like sprinkler blowouts & furnace filter changes, we are able to insure good tenants stay happy long term tenants, making sure in the process that the home is being «loved» as it should be by the tenant. Whether it’s 2am or 2pm, if there is an issue, you can know we are on call 24⁄7 to protect the home, the homeowner, the tenant and the relationships. We even give the first hour of handyman service free, regardless of the time. We really do strive for win win win relationships.

Business Owner
Jim Dunning was first licensed as a Realtor in 1994. Having worked through the boom and bust times in real estate, Jim saw that you can both make and lose a fortune in this business. Jim has owned, bought, sold, fixed, flipped and managed countless properties over the last twenty years. Having seen the business from every angle, and having owned many rentals himself, he saw where the industry was failing homeowners, investors and tenants. It was from his own pain, seeing one of his own rentals badly damaged to the tune of $ 20k, that he decided to create this little company that would focus on delivering top notch management AND maintenance services. Jim decided that by being proactive with the maintenance, even just doing little things like sprinkler blowouts or furnace filter changes, guarantees we are able to inspect the property at least a couple of times a year. By this approach, we can insure the home is being loved and well cared for, not recklessly diminished.
