I visited here during a business trip. The coworkers that went with us was pleasantly surprised as well. I had the local burger special for Denver. It was a burger with avocado and their mac & cheese. It was very good. The con here was the server was slow and did let our drinks run out several times having to wait long periods of time before service. I would strongly recommend this based on food, atmosphere, and location.

Just left this establishment not very pleased… My wife daughter and I walked in to get lunch. The hostess stand was very polite and got us a table right away. Fast forward 20 minuets and not a single server came to our table to ask us how we were or even take a drink order. A couple was sat after us and their order was taken. Normally I’m ok with a wait but when a table is sat after us right next to us to be exact and still no server comes to our table that’s a little messed up. So after 20 minuets of not being acknowledge we left. This is unsatisfactory. If I could leave less than 1 star I would.

Although when I attempted to walk in on the second floor as I usually do, but it was blocked with garbage bags, so I had to walk downstairs and enter through the main entrance, and an unpleasant chemical smell resonated throughout the building. I will cut them slack on those two things, because they had just opened and the burger and service were great. The have a great patio right on 16 street mall, so if you want to catch some rays and people watch the location can’t be beat. Plus I felt really great eating such an awesome burger made with Angus beef for their one time, one hour throw back priced specially for the esoteric of Denver at .71 cents! Also, I liked the hotess and my server introducing themselves to me Zoey and Ralph.

There is a reason why i rated 4 stars. I grab Unilocal to find out hows my lunch and had to see what I can have. Their food is spectacular and delicioous. I had Strawberry Basil lemonade and The Texan chicken and some molted lava cake. Almost my portion was also very filling. I couldn’t even finish it but it was so good that I had to pack my leftovers and bring it home. Its a good lunch after all. Ilove it!!!

Update to my previous review… After leaving a poor review about Hard Rock Café, John wrote to me in an attempt to make things right for us. His efforts DID help the bad experience, so I’ve upgraded my 1 star review to 3 stars. I declined his offer of another try at his restaurant for two reasons… #1– It would be hypocrital of me to accept something I complained about and might seem like I was trying to get something for free. #2– Holidays into Denver are few and far between for us, so we probably won’t be back anytime soon. Finding good help is difficult and sometimes an employee incident happens. John’s effort to right a wrong was appreciated. MC

I usually avoid chains like this because I feel like the food quality is always lacking, however, that wasn’t the case here. I actually really enjoyed my food. My problem was the unprofessional bar staff. I work in a restaurant so I’m not picky about anything because I understand when you get busy it’s hard to keep up, blah blah blah. But this was a slow Sunday afternoon, our bartender took our order and was polite for the most part. 15 minutes pass by and not even half way through or drink nor has our food arrived and she asks us to close out because her shift is over and she wanted to get out of there. *she also asked the gentleman next to us to close out his tab as well, we looked at each other with shared disgust and frustration. What the fuck. Its your job to be there, serve us our shit and do it with a smile, it’s not that hard. But it didn’t stop there. Her and the night time bartender then argued in front of us about who would take the tables and then had a loud, personal conversation in front of us as we still waited for our food. My boyfriend and I waited around for a manager to walk by, none in site, our entire time there. Where you at bro? When we do find him we state our complaints. No apology from the manager OR the staff No sort of compensation No way. This was my first time ever visiting a Hard Rock Café and definitely my last which is a shame because the atmosphere is awesome, oh well.

We had visited the HardRock café restaurant here years ago. This is where we had the most fantastic time ever. The rooms completely left me speechless and I thought I would never see the day where I would faint because of how so beautiful it was. The servers are gorgeous, the tables are long and extensive. The portraits of guitars and wall art of all rock n’ roll legends are to die for! It is amazing how much this place totally became divey and changed my life and outlook on how I eat. They had killer menu items. Including the most awesome burgers ever! I fell instantly in love with their burgers and felt a strong bond with the entire staff working there. They treat you like royalty and give you the best service there is to be. Ultimate place to host a birthday party too!

My wife and I have been here 3 times in total the first time was good, the 2nd was alright, but the 3rd was incredible. We had Bobby as our server and he was one of the best servers my wife and I have had very courteous and attentive to detail. Plus, a great personality. Will be definitely coming back again a fourth time and asking for Bobby personally.

Wish I could have ranked the food but never got to. We came on a Saturday around 2pm. We decided to sit at the bar for lunch(party of 2). There were menus there, but we never were acknowledged by the waitstaff. 15 minutes… no drink order, no «We’ll be with you in a moment,» nada. 10 more minutes, still nothing. We closed the menus and were looking around. Decided to get up and leave, I don’t think they even noticed.

