Healthgrades

I have had numerous bad experiences working with Healthgrades to address fraudulent patient reviews. The person I spoke with was rude when I tried to address my concerns. Emails I sent were also ignored.

I have had a terrible experience with this company. I found out they post and support false reviews from anyone and advertise those as patient’s reviews. When I contacted the customer support, the staff were arrogant, inefficient and lacked sympathy.
I wish people would know that this company has no way to confirm the reviews posted on their website are from actual patients.

Healthgrades is the destination to research and compare physicians. More importantly they rate every hospital based on their clinical quality outcomes. If a loved one is having a procedure do your research on which hospital your doctor plans to use. Despite what people think it is the hospital and support team that can mean the difference between a major complication or even death (1 star v 5 star)…

Healthgrades is very inaccurate and unreliable as a way to judge medical practitioners. I have been listed under the wrong specialty for years despite repeated attempts to get this corrected. They list doctors who are long retired or dead, (Try a few names yourself), make no effort to verify whether reviews are done by actual patients. or perhaps by those sent to collection for non-​payment, disgruntled former employees or even competing practices. They don’t provide actual comments but avoid libel charges by hiding under the umbrella of the first amendment, Here’s my first amendment right, «They, like all on-​line ratings sites, should be subject to the same laws of libel that the rest of society face. Until then the consumer should proceed with extreme caution.»

I’ve been utilizing Health Grades for a year now to reach doctor’s public education and professional profiles, awards, patient satisfaction, and contact details. Information is very accurate and current more than what insurance carriers provides to the public. What Unilocal is to businesses, Health Grades are to doctors and health care professionals in all sectors inpatient and outpatient including specialists, general practitioners, dentists and hospitals.
