I’ve had one terrible cut and 2 decent cuts. The rating may go up if I ever get a haircut worth exclamation.

I have had hair now for… well, decades. To that end, while it threatens to fall out, it never really does, so I have to keep getting haircuts. Options abound in the world of grooming, and I have come to the conclusion that it is totally worth paying a bit more for a WAY better haircut than the monster chain stores. At Floyd’s, you can expect: — Professionals skilled at their craft — A warm neck shave to clean up the scraggly bits — A pain in the ass time of finding a parking spot

Really great staff. They saw my car get stuck in the snow and came out with a shovel to help me get it out. Incredibly nice people!

Got a haircut from Caroline. Great haircut very friendly. I recommend her and Floyds. I live in OKC but my favorite barbershop is in Denver!!!

They should really teach their stylists/front desk help how to give a correct assessment of how long the wait is going to be. This is the second time in a row that I’ve had this problem at the his location. If you have an afternoon free and want to wait it out, you’ll get a great cut. I personally don’t, so I won’t be back.

Well, it’s strange. I was in Denver for few days and decided to cut hair because I don’t like LA places at all. What I expected was just a simple haircut. They told me 45 minutes, but the cool was that I came few hours later and it still didn’t matter, I had chair soon, and the person cut my hair simple as I wanted with never repeating the questions, just enough to find out what«simple haircut» means. So when the barber is surprised themselves at the result(I have lot of uncombed hair usually before I cut my hair), I know that they did the right thing. in this case but absolutely everybody said how they like me with new haircut. good job :)

Well stopped in got quoted 20 minutes, lol. Sitting there and get passed up by four guys who arrived after me, when asked the counter person says«they have reservations! » interesting. Guy that came in behind me was asked if he had a reso, he. said no. Great customer service, and seriously a waste of time.

This place is all about the product sell. They will relentlessly try to sell you hair products that you can get for a quarter of the price on Amazon. Also there is ZERO point to make a reservation. They will still have you wait 30 – 45 minutes when you arrive to see someone even when you have a reservation. Do yourself a favor and go some place local.

This is an update: as i said last time not every hairstylist is the same and is why I decided to give the place another chance and i was not disappointed. I was offered a chance to repair what had been done. The stylist I had today(Kaydie) was great and was very informative about what she was going to be doing to my hair with much enthusiasm, she had some suggestions of her own even though I had a picture of what I wanted and I was happy that she incorporated her ideas and mine together. She was great with my son and it seemed like he felt super comfortable with her which is very important to me. I have to say that I have found my stylist and I was happy with the service I was given today, I will definitely be coming back here for my my both my son and I’s haircuts: D

Depends on your Barber(and they rotate quite a bit, both shifts and new hires/people leaving), but I’ve gotten great haircuts here. Apparently they’re developing week-of appointments FYI

I’ve gotten my hair cut here probably a dozen times: 1 was good, 5 were okay, 3 were bad, and 3 were among the worst hair cuts in my life. After repeatedly asking for my sides tightened up and a little trim on top, and consistently walking out with a $ 25 buzz cut, I get my hair cut for $ 12 right down the street. My new girl doesn’t really speak English but strangely she can follow directions far better than the staff of this or any Floyd’s I have ever been to.

It was my first time here and I really wanted a hair cut that day at that time so this was like my only option. I played 56 with tip and some Moroccan oil hair treatment they convinced me to get. My hair stylist was quiet and if I didn’t bring up a conversation she wouldn’t of said anything at all. She took her time asking how I wanted it and all and I really didn’t know I just know I wanted it short but not too short and for it to look pretty. I got the shortness but that’s about it. I guess I just jumped into having my hair short too fast. I wish I would of gotten some suggestions on what would look good on me when going short.

I just saw Tosha(pronounced Tasha) and she did an awesome job giving me a new edgy cut! It’s the cut I’ve dreamed of since having my hair cut short two years ago and the price was great too! I 100% recommend seeing her for your next cut and style!

I am so upset. I don’t get my hair done very often, and when I do, I like to try new things. I had Stacey, she was very sweet, but she did not do what I had asked her to do. I had to come in twice, and she still couldn’t do what I had asked. And after I had paid, she told me that they didnt have the color to color my hair with. That made me left crying and upset even more. I want to try this place again, but I’m afraid too. And after several days with the wrong color, I hate my hair more and more. This is not what I had asked for.