Two stars mostly for the fact that they were advertising happy hour specials on the board outside, the menu, and the bar TV screen, that were way worse than they actually were. $ 4 crafts was actually $ 1 off domestics(ew). Nothing irks me more than false advertising, especially when it comes to happy hour beer. C’mon, guys.

We recently came here with an enormous group during the CO All-State Choir. We sat upstairs and our drink and food orders were taken within a reasonable timeframe. My husband and I each ordered the cheeseburger with fries, and our kids had the chicken tenders with fries. Both were good, and arrived fresh and hot– no complaints. The seasoning on the chicken was very kicky– my kids really enjoyed it but they like spicy food. Typical Hard Rock décor throughout, and the place seemed clean enough considering it was a busy Friday night in LoDo. The staff were very outgoing and friendly– they dealt gamely with our group’s contingent of teens trickling in after rehearsals throughout the meal. Everyone at our table seemed to enjoy their food. A good experience overall.

Wow, I can’t believe how bad this place is. I ordered a «special Guiness» burger and it was terrible. Frozen patty with Velvita cheese on it. You spend 25 bucks(including tax and tip) on a crappy burger like this. No thanks never again. Can’t believe they get away with selling their crappy food at ridiculous prices.

We love this place. Not able to come very often, but catch it every year for work conference. The place is loud so not a place to go if you want a quiet little spot. Food is good. Service is great. We are also noticing the same employees year after year so that is really neat. Especially for a good restaurant… They must take care of there team. Love it!

Met up with a large group of friends here for Drunch after a long night of partying and I must say, what a great environment! The waitress was very attentive, busty, efficient, and friendly. I ordered the local legendary burger, which I strongly recommend trying. For my first hard rock experience, I would say it was very positive. 10⁄10 would eat again

Had some great service on New Year’s Eve! I made a reservation for 8 and asked to have a table in their room that overlook 16th street. Everyone told me they couldn’t guarantee anything being that it is NYE. And they said with our party of 8, they could only do 2 tables back to back since they only sit 4 tops in that room. I understood and said if not it was on. Not only did they get us a table, we were put at the same table!

The phenomenally attentive service cannot, unfortunately, make up for the awful food they choose to serve. They must have scored a great deal on red onions because it was their go-to filler for the salsa and the fajitas. And their mango margarita sucked. Ok… so maybe we shouldn’t order Mexican at a Hard Rock. I had the twisted chicken mac-n-cheese, a little silly little entrée, perhaps, but it’s one of their signature items. If I could describe it in one word: rubbery. The pasta was nothing special. And I’m pretty sure their chicken was frozen until microwaved. If one were to take a peek in the kitchen of a Hard Rock, would they find microwaves and heat lamps? It’s a Hard Rick café, hardly fine dining. But the price you pay for what you get is absurd. $ 85 for the two of us to eat low-quality fast food.

I come to this locaiton for a number of events — dinner with friends from out of town — it was the great choice for a family of 4 with 2 pre-teens. post event party — we hosted a party here for our speakers and sponsors — the staff was very friendly, and food and drinks flowed lunch during our conference — we hosted lunch here for nearly 150 – 200 people — that large of a crowd is just too large for this location to handles — but those that did receive lunch said it was tasty pain night — we joing a paint night event here. The staff did a decent job of keeping everyone lubricated and checking everyone out at the same time at the end. All in all — it’s a hard rock, it’s on 16th street, it’s a touristy type place that has a pretty big location, plenty of options for whatever type of event or dinner you want to have!

I hadn’t been to a Hard Rock in years… now I remember why. Extremely mediocre and overpriced foods. Ordered the turkey club as well as the chicken sandwich. Both meh and both overpriced. The stars are because the ambiance is the same at every location. Which I appreciate. This location however smelt like a soured– lemoned floor cleaner which hit you when you walked In the door. Not a good welcome. Also our server rushed us for the check, asking for my card, and clearing our plates off when we were obviously not ready. It was 11:30 on a Friday — at lunch. It was empty.

I travel a lot for work and this is my 5th Hard Rock I have had the honor of visiting. David was my server and he rocked(pun not intended har har cough). He was excellent waiting on me considering it was semi-packed when I ate there last Sunday. My chicken bbq sandwich was good — it was a chicken bbq sandwich. :) David made the experience worth-while. I’m in human resources so hats off to whomever hired him. Rock on!

