This place did a great job making me feel
Comfortable the minute I walked in. The front staff was very approachable and they processed all my paperwork in a timely manner. They had multiple physicians staffed, so the wait was brief. Once in, they made sure to be very thorough while being respectful of my time. I highly recommend if you must get care outside of a normal primary facility!

I’m writing about this place again because they seriously screwed up. Turns out I’m allergic to amoxicillin and I broke out in hives all over… I mean in between my toes, my face, everywhere!!! Of course that part isn’t their fault. I went back because of my hives and they said there was nothing they could do for me because they were «internal hives». A few days go buy and it just keeps getting worse. Finally I decide to go to a internal medicine doctor. They give me steroid pills and I was clear within the day… The doctor was shocked that the clinic didn’t do anything for me… It looked like I had really bad chicken pox. Anyways… Be careful if you go… The person that saw me was even an MD and not a PA… I guess she couldn’t find a better job cause she didn’t know what she was doing…

Do not go here if your in pain. I have blood clots and cant have any dental work
done. Had been here before and it was quick. This time I was told they have a
new owner and they actually wont prescribe any pain meds. I know some
people abuse this but not all of us are pill seekers. I wasted my time and money.
They gave me a mouth wash and something else they use for sore throat pain???
I really cant stand the pain I am in so have to go somewhere else. Too bad I bet
this place will be gone soon…

I really love urgent care centers because it often takes a long time to get in to see a PCP and because they are cheaper and faster than ERs.
I’ve been pretty happy with this one. I tend to come when I feel like I need antibiotics or cough medication, which is the kind of thing urgent care is great for. The doctors and staff here have been great, there’s parking, and my insurance is accepted. That’s enough for me.

No one wants to have to go to Urgent Care… But when you have to, this place was actually quick, clean and competent. Dr. Alexis was great.

Came in today with a sliced finger (alone and a bit scared) and within 90 minutes was processed in, seen by a Liz, stitched up by Becca, and sent on my way for a reasonable price. Cannot recommend this place enough — they’re fast, friendly, empathetic, capable, and upfront with cost.

Wow I feel so much better now. I thought I had a broken foot and Tennis season is just around the corner. I had injured myself two months ago hearing a loud snap… I thought it would just heal… last saturday night I played tennis indoors for two hours… the spot I injured was red… bruised and swollen… Now I’ve signed up for tennis teams at Gates, Wash Park, and a USTA league at Stapleton. I didn’t think it would be smart to play with a broken foot… went to Guardian Urgent Care… with my out of state out of network insurance and all I had was a $ 30 co pay… I waited maybe ten minutes… got four xrays… saw a total of four different sets of dr’s…xray tech and finally got fitted with a boot for now. Its just a bad bruise no fracture. The staff was great… and I saw their training board inside… make people HAPPY! Well they did… I’m not out of pain but I’m out of the wooods and out $ 30…but considering the down side… I’m very very happy thanks to the good folks at Guardian Urgent Care They even sent me home with my xrays on a CD… wow I feel GREAT!!!

I feel like I have been run over by a truck. Seriously, my nails hurt right now as I type this. The folks at Urgent Care were so helpful, gentle and kind, even sharing compliments and kindness during my visit. Guardian is fairly fast, affordable and efficient. I’m looking forward to feeling better soon!

My experience centers around having a terrible billing experience and poor customer service. The advertising in their rooms was misleading, and the staff had terrible communication about it. It took several attempts to work with their 3^rd party billing company, and management, after which I was finally sent an apology letter and gift card — but am still billed too much. They can’t deliver on their promises — I would avoid and just go to a hospital. All those poor trees wasted, and costs are inflated to support the ineffective billing provider.

HORRIBLE wait times. If you want to be miserable waiting to be treated for 3 hours, come here! This was my second visit & I hope to never have to come back. It’s infuriating to be waiting for service hearing staff talking and laughing outside the door with no updates on how much longer you’ll be waiting. Sadly, this is the most conveniently located urgent care for BCBS insurance to Wash Park.

I have had to be here twice in the past year and they have been very helpful! Expect to wait awhile, sometimes they only have one Dr. But the ones i have seen have been great! This is definitely the urgent care i would come back to, it doesn’t hurt they are the closest to my home as well

Guardian is a stellar place! They offer fast, affordable doctors care in a quick manner! I was recently there for a broken hand and they x-​rayed me right there, referred me to a hand specialist, called and made the appointment, and got me on my way! All in under an hour! Awesome job by Dr. Sangeeta Clarke! Thanks!

Had to take my four year old in to look at his arm after jumping on our trampoline. The staff was super nice and took their time in talking to him. We were in and out in less than a hour, including xrays!
Will be back if and when we need care urgently.