I travel a lot and I have to say I’ve always had a good experience at Floyd’s where ever they happen to be(and I love that they straight razor shave your hairline). Just moved recently and had to find a new hair place. This location is great! Parking is available behind it and the spaces may be a little tight but sure beats street parking. Barbara is awesome! Actually, all the staff has a great attitude here and I’m sure the other stylists/barbers are talented too but as far as my hair goes, I don’t need to go any further than Barbara.

I have had a hard time in the past to get the look that want at many other barbers/stylist from other branded establishments and ran out of patience. I have resorted to buzzing my own hair and also just letting it grow. I get tired of the cycle of not having what I want. I have been to other Floyd’s locations in Downtown Denver, and Broadway and it just seemed to be the same thing I experienced in the past. I gave Colfax location a try it was close to where I live and was a good price. I met Shauna and she was very professional and confident in what she was doing. I showed her a picture of what I wanted and she said that she could definitely make it happen. I asked for advice and she really listened to what I wanted and was great to talk too and made me feel very comfortable with the new look I wanted. I am very happy with the service I get with Shauna at Floyd’s Colfax. I was pressed for time and had to get a cut from another barber/stylist and called ahead to get on the list I walked in and I was immediately told that Rachel would help me. She also did a great job and I am very happy with the results. I am a loyal customer to this shop and confident in the skills of two people that have helped me get the look I want at a great price.

Easily my favorite Floyds in Denver. I usually plan on going during slow hours, so I don’t deal with much of a wait. You can also call ahead and have them put you on the list, or actually make an appointment. The staff is cordial and professional. I have not received a bad haircut here. The full service nature of this barber is also attractive, which includes a shoulder massage and a steamed towel. If you go to some other places they can’t do things like a neck shave, for whatever reason. Floyd’s is the real deal in the world of barbers.

I don’t get my haircut very often… But when I do, it’s kind of a treat for myself: a rare pampering. I’ve been to this location of Floyd’s a couple of times and got a decent haircut out of it and the whole«head spa» as I think of it(shampoo, neck shave, head massage & wash) and it was pleasant enough. Twice now within a week they’ve wasted my time. First, I walked in without an appointment and was told 20 – 30 minutes wait time. I walked up the block, had a beer and was back within 20-minutes. I sat for an additional 30-minutes before giving up and telling them to take me off the wait list. My second attempt was this evening. I called and made an appointment for 6:30pm. I told them I didn’t care who it is with(I just want my haircut and head spa). I get there early and am told the stylist/barber/whatever is finishing up and will be with me in a bit… Cue another additional 30-minute wait until I, once again, tell them to remove me and I leave. Collectively, that’s somewhere in the realm of over an hour they wasted of my time… All while having to sit there and listen to their shitty, piped-in music. There’s nothing worse than wanting to give a business one’s hard-earned money, only to have them waste your time and patience. All I received was a banal apology… They won’t ever see a dime of my money again, which I realize is not much, since I would only frequent them once a month tops… It’s such a shitty thing to do: to waste someone’s time and not even make an attempt to make it right.

The Floyd’s location I usually visit wasn’t able to get me in on a moment’s notice, so I ended up over on Colfax to get a quick dye in last weekend. No complaints at all! The woman who took care of me was talented, professional, polite and fun. She had me in and out as quickly as she could, and was interesting to chat with. :) Also, you really can’t complain about Floyd’s prices — it’s really pretty inexpensive for good work. Be sure to arrive early, as parking in this area is, of course, terrible.

I’ve been going to Floyd’s for years now. I love the music, the friendly atmosphere, and the shoulder massages you get at the end. And the prices are very reasonable! I’ve had Kirk cutting my hair for the past several months, and I’ve been very happy with the job he does. He’s also a lot of fun to talk to, and he’s very knowledgeable about all things hair. Every time I get a cut from Kirk, I leave Floyd’s looking like a million bucks. My one gripe with Floyd’s is their policy of not taking advance appointments; I have to call early in the morning to schedule time in Kirk’s chair. More often than not, their phones are already ringing off the hook, and by the time I’m able to get through to someone, Kirk’s book is already full up for the day. This is a huge pain in the ass: it took me five days of calling once before I gave up and just decided to go in and let the next stylist available cut my hair. I don’t know how many people have had similar experiences and decided that they’d be just as happy at another barbershop/salon. If you’re reading this, Floyd’s management, you might want to reconsider your policy. As happy as I’ve been with Kirk, I’m not going to play this game every time I need a trim. If you can get in, and get your preferred stylist, you’re going to leave looking and feeling great.
