Fitness in the City

Hands down the best gym I’ve ever attended! No matter the class, it is a well structured, high energy, challenging work out with awesome music! The trainers are enthusiastic, knowledgable, and genuinely care about each and every member! This is truly an exceptional community and everyone there supports and motivates each other, pushing one another to their very best. Great for all ages and workout levels! I’ve never loved working out as much as I do now. Check it out!

If there was ever a Denver gym deserving of 5 stars, this would be it. Classes will give you your fix — at whatever level you’re at on any given day. Instructors are fantastic, and community is more than welcoming and friendly. Really, it doesn’t get any better than this.

Always enjoy my workout here. It’s a very challenging hour where you feel pushed in a friendly environment. All of the instructors are extremely nice and watching out to make sure you don’t injure yourself.

Have known these guys and working out with this group for a few years now back when they first ran their fitness group out of City Hall (not THAT’s a workout!!). Love ‘em all! Positive vibes, meet new peeps, get your sweat on.

Last night I took a class called META circuit at fitness in the city. I was a little overwhelmed when I walked in, it was packed! I think there had to have been 30 people in the class. But once we broke up into groups to do our circuits it wasn’t as jam packed as it had felt during the warm up. Eric taught the class and he was great. Upbeat and motivating. I thought there was no way I could have finished the whole hour, but I worked my butt off (and every other muscle) And left pumped to take another class with Eric or one of the other trainers at fitness. Get ready to sweat! Definitely bring water! It’s been a long time since I’ve had this good of a workout :)

fitness in the city is no joke. Lewi and his kettle bells will kick your butt. They are a little cumbersome at first but when you get into the swing ;) of it you will feel the results. Check these guys out!

Started off with a challenge boot camp here, and have just signed up for monthly membership because it’s been so fantastic.
Have a variety of classes offered throughout the day. I do pretty much all mornings, because it’s so hard to make it to workout at the end of the day, so I do Yoga-​Cross and Power Hour mostly, but they are fantastic workouts. Fridays now have a «Feel Mo Better» class, which is all about the foam roller and easing the tension in the muscles. It is a brilliant class, and really shows the FITC is taking the time to remind their clients to stretch, that it’s better for you to take a day off every now and then.
Every class I’ve taken has been a mix of workouts, I’m never bored. The trainers all really know what they are doing, and they make it hard, fun, and maximize the hour you spend with them. I just set my recurring classes for 6 days a week, and plan to take some of the evening classes when I can for some variety. Needless to say, I’m excited for bikini season!

Took a FlexFriday HIIT class here with Tara and it ROCKED. She worked us hard and I left feeling like I had the best workout.
The space itself is kind of small — we had maybe 15 people in class and it felt a little cramped. I’ve heard classes get even more jam-​packed so that would be a bit challenging but it seems like they make do.
Looking forward to trying another class, soon!

A friend of mine at work turned me onto Fitness in the City. She does the lunch session, express workout, in which I agreed to join her. We took INVICTUS XP, which is a core and rotation workout for 30 minutes. We jogged (and walked) =/​both to the gym and back to the office, six blocks away. But that is beside the point; the workout was awesome and kept changing and moving so I didn’t tire of the exercise as one might on a stationary machine. Did I mention a fitness instructor is guiding you through the class? There are other classes to try, RENOVATION XP, TOTAL BODY BLAST, MMA CONDITIONING and much more. Definitely check out their website for a class schedule and give it a try. I was not really up for going but the 30 minute blast is totally doable on the lunch hour, however, they have an all day schedule. Needless to say, it was a great workout and I look forward to more!
