Unassuming old shop just off 38^th and Federal that happens to have spectacular service and spectrum of tuxes.
Tony does all the heavy lifting with a ready smile and accommodated my last-​second need for a nicer tux for an event less than 24 hours away. I’d rented once before and he had all my measurements in his system and had my outfit ready in a couple hours. Great guy, great service, great array of choice.

I’ve gone here for a few years and the quality and customer service are top-​notch. The owner will go out of his way to make you happy and make sure your needs are met. If you need a tux or other formal wear, I strongly recommend El Guapo.

I would give more stars if the option was available. First, I’m a procrastinator!!! I waited until 4 days before the big day. I called El Guapo and Tony went above and beyond to help me out. I told Tony that my schedule was crazy that week and he asked where I work. The next day he showed up at my business to take my measurements. He explained how important the proper measurements are for tuxedos (I wear suits all the time for work and thought it wouldn’t be any different, boy was I wrong). The next day, my tux was in and I went to try it on! Man, am I grateful that Tony measured me!!! The tux fit beyond perfectly. The shop is locally/​family owned, centrally located in the North Side of Denver, and has a huge variety of tuxedos for all budgets and preferences. I hadn’t worn a tux for many years and was hesitant to rent another based on previous bad experiences at chain stores. I will now go to El Guapo anytime I need formalwear and highly recommend it!

I rented the Calvin Klein tuxedo for my sister’s Quinceañera and I really thought I looked good as people kept telling me how good I looked. The place is very organized and they have a lot of colors to choose from, the people working there are very friendly and knew a lot about tuxedos. They helped my sister out on finding the right tuxedo for her chambelanes and also got to choose an invitation from thier catolags. I will definitely go back when I get hitched!!! lol

I was fitted for a tux and was told it would be ready on the 21^st. I told them I would pick it up on the 22^nd. No problem right? I showed up on the 22^nd to get my tux and they were closed. There was a sign on the door that said they were on vacation and would be back on the 21^st. That was yesterday and today the sign is still there and they are closed. I tried calling several times and always got a busy signal. They took the phone off the hook. Apparently the vacation ran long. What a joke of a business. I went to Al’s Formal Wear and was out the door with a tux in about 30 minutes. They saved the day. I called El Guapo 2 days later because I wanted my $ 30 deposit back that I paid to rent the tux. Believe it or not they actually wanted to argue about it. I simply called my bank and they took care of it for me. If you want to rent a tux and you need to actually wear it, then I would recommend using another company like Al’s. I’ve renamed this place «El Undependo».

Can I tell you how much Customer Service is worth? EVERYTHING!
Good customer service will get you miles in my book. I have booked trips, spent thousands of dollars based on good customer service. The owner of this store knows my name by heart and we have not met. He was interested enough in helping me understand the nature of the rental business that he took time away from his long day to explain, and then went further by committing my name to memory, and inviting me to come into his shop when he would be there personally to assure my needs were met. He really went the extra mile to help, even informing us when ‘prom’ season was, and how to avoid it. The styles are all the same that were available at the Men’s Warehouse or at Al’s, oh, and then a lot more that weren’t. Looking for a ‘country’ tux? A different kind of formal wear? Try El Guapo. Looking for a true, custom rent-​able zoot suit? Yep, they have multiple styles, patterns and colors. They also do shoes, dresses, and flowers, all with the same level of service.