Sure this is a total tourist spot, but the vibe is cool and I’ve been to a Hard Rock in almost every city I’ve been to, so it’s a bit of a tradition. I wanted a Moscow mule but they don’t have them here?! Sad but whatever, I ordered a mojito. It was probably one of the best, most refreshing mojitos I’ve ever had! The bartender knows what’s up, I ordered another round and my girlfriend did too!

The food is average, but my experience sucked. The host was a snobby gay guy. No one was in the restaurant, maybe one person at the bar, and because I had my son with me he was rude. I asked if it was alright to come in with a stroller or set our stroller aside, which almost all fancier restaurants than Hard Rock Café have had no problem with, and set the car seat in the booth. His response and facial expression was unwelcoming and he was hesitant to let us sit down and when he did seat us he was rude. The baby was asleep and didn’t make a peep. Kind of an ironic experience since the sign above there restaurant says«Love all, Serve all». My friend got a beer and the top of the glass broke in his mouth which cut his lip. The manager had to come out and do a report which ruined our meal, he couldn’t wait until after? I asked the manager if our drinks were on the restaurant and he didn’t offer a discount or anything. He only replaced the beer with the broken glass. I will definitely not go back! Mainly because the host was so rude.

Hard Rock is a fun experience with good food on the pricey side. The servers are friendly but we didn’t have the best service experience probably due to our large group. The food is good they have a great veggie burger. On the pricey side but a real fun experience if you are visiting Denver or just downtown looking for some good American Food.

Woo hoo. A hard rock. I ended up here with 3 people after 2 other places on Saturday night had over an hour wait at 7:00. Not shocking considering the time. I wanted sushi but evidently one of the people I was with is an extremely picky adult eater and only eats chicken. Okay. The other people in the group wanted to try and eat at more niche Denver places but said places wee the ones with the long wait. So we ended up here. We walked in and were seated pretty quickly but our waitress was nowhere to be found for a good 10 minutes. Annoyed from walking in the snow and cold for 20 minutes(and being from Florida) I decided to peruse the drink menu. Said drink menu didn’t have a single price listed on it. ATALL. when Beth finally did come by she didn’t know a single price of any of the three drinks the girls in our group asked about. She audibly scoffed when I asked for water to start with while I kept looking. That sealed the deal that I wasn’t ordering a $ 14 sangria(I don’t need a souvenir glass and I don’t like white zin, thank you). Our food was fine. Nothing special. Took too long to come out considering the lack of people in the place and we had a friend who came by to join us so we added a chair later, this seemed to be the problem of the century. It wasn’t in the way and she wasn’t going to order anything seeing as she had already eaten and we were halfway done. Again our waitress had a problem with the fact that we needed separate checks. I was a waitress for years. It takes about 4 seconds to do. She was gone so long running the cards I almost grabbed the manager. I still tipped over 20% because I know how crappy it feels to see $ 2.50 as a tip even with split tickets. But based on this level of service, I don’t recommend going here at all. I still want my sushi.

My friends and I were in search of a quick lunch before heading back to the AVMA convention. Hard Rock Café seemed to be a good choice. The location of the restaurant is conveniently located on 16th Street and there were plenty of seats available. Fast-forward to the end of the lunch, we regretted the decision. We ordered a trio sampler for pulled pork and(two parts) beef brisket. The server brought out one portion of the beef brisket. When we asked if the rest of the food was coming, he was confused and said yes. We took the hint that the lone plate of brisket was the only thing made for us. Giving them the benefit of a doubt, we waited. Our waitress came back later to check on us, and was apologetic about the missing food. It took a while for the rest of the food to come to our table, even though she said it was a «rushed order.» Minus major stars for forgetting our order. I’m pretty patient, but my goodness. The restaurant wasn’t even full! We were one of the first onesie the restaurant. Food? The brisket wasn’t the greatest. The sauce was the only redeeming quality to make the meat somewhat tasteful. The pulled pork was dry. It wasn’t the succulent and tender meat that I was expecting. The only good part to the meal were the fries. Oh, and when I asked if we could get more fries instead of getting beans with the order, our waitress said that the portions were predetermined. UHHH. You could have just given me a few more fries and withheld the«cowboy beans.» My first visit to the Hard Rock Café will be my last. This overrated themed/chain restaurant tops my list for places to avoid. I’ll check out those old rock tunes on YouTube and iTunes to avoid subpar food and service. Thanks!

The service is great. Love the high energy, positive attitude of the servers. The food wasn’t all that bad either. We had 3 different kinds of burgers and we all liked them. We came on a quiet day and we had a chance to roam around and check out their displays. It was like eating in a museum. I would advise y’all to come on a non busy day and walk around while they prep your food and check out all the cool stuff on their walls.
