Gateway Park Apartments

This place is out of control. The rent is outrageous for what you get. Parking is a joke. There isn’t even enough spaces to fit the people that live here! If you get home late they expect you to park outside of the gate where anyone can do what ever they want to your vehicle. My truck was towed because the only space available was a handicap space so I parked there just for the night and when I went to move it in the morning it was gone without a warning. I drive a nice truck with lots of custom work so I refuse to park anywhere outside of the gates in fear of my truck being damaged or stolen. No warning or even a call saying my truck had been towed so at first I thought it was stolen. Do not live here it has been a terrible experience for me and many others. Management is selfish and just wants to take you money in exchange for a sub par living experience.

This place is not worth your time or money. They have bugs and dead fish 100% of the time in their lake. There are constant robberies and breakins even though it’s a gated community. Speaking of the gate, it’s broken or missing the majority of the time which give the criminals easy access. The the community staff doesn’t even tell you when incidents have occurred, saying it’s private and that your safety is not important. They also claim that its a weed free apartments but the is all you smell ²⁷⁄₇ along with kids drumming. When you report it, they do completely nothing to resolve the issue. Upon move out, there was no move out inspection or pre move out inspection but they will charge you 2,000 saying we have pictures of a few scuff marks on the wall so we had to paint the whole apt. All, this two months after move out with Zero communication. This community is not woth the hassle, just stay away.
Other than that the Leasing Consultant, Alanya is very nice.

This place is a horrible place to live, the prices are way to high for what you get. I have complained about the marijuana and cigarette smell and management never did anything about it. I can’t do laundry in my own apartment because the smell has penetrated to the laundry room and the washer and dryer. My bathroom also reeks of disgusting pot and cigarette smell and management told me they didn’t smell anything after coming in 4 times, There is a possibility they probably smoke and are use to the smell because every person that has visited me smells the nasty smell here. Unfortunately I can’t leave yet, so I am dealing with the incompetence of the management till my house is ready to move in!

Having lived in this complex for nearly a year, I have to give this place a decent rating. Most people just complain about apartment complexes, but I actually found this place to be fairly pleasant to live in. Yes, it’s in Green Valley Ranch, a rather unpopular section of Denver to live in, and it’s surrounded by hotels and chain restaurants. However, if you have to live in this section of Denver, it is the quietest apartment I have ever lived in. I realize that has more to do with my particular neighbors than the complex itself, but overall this is a quiet location. Many families reside here and it is very family-​friendly.
The apartments are not fancy, but have been renovated or updated. All my appliances ran without issues. When I did have maintenance issues, my requests were always taken care of within a day or two. I found the staff to be generally personable and professional in almost all cases. The grounds were clean, and the pool, business center, and gym were always well-​maintained.
There is a man-​made lake/​pond behind the complex with a walking/​biking trail/​sidewalk and a fake beach. Not fancy, but better than nothing. Overall, this place is decent and a good option if you find yourself in Green Valley Ranch.