I have been going to Guardian Urgent Care basically as my primary care physician for about 3 years now. I got really tired of calling my old doctor for an appointment to be told they could see me in 5 days, only to show up and wait to see them for an hour or more when I had an APPOINTMENT. My copay for Guardian is only $ 20 more than for a normal doctor’s visit and in my opinion it is totally worth it.
I have never once waited more than 30 minutes to see someone here. The staff are very helpful, kind, and professional. I have never had any billing issues or any misdiagnosed conditions. I hate going to the doctor because it’s always such an annoying administrative song and dance, but I am always in and out with no trouble here. I went in yesterday and was seen less than 10 minutes after walking in the door.
I would recommend this place to anyone who is fed up with the long waits and rude BS you get at other doctor’s offices. If I have any sort of medical woe outside of a yearly checkup this is the only place I’ll go.

Came in to check out what was going on with my sore throat and swollen lymph nodes. I filled out paperwork and they attended to me fast. Good service.

I went here on Jan 3^rd because I had an ear infection. I waited over an hour then was seen by the doctor for 5 minutes. She looked in my ear and wrote me an Rx for antibiotics — pretty standard. I paid the $ 100 upon checking in, which lead me to believe that the visit cost $ 100. I even called before I went down and asked how much the visit would cost and was told $ 100.
However, I got a bill in the mail yesterday for an additional $ 50. I called to get an explanation and was told that they are able to bill my insurance at a certain rate so they did and basically I’m stuck with the balance. Essentially had I not given my insurance card, I would not have been billed the additional $ 50. I only have catastrophic coverage for health insurance, so my visit wasn’t covered and I paid out of pocket for this visit already. I don’t understand why they make you pay up front if the price can change — that feels incredibly misleading to me! I will not be returning to this urgent care center and if I need one again, I’ll just drive across town to a different one.

Rude and unprofessional. Long story short.
I brought my friend here and sat with her through her appointment. We first arrived and the receptionist was busy with her son. About five minutes later we were asked to be helped. 30 minutes later they apologized for losing our place in line. 15 minutes after that we are taken back. Another 30 minutes we are talked to and the doctor had not even read her file (this was a follow up appointment). She was forced to pay just to be awkwardly told «Uhh sorry, we have nothing to say to you?» So unprofessional. The nurse cursed in front of us. And it was obvious he really had no clue what he was talking about! I was floored by his stupidity. In the end I ended up asking him a bunch of questions because my friend was barely able to talk. And he couldn’t answer one of them. He had no concern for her health. And my friend is still very ill.

I’ve been to the E.R. several times and have always waited 6 – 10 hours before being seen and then waiting an extra hour in the room. I HATE the ER.
I was feeling like hell for two days, so I went to Guardian. In 2 hours, I filled out the paperwork, was assessed, and had all the help I needed. The staff is nice, they seem like they love their jobs, and the place was clean.
I’m definitely coming back here if I need help again

I was feeling pretty flu-​ish a few days ago and wanted to nip it in the bud, so I came to Guardian Urgent Care.
While the wait was very long (kind of ridiculous, really, given that there were three of us who walked in when they opened), but they did take good care of me. They took a flu swab as well as a strep swab that they were able to process in a matter of a few minutes. Thankfully, neither of them did come back with any positive results, but I was glad that they were able to run the tests.
A very nice touch was that they called me a couple of days after my visit to see how I was feeling. I have never had an Urgent Care office do this and I thought it was really thoughtful.

I’ve been here twice in the last 3 months or so. First for an issue with my ankle, and the second on Easter Sunday morning when I pulled a bunch of ribs from coughing violently. Both times I had to wait quite awhile — I was there for over 1.5 hours each time (from check-​in to walk-​out). But it is what it is — you need someone to take a look at your ailment, and you’re not able to make a regular doctor’s appointment to do so (due to short lead-​time, weekend/​holiday, what have you)… so you go here. The doctors are friendly enough, as is the receptionist. Not overly friendly, but not off-​putting either. They have a huge TV and «Say Yes To the Dress» was on, so that was okay with me.
I have an insurance co-​pay so I’m not sure what the walk-​in rate is, but I know they require payment upfront. They also will fill any medications that they prescribe for you here, at $ 20 each, although I’m not sure if that’s just for a generic version or what, or if it depends on your level of insurance coverage. In my experience, I have insurance and had 2 prescriptions filled and they were both $ 20, which I’m sure was a premium compared with the pharmacy, but that meant I didn’t have to make another stop and wait for them to be filled — which was appreciated since it was Easter and I had already wasted my entire morning sitting at urgent care vs. baking homemade rolls. But I digress.
This place is a-​ok, if you need a doctor — stat.
